My son absolutely loves cars, trucks and trains. He basically is nuts over anything that has wheels. This car table is perfect for any child who loves to play with cars or trains. It gives children more of an opportunity to use their imagination with this table. Its also great when he wants to color because all we have to do is place the top over the road and now he can color!

My husband and I got this for our two year olds birthday and he just loves it. Our seven year old plays with his matchbox cars on it also. Great design and the up and down roads make it more interesting than just a flat surface.
I bought this for my 21 month old boy for a early birthday present and he loves it. His 7 year old brother does too!!

My 2 year old received this toy for his birthday. At his party,after he opened it, he didn't want to do anything else but play with it. He didn't even want to open any of his other gifts. He loves cars and trucks and this track table is great at entertaining him with his toy cars. Now he doesn't use my coffee table anymore as a track. Even my older boys play with his track table.I would highly recommend this for any age child.

When I am looking to purchase a gift for one of my seven grandchildren, I always check the Step 2 website first. I have purchased many Step 2 products and have never been disappointed. This product is no exception. My 4 year old and 2 year old grandsons spend a lot of time playing with the car track. The fact that it comes with a cover makes it even better.
We bought this for my 1 year old son in April. He loves his matchbox cars and this is a perfect place to play with them on. He loves playing with the lid on and off. Kids of all ages, even my 7 year old niece love it!!

My 2 yr old grandson loves it. Only CON: Must have a power drill to install the screws for legs. As my tools & I live 1/2 day's drive away, they must choose to buy or borrow one. This toy needs to be designed for EASY assembly.

Bought this for my 2 year old son's birthday. We have left it out in the living room and he is always playing with it (even while watching TV). My 5 1/2 daughter plays with it too. Most toy cars will work and even if they don't the kids still play like they do. Great toy for a younger boy. Well worth the investment. We've had the toy for almost a month now and eventually we will put it in the toy room.

Only problem I have with it is the step2 folding chairs don't fit under table so he can sit and play on the table to draw

We use the train table for play and storage. It is a great item for twin two year olds. One child used to pull up the track behind the other child, many tears. We don't have that problem any more.

It's nice to have a train table that doesn't fall apart like traditional tables. The track is built into the table and I love the vibrant colors used on the stickers to create a colorful toy.

This product is a wonderful for our 4 grandchildren. The twins(18 months) and another at 18 months love to sit in the table and play with the trains and cars. The 4 year old has as much fun and they all like to play together in or out of the table. Great product and enables all to use their imagination.

I think my twin 1 1/2 year olds are too young for this and my 3 year old is semi-interested in it. I think it is great, b/c they rip apart our train tracks from another set and they can't with this one.

This is the ONLY train table I will own it is so wonderful!! I bought it when my son was 18 months old. He is now 3 and plays with it every day. All of the small cars fit on it. He has a million of these cars and loves to play with them. I haven't tried any other trains, but he loves the train that comes with the tracks!!! My favorite thing about this table and why I love it so much is the cover!!! I can put ALL of his cars in the table and put the top on and it is a nice clean surface and my son can sit on the floor and use it as a coloring spot. I also love how the tracks are permanant so unlike my friends house, I don't have tracks ALL OVER!! Great toy and one you won't want to live without!

We bought this for our son recently and he just loves it. We finally settled on this one after checking out all the other train/car tables that are out there. We chose this one because step 2 is so durable as opposed to all the wooden train tables that are out there. Wood is so easy to scratch up and get stains on. This sits right in the middle of his room and as soon as he gets up in the morning he wants to get his cars out and play on his table. This table is great because of the lid that makes this useful for coloring and setting his other toys up on to play with too. This fits everything from thomas the train to hot wheels on the roads and tracks. My son is two but this is the first toy my nine year old niece runs to when she comes over as well, so i see this toy getting years of use by my son and since it is step 2 i know it will stay in great shape.

After reading numerous reviews on the website, I bought this toy for my grandson's 2nd birthday and he absolutely loves it. I particularly liked seeing he could use different brands of cars/trucks/trains, everything could be stored inside the toy and the table doubles as a place to eat snacks, doodle on, etc.

My son is obsessed with cars and loves this. It is surprisingly sturdy. I would definitely recommend it to people with young boys, but I think any child could really enjoy it. I know I would have loved it at my son's age.

I have three boys under the age of 4 and bought this for the 2 yo birthday. It is a big hit and they can play with it for an hour without needing MOMMY! I have a Thomas track set that I had to constantly help them put and keep together which caused frustration and some fights. This is already together. My 2 yo happens to be very rough and he can pull out the bridges. I wish they were fastened better as I am sure we will lose one!
I highly recommend this toy for any child that likes to play with cars or trains on tracks.

I bought this for my 3 and 1 year old boys. This is their favorite item to play with. I like that it can be easily covered and made into a table when not in use. All their other cars and train fit into the tracks too. The bridge on the bottom had a bit of a molding problem and did not fit in perfect but the cars will still ride over the bump.

I loved the toy but I had to order a second one because the first was defective and after putting together the 2nd one it was also defective.I had to shave down the track in order for it to fit in.
Your service department was quite helpful to me with this problem.
I have many of your other products and love them.

After having this for 2 days, I asked my husband how we ever lived without it. My 2-year-old loves to drive his cars (most of the various little cars he has fit great on the track) and it got me (7 mos pregnant) up off the floor, where we previously drove around! We've had it for almost a month and still play with it for hours every day! And his older cousins love to play, too!

This train table works perfect with my son's Matchbox and Hot Wheels. He is 1.5 years old and plays with it for hours. We have not put the legs on yet since he is still a little too short but loves it on the ground.

My son is a little bit rough with his toys, so we bought this table hoping that he wouldn't take it apart--as he had done repeatedly with the wooden one we had. So far it has been great--both boys love it! It is nice too because they can use their Hotwheels on the track as well as their Thomas trains.

My sons are 2 and 5 and they both play with this. There is enough room for them both to move around and play without getting in eachothers way or fight over it. It is big though so make sure you have room for it before you purchase it. I really love that it converts to a table as well. So far we have used the table for coloring and eating lunch. It's great and it fits most cars I do wish they tracks were a little wider though because their Disney CARS, cars don't fit. Matchbox and Hotwheels fit though and all the cars that are comparable to those.

My 2 yr old son loves trains but I dislike clutter. I had one Brio set but before buying expensive add-on accessories and tracks I found this table. It is PERFECT. I put a 3x5 rug underneath it so it does not slide around, and he and his little friends GO TO TOWN. It is so much better than loose tracks and trains derailing and tracks coming apart during play. There is one place where I could not push a bridge peg all the way into the hole, but if I just get a little file and loosen up the hole it will fit in perfectly like the others did. I cannot say enough about this. Plus there is no losing any trains or cars or any little pieces you put in there, because at the end you just store everything inside and put the lid on top. Great table!

We got this for our son's 2nd birthday and he loves it. He plays with all of his Hot Wheel cars and his Thomas and Friends train pieces on it. I think that as he gets older, he'll enjoy it more. He still likes to climb inside of it and sit on top of it as he plays with the cars and trains.

The push pins that come to assemble bridges are VERY hard to get in- should either come with bridges or a new way to put bridges on. Also it said that the color of the push pin would match the bridge it assembeled- not true all mine were black. I needed a thumb trasplant by the time I was done! Stickers not soo bad. My son has every matchbox and thomas train and this works for all- saves us room and money from having to buy all kinds of race tracks and train tracks- he uses everything right on this table- BEST [$] ever spent. My son is 19 months.

2 year old enjoys but only for a short time. I think he will play with longer when he is a little older.
