This is an excellent toy to help develop and use the fine motor skills.

This gift was for a male 2 yr. toddler. He's very interested in tools and what they can do, so this was the perfect solution for him to be able to hammer something and the plastic pegs were like real nails to him.

great reasonable gift for an older sibling
Comments about Step2 Little Helper's Workbench:
I bought this for my 3 yr. old grandson because he loves to help PaPa fix things, and his little brother(14months) loves playing with it also. He likes to hammer the pegs in the holes. Great toy!!
Comments about Step2 Little Helper's Workbench:
My son got this for his first birthday, he loves playing with the hammer. Cute toy, I think he'll like it more when he is a bit older.
Comments about Step2 Little Helper's Workbench:
My son is 19 mos old and likes to climb on the bench. Sometimes he likes to pretend to use the hammer and such but other than that he is not that interested in it. My son is very active so who knows if in the future when he decides to sit still he may love it.
Comments about Step2 Little Helper's Workbench:
Great little workbench, great price! My grandson is One yrs old and it was the perfect height.
He plays with it for hours, and even my 2 yr old granddaughter likes to hammer the little pegs in.
Great toy!!!

Comments about Step2 Little Helper's Workbench:
I bought this son when he was 20 months old. He normally loves tools (the real ones that my husband has), so I thought he would love this, but someone he wasn't really that interested in this product. Of the 3 months of owning this, he has only played with it a few times. It's one of his least favorite toys.

Our twin grandsons are enjoying their new play thing.
Comments about Step2 Little Helper's Workbench:
Very solid and just right for a toddler who wants to work with Dad. Can use it inside and outside. A great birthday gift for a 2nd birthday!
Comments about Step2 Little Helper's Workbench:
My 18-mo old grandson uses this workbench frequently. He particularly likes handling the handtools and pretends to "fix" other toys with them. Great toy for learning hand/eye coordination.
Comments about Step2 Little Helper's Workbench:
There are not many options for toolbenches that are appropriate for one year olds. My son loves to put the nails in. He hasn't figured out the wrench or screwdriver yet though. He does really like it. I just wish there was a little more to it. I was looking for the toolbench equivalent to all the little kitchens that are out there for one year old girls. For the price though it is great!
Comments about Step2 Little Helper's Workbench:
Got this for my son's first birthday. Unfortunately, he gets bored of it easily for the purposes that it was made. However, he has turned the workbench into a walker and pushes it all around the living room, uses the hammer on everything he can find, and finds the orange pegs make great teethers! Resourceful at that age aren't they?!
With that being said, I think he will enjoy it more when he is older just as my 2 1/2 year old daughter does. All in all, a solid product that's built to last and worth the price. I just wish it had a few more features to keep them occupied longer...

This is a great toy to keep my 22-month-old boy busy. After he got this bench, he stop pounding on the coffee table with his toys.

I bought this for my grandson's second birthday! He loves having his own space and tools in the garage when daddy and he are building! Perfect for toddlers! Great color too!

Great product. It is a little difficult for a 12 mo. old.

I bought this for my 2 year old grandaughter as a christmas gift and she absolutely loves it. As soon as she saw it she was "fixing things" and still is!!!!
Comments about Step2 Little Helper's Workbench:
We purchased this for our 10 month old son and he really enjoys it - however our two year old has enjoyed it even more.
Comments about Step2 Little Helper's Workbench:
My daughter loves to play with the tools and bench, it gives her hours of entertainment and it is small enough to store easily out of the way when she is done.
Comments about Step2 Little Helper's Workbench:
This is a very well built tool bench and very reasonably priced. He does not seem to enjoy it too much, but he is very "active" and doesn't sit still well. He is a climber, so he tends to use it as a step stool! :(
Comments about Step2 Little Helper's Workbench:
Good product for tool use development and hand eye coordination. Pegs, hammer and wrench are great. Screwdriver is hard for even an adult. My son is only 11 months and is probably a little young to fully enjoy this yet.
Comments about Step2 Little Helper's Workbench:
The Little Helpers Workbench was the only toy that I purchased for my grandson. I felt that it was very age appropriate for him and at a great price. He figured out how to use the screwdriver and to put the pegs into the holes and push them in without any help from the adults.

I got this for my 15 month old son and he loves it. He won't stop playing with it. I am so happy with this purchase. I love that it has its own storage compartment. That really helps with keeping everything together.
