These blocks are great for teaching colors and basic hand/eye coordination and building skills. The picture does make them appear larger and more abundant. But they serve their purpose!

Comments about Step2 Soft Sturdy Alphabet Blocks:

One-year-old was able to hold blocks but not too
interested in building and reading yet. Still
liked to throw and put in mouth with no worries from us. Printing on blocks could have been darker and brighter to get attention from child.
Overall we thought blocks were a good buy.

Comments about Step2 Soft Sturdy Alphabet Blocks:

I bought these blocks because I thought they were large like in the picture, but they are very tiny. They would be great if they were larger and included the whole alpahbet. My son still has fun building towers with them but he has put them in his mouth and teeth marks remain which shows he could bite a piece off if he wanted so be careful!

Comments about Step2 Soft Sturdy Alphabet Blocks:

I was very disappointed in these blocks. They are much smaller then they appear in the catalogue. I couldn't believe that they don't include all the letters. It is obviously difficult to teach a child letters when they are missing several of them. It doesn't make any sense! I would not recommend these to anyone.

Perfect for little hands. Colorful with enough contrast to see the letters clearly. Not too soft and not too hard.

Disappointed in the size. The picture in the catalog showed the foam blocks larger than standard wooden blocks, but the blocks were about the same size as wooden ones. Son stills likes playing with them.

My only concern is what material the blocks are made from because my son puts them in his mouth and can bite on them because they are made from a softer material.

Comments about Step2 Soft Sturdy Alphabet Blocks:

I purchased these for my 17 mo. old twin grandbabies and what a hit! Immediately we began sitting together and counting 1-2-3 as we stacked the new blocks and now they do it on their own...I can hear them play together counting and stacking! The little boy twin now says "lellow" for the yellow block-too cute! We also have learned to stack different sizes and shapes and laugh when we knock them down.
