We bought this as a Christmas gift for our 3yr old. He absolutely LOVES it! We are using it on a tile area inside since it is winter. The only bad feature is that there is a hole (to hold an umbrella) and it allows sand/water to get on the floor. Otherwise... great purchase!

This water/sand table is fantastic. I like that it is raised off the floor. And the toys make it so much more fun. It's large so that both my toddlers can play at the same time. I have no intention to use sand...just water in both sections. Actually my childen have a ball with it with nothing in it! In my experience, sand in any of these toys gets messy and gross. we have a Little Tikes one that sits on the floor. It's only purpose is to be a glorified baby pool.

My 18 month old son loves his new sand table. Overall the toys that come with it are great. However, the shovel is a bit too big for the small digging aread. We've only used it with sand so far and he spends a lot of time filling and dumping the train cars. He also enjoys pouring the sand through the funnels.
It is nice and compact so we use it on our deck. It is also the perfect height for him to play comfortably. It is too bad it doesn't come with the umbrella.

My kids ages 2 and 5 love this table. My 2 year old son especially loves it, because he loves trains. We just use it as a water table. We already own a sandbox, and I would rather not deal with the mess of wet sand. But I think it is the best water table out there.

I purchased this for my granddaughter 20 months old and she has played with it non-stop for 2 weeks! I keep it on the grass in good weather and on the covered deck when it rains. It is very easy to clean up and stow for the next time. I especially like the cover.

We got this for our grandaughter to use at our house. She loves it, she is 21 mths old, and fills and spills and makes a mess on the deck but we can sweep it all into the cracks of the deck, no harm done. We usually have to get her down to her diaper she gets so into it and doesn't care if she gets wet/sandy, and if she doesn't we don't. Lots of time spent. Put together VERY easily, no tools. Her 20 year old uncle put it up in 5 minutes. The aunts, uncles, grpa, grma have spent time with her using this. fun, fun, fun

My 22 month old daughter played with this even while we snapped it together. Super easy assembly as usual with Step 2. We've got water on both sides, and she loves to the train cars to pour water into the funnels. We send her out in boots and a rain coat, and she still manages to get all but her diaper wet. I'm looking forward to hot days when we can just strip her down and let her pour as much water as she wants on herself. The size is perfect--not too big, and not too small. It's a hit at our house.

We use this outside on our small patio. This product is not too large, but provides plenty of fun for the kids. We bought ours for our 11 month old, and it seems really well constructed. We plan on using it for years and it seems like it will really hold up! The assembly was so easy- it took less than 3 minutes to completely put together. The toys are fun, and it helps children learn pouring/scooping techniques, as well as cause and effect. Our little guy LOVES it and so do I. In short- BUY THIS TOY. It is perfect! You can just use both sides for water for a year or so if you are worried your child would eat the sand. Buy it and enjoy!

Bought this table, now it's going back to the store. I understand that water table is meant to get wet and all around it as well, but not to this extent. Every tower accessory splashes water outside the table; spinning mills splash it all over the floor, and water does not go into the table. Table itself is not steady, and the little knots on the blue cover got untied after first use and are impossible to be tied again (which is needed to cover up the table properly)
Towers funnels are not permanently attached and kids are tempted to remove them every time!
I can hardly believe all these positive reviews left by others.

Overall, my granddaughters loved the table and we ended up filling both sides with water. I am concerned with the plastic stress in production of the green main base. Many areas show signs of stress and I'm not sure if it will begin to leak in these areas. It would be nice if it also came with a little pail to fill the funnels.

I would NOT recommend this table for use with sand. The cover snaps tight but the rain water goes right through, so after the first rain all of the sand inside was soaked and there were a few inches of water on top. My two year old looked inside and said "ewwwww!" Also, the wheels do not turn so the sand pours through the funnels and gets stuck and splatters everywhere (there is no way to loosen the wheels). After having the table for a week, the wheels on the train cars also stopped turning from the sand. This table looks adorable but I think Step 2 forgot to test the functionality. We will dump the sand out and use it strictly as a water table, and then we won't have any of these problems. Instead I recommend the Naturally Playful sand/water table. It has a lid that snaps tight so the rain water stays out, it's huge, sturdy, and lots of fun. Two stars because I expect that once we take the sand out it will be a great table.

I needed indoor water tables in my one and two year old classes in my pre-school. We love these tables because they have plugs and you can drain them without dragging the tables outside to dump the water. There is a hole for an umbrella and for indoor use we put a cork in that space so the children would not pour water in that hole. Maybe the table could come with a third plug so the table could be used indoors without the worry of spilling water.

i put sand on both sides since it didnt hold much on one side. the toys at the top dont work with the sand it gets clogged and what does come out just goes everywhere. my son it 15 months old and he tried to climb into it since its not very tall. i wish i'd just bought one that sets on the ground it would've been safer. i do like its fun bright colors. and the cover stays on tight an keeps moister out. When we first received the Sand Water Transportation Station we set it up in the house. My grandson loved playing with the train and putting other toys in the empty sections. He also loves playing on the deck with it filled with water.

This table is great. I looked at a lot of sensory tables and for the price this one was the sturdiest....very well made. I popped it together in 5 minutes without even looking at the instructions (no screws required). The train is adorable - nice that it's one more thing to play with on the table. I just bought this for my 2 1/2 year old. He loves it. It put together in about 5 minutes. Doesn't get any easier. The cover is very durable and seems like it will keep the inside of the sand&water table clean and dry when it rains. I can't wait for it to warm up so my child can use it outside. Currently it's residing inside where he's still having fun using it empty.
