It's very narrow which is great for storing it when not in play, but it leaves very little room for storing your pupputs in the under stage cabinet. It stores small puppets, like those that come with it, but nice big puppets puppets won't fit. Other than that my girls ages 6 and 2 have really enjoyed it!

We are never disappointed with our purchases and we are really pleased with the puppet theater. But when it came and we saw the small puppets we were a little disappointed so we ordered big ones to add to the fun. But Step 2 puppets were perfect for little hands and the others are put away because they were to big...I'll not second guess you again. We've had lot's of shows and our two grandsons love it so thanks again for wonderful memory making holidays...(all we did was play)

This product encourages role play, language development, cooperative play, and plain fun! It encourages development of roles as both storyteller and audience, and my grandaughters also pretend to sell popcorn, soda, and small and large tickets, so a business sense as well emerges. However, if a child hops into the stage opening, leaning forward, the item will topple over with them in the mix. This happened to my two and a half year old grandaughter, who was playing with her five year old sister, for whom this was a birthday gift. Keeping the back arms of the stage open may help minimize this risk, but the company should look into this. We were close by to help her at the time, it would have been a bigger problem if we were not, or if more kids were close by and fell on top of the theater after it toppled.

my daughter is almost three, and i expected her to love this, but she hasn't touched it since day two. its very flimsy, falls over easily, and for this price i just expected a little better. step 2 is where i get all my daughters toys, but this one was lame.

We have many step 2 items, and this caught my eye as a great tool to help my two and five year olds express themselves freely. They are inspired by the puppets and creative play involved in their own 'story making'

That aside, I discovered while assembling this *Which took twenty minutes, tops..Including sticker placement* that I was blessed with TWO sets of curtains, as well as puppets. It must have been a packing error, clearly...but none the less, I suppose I've received extras in case any damage is to occur to either curtains/puppets. Which I will add are made EXTREMELY well. Not flimsy, badly sewn, etc. Curtains are a rich, plush velour, as well as puppets. However, tho I DO have the light, I am unable to mount it because I found no hardware included. I have searched the box inside and out, as well as all pieces to see where they may have been hidden. But to no avail. I suppose for now it can do without the light, but would be nice for added play effect.

Puppet theater was bought for a Christmas gift and my girls love it. The only comment I have is that the back doors need to be left open in order to make the theater more stable...I noticed it falls over more easily when those doors are shut (I have a toddler that likes to climb!). It was a great find and free shipping was even better. Very happy!

Product was for our 4 year old daughter. She's been playing with it daily since Christmas...today she was using it as a jewelry store. Could use a few more puppets.
One problem we had - while assembling on christmas eve - there were no holes to put the curtain rod, as described and indicated in the assembly directions. My husband to get her his power tools out and drill a hole in the plastic to put the curtain rod into.

My 4yr old daughter and 2yr old son have made great use out of this solid toy. The puppets are well made, a boy and a girl. The one down side, an electric drill is required to install the LED stage light. But this was well described and quick to install. - On the plus side this Frame has become a Pet Shop, Fast Food Restaurant, a Reading Stage, a Kitchen... Also there is plenty of room for two bodies to move about between the yellow doors. For storage the doors close and the frame stands up without leaning on a wall for support. (nice surprise) This is big, but takes up a small footprint. Quite happy with this purchase.

The theater fits nicely into our playroom against the wall and is simple to pull out for the children to put on a show. I had no intention of buying this product. I had previously ordered two different wood puppet theaters from two different web sites and they both arrived damaged. I found this one on this website after a previous purchase and thought I would give it a try. When I opened the box, it was already pretty much assembled. All you have to do is attach the light and curtain, then place the stickers. It couldn't be easier! Great product! My girls love it and will spend hours of enjoyment with it.
