This wagon is great! I used it for the first time with my 13 month old twins and they loved the ride! I love the door and the big wheels, and LOVE the celing the wagon has!
After reviewing tons of wagons and using a friend's Radio Flyer, we decided on this one. It's even better than we imagined. We are so pleased with our purchase. It is well made, safe and easy to pull.
My toddler loves this wagon. Very durable, lots of storage and seems safer than other wagons we've seen. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing and could not be happier with my choice. It's the best!
We bought this for our 2 year old and love it. We have used it for Trick or Treating, a trip to the zoo and neighborhood walks. It is sturdy and handles very well. Love that it has seat belts! Love the covered storage compartment and cup holders on top of the canopy for my stuff. Love the willow green-so much better than some of the loud colors on some other wagons! O.K. now for the issues-- The door could be better. I like that it has one because it's so much safer. My son literally fell out of his former wagon onto the pavement while climbing out. But the door is really hard to open and close.[...]
I ordered this wagon to use on Halloween with my 2 year-old twins, and it was awesome! I was able to take off the canopy and the kids were safe and content while trick-or-treating.
My brother assembled it, and he said it wasn't the easiest thing to do. But I love it and the kids love it and I would recommend it to anybody!
Very well constructed- great buy
Great wagon with good storage for long walks or picnics. My grandaughter loved it. Very sturdy and east to put together.
My twins love there wagon. They enjoy long walks and it is easy to pull. We love it!
I purchased this wagon for my granddaughter's birthday and she loves it. Her parents have used it several times already and they are very happy with this wagon.
bought for our first granddaughter's 1st B-day.
She loves it so much that I couldn't get her to come out of it (for 1 1/2 hours). She loves the roof over it, plus it kept her covered from her first sunny day ride. Plan on buying the added set for x-mas. It took a little time to get use to the front wheels (in turning). We had a different wagon for our girls when they were young. But I do love the way the wagon moves/turns (once I got use to it). I even find it easier than the wagon we had for our girls.
The only thing was, when putting together, parts didn't match up to wagon and the front wheel bar but did figure a way to set it up.
Down fall, sleepy baby unable to lye down.
I researched wagons for about a month before deciding on the Safari Wagon. I have a son and a nephew that is 3 months younger then him. They both love it. I live on a dirt road and it pulls so easiely over the rocks. I have no problem pulling it myself w/ both of them in it.(they are 30lbs and 26lbs) We took it on an all day outdoor trip and packed the seat compartment w/ their diapers and wipes. They loved having their own cup holders and loved that they could interact w/ eachother vs being in a double stroller. I love the fact that i can buckle them in and not worry about having someone snatching them out. I love having the comparment on top. Of course you dont want to have a drink w/o a lid on top. I have a Saturn Vue and to get it in all i do is pop the top off and the bars that hold the top, lay them in wagon and put it in the car. I am not a big person (5'2) and I can do by myself. The only thing that gets kinda annoying w/ it is when my son opens the door. Someone always has to walk back there b/c I am afraid he will open into someone's legs. I assume thats just a 2yr old thing. Overall, I would def. recommend this wagon to everyone!! Its great....I get sooooooo many compliments on it.
My grandchildren use it everyday. They love it so much and so do their parents. Thank you
We purchased this wagon for my grandson's first birthday. We put it together that day and off we went, with him squealing all the way down the street. It has so many clever features, like storage, a door, seatbelts, cover, and places for parents to put their water bottles. This was recommended to us by another grandparent, and we have already passed it on to our friends.
So glad we went with this model...the weight capacity, as well as features such as storage make this the wagon that grows with the family. Best value of any wagon out there!
I enjoy that the product is very durable. I also love the fact that there is a canopy. As parents, we cant' do enough to protect our little ones from the sun!
My son is 18 month's old and he loves it!
I can get my son to go for walks again. He loves to ride in it or walk behind it and push it. Either way, at least we're out and moving.
My twins absolutely LOVE this wagon. We use it take them for rides of course, but we ended up having to keep it in the house full time because they love just going in and out of it or sitting on the bench reading a book. Two of my neighbors with children the same age as ours (20 months) also have one of these. A great purchase!
My son just loves this, I bought this to take him to the Zoo and he just loves it. This is the greatest wagon. It was easy to assemble. Best all around.Only thing is I ordered it through Step2.com [...] [...]
This wagon is everything we could hope for. It is large enough for my 1 year old to use for many years to come. It is silent riding, easy to pull, and looks great. My daughter loves riding with her stuffed animals.
I compared wagons on-line for months and went back and forth between the Step 2 Safari Wagon and the Radio Flyer (“RF”) Wagons. I read several online reviews and one concern was that the Safari wagon was hard to maneuver, which we did not find to be true at all. I like the idea of the RF wagon seats folding-up incase your child falls asleep, but you cannot safely pull the wagon with your child sleeping or they could fall out. I was a bit frustrated because I could not find the Safari wagon in stores anywhere; however the RF wagons were everywhere. Honestly, everywhere we went, we always spotted someone with a Radio Flyer, which helped make our decision. We opted for the Step 2 Safari for the following reasons. The hard plastic canopy was much more durable than the RF canopy; many people commented that the RF canopy ripped very easily and was a bit costly considering the poor durability. The adult drink holders and key compartment are a definitely plus. The door is a must; as our child is able to get in and out of the wagon on his own, which he enjoys. Lastly, there seems to be more space for the kids and more storage in this wagon compared to the RF, especially if you purchase the tag-along trailer – great option. Overall, the look of this wagon is much different than all the other wagons and is well worth the purchase.
GREAT FOR CEDAR POINT, CAMPING AND THE ZOO. [...]
We bought our wagon for longer outdoor day trips, like the zoo. We have found that the kids love it so much that we also use it on walks to the park and we have even wheeled it inside and the kids just love playing in it, opening and closing the door and getting in and out of it. It's really fantastic!
I had a few complications with the front wheels wanting to turn. The washers they sent for the bottom side of the axle, had too big of a hole. I actually had to throw them away and get two more precise washers, and it is working fine now. My daughter loves it and we take one of our friends babies too. They have a wonderful time. The seatbelts are a positive. The canopy on top, which is removable, is an extreme plus when going for a quick mid-day ride in the neighborhood.
Brought this item for my 2 year old son. He loved it the moment we put it together. It comfortably sits 2 toddlers, but we've had as many as 4 toddlers sit together.
I just wish we were able to "push" it as well as pull it.

The wagon is great for outings with young toddlers. We will use it at the zoo, parks, and walks. It is a bit hard to steer while turning and the door that opens is in a downward slant and hard to open, but I do like the slide latch.
We shopped around for the "perfect wagon" for my nephew's first birthday. This one was it! It has a canopy to help keep him shaded, storage underneath a seat, seatbelts, room for two, cup holders for the parents, sturdy & thick wheels that turn with ease, and a decorative look, too! It was very easy to assemble and the parents get a lot of use out of it!
My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves this wagon - especially the under-seat storage, which she fills with all of her "important" stuff. Steers well, easy to pull, and pretty easy to assemble (needed my husband to help get the handle & seatbelts in, but did the rest myself.) Highly recommend this!
We have mostly just used it to go for walks so far, but my little guy(14 months) has really liked his wagon. However, the door is not childproof and we have to put him on the other seat to stop him from opening it over and over. We were unable to take it on our first zoo trip because we couldn't fit it in the back of our small SUV with the stroller that we also needed to take. Otherwise, we love it. We really like the storage on top which is why we got it over the Radio Flyer with the nylon canopy. Its quiet, nice looking, and so easy to put together my son even got to help Dad with it.!

Putting it together
I bought this to use instead of a stroller when we go to places like the zoo, park, nursing home, shopping, etc. I wasn't quite prepared for how big it was. It won't turn easy so it isn't for use in small corridors, libraries, etc. I drive a Yukon and it takes a large portion of the back of my truck without the last row of seats in it.
I like how the handle folds under but I sure would not recommend lifting the wagon for an older person. I am used to carrying two infant carriers and this wagon is still a little heavy for me.
Lot more assembly than I imagined. The door doesn't stay shut very well. There were also MANY defects in the exterior part of the wagon (deep gashes) that I guess came from when it was manufactured. It isn't as easy to pull as I thought it would be. I try pushing it more (so I can actually see my children) but the wheels get turned.
Overall, though, my children love it and I guess that is what really counts! I hope that I learn to love it too. I really don't want to tell my husband how disappointed I was after telling how much we just had to have it. :)
We use this every day with our almost 2 year old. She loves riding. She puts leaves and rocks in the cup holders. And she always waits for the door to open. Wonderful wagon!
I take my kids (4years and 1year)on walks around the neighborhood and they love it. In fact when we are inside the house and my one year old catches a glimps of it thru the window she gets all excited and points to it. I love the seat belts in it for saftey and the top for shade.
This is a top of the line wagon. It has lots of storage. It does take wide turns but it not bad.
I like the storage under the seat and the cup holders. It is easy to take the roof off when I need to put it in the car. I wish the roof fit snug in the wagon for storage, but overall we are very pleased.
Great all around ride..Great for Zoo, Amusment Parks, Walks around town, or whatever it may be...
We visit the zoo often and with our 3 year old getting too big for a stroller we chose to buy something that will work for 2 kids since we have a 3 month old. I wanted something that's easy to clean and will not require that I lift them in and out. I also wanted to make sure to keep them out of direct sunlight since it gets pretty hot in Houston so I needed a durable canopy rather than the cloth canopy. This is great. The only problem I foresee is the ability for a child to sleep in it. My 3 year old is 45 pounds and if he was to fall asleep during a zoo or Disney trip, we'd have to cayy him because of the way the seats are. They don't fold out to make it flat.
Pros: Great wagon, Kids love it, very stable and easy to manoeuver, great for walks and fits easily in our SUV (Honda Pilot), relatively light weight, love the canopy and extra cup holders.Cons: Missing Parts (steel washers and few screws)- luckily the missing parts were easily available at[...]for a total of [$]; [...] Received an instruction booklet for a totally different Step2 product - had to use online assembly instructions.
Great wagon. Ours came with a front wheel bracket that was somewhat seized. Step2 sent out a replacement right away - very responsive. It turned out that a little household oil loosed it up just fine. We love our wagon!
I love this wagon was a gift for a 1st birthday
Great for a zoo visit !
We bought this Wagon for our Daughters 1st Birthday. She loves it and loves to have a friend or her cousin ride in the second seat. We use it at the park and for taking walks around the neighborhood. We're very anxious to try it out at the zoo. When we we're at the park the other day we had two people comment that it was the "caddilac" of all wagons...and it really is! Assembly was easy and it's durable!
Two grand daughters. 2 & 4. 4 year old torments 2 year old. Both want their own space! This wagon is perfect! Very spacious so no one feels crowded! Not hot or crampy like a stroller feels. I'm seriously considering purchasing more so we can all have one at our homes for quick errands. I really can't say enough good!
best used when going on long walks like at the zoo. Our daughter found it easy to operate the door and seat belts. Took the front wheels a bit to finally work properly without problems. Overall, this is a good product.
We bought this wagon for our daughter for her 1st birthday. She loves it!! The door is a nice feature but has to be lifted a little to open and close. The front wheels don't swivel as much as I would like them to for easier turning but it may just take a little time to get used to them. Overall, we love it!!
I purchased this for my great nephew and we couldn't keep him out of it. When he first saw it, there was an smile from ear to ear.
This is a great wagon for the price. We purchased the trailor as well and can have a day out with convenient features for all of us. I only wish that the child seats could stow away for a flat bed so when my toddler is tired she could lie down after a long day. But when her sibling is older this will be perfect for the 2 of them at the zoo, fireworks and any day outside.
We purchased this wagon for our twins for their Birthday and they LOVE riding in it!! When we would go on walks they got bored in their stroller, but ever since we purchased this they absolutly enjoy our walks! It also makes going to the zoo wonderful! We highly recommed this wagon to everyone with small children! We have zero complants about this wagon!
we take this to the beach ever weekend. Although it is heavy to pull through the sand it is the best thing that we have found so far. It is GREAT at the zoo, on the boardwalk, at amusement parks, etc. We just took it to Sesame Place with the trailer attached and it was so easy to access all of our items. My boys ar 18 months old and they love it. Seatbelts are wonderful
Great wagon for a great price! Our 20 month old son loves it! Easy to pull/turn and has lots of room for the kids and storage (diaper bag). If you're looking to purchase a wagon, this is the one to get! We'll be using it for our trip to Hershey Park and the beach!
This thing is wonderful.......we wanted this wagon to put our children in and take them on walks but not wear them out. We have a great trail system here in our town and we love walking on it. We also frequent Magic Springs theme park and Crystal Falls water park in Hot Springs, AR and decided to take it for them there. This thing worked out amazingly......both my 6 yr old daughter and my 2 yr old son got in it and rode without any complaints. It's real hilly at the theme park and this thing pulled without any problems. Even loaded down with 90 lbs worth of kids and another 20 pounds of towels and stuff this thing pulled great. We got comments from everyone about how nice this wagon is and they wish they made one for adults. With the storage this thing has we even saved money from not having to get a locker to put our towels and stuff in. I can't say enough about this wagon.......drink holders for the kids and adults where full of drinks all day long. The Safari wagon made our trip just that much better and we hope to use it again and again.......
I really enjoyed pulling this safari wagon for my daughter to sit and watch like she was on a train ride. She enjoys it every minute and always ask if we are taking the wagon along with us.
It is a perfect for shopping with your toddler, taking a walk, especially the cup holder was a great idea for my daughter to reach her own cup in her wagon without me holding it for her.
We recently purchased for my 2 year old son. We took this wagon to a little league game and the top doubled as a table for the adults to set their soda and hotdogs. Then we went to the 4th of July parade. Again, everyone loved it and the top came in handy again for the adults to congregate around. Next we were off to the carnival and I can't even tell you how many people commented on it and asked where we bought it. We love this wagon! (Oh, and so does my son!)
We bought one for our friends daughter she loves it.
Now we bought a second for my godson... he loves the door that opens and shuts!! The parents enjoy it as much as the kids!!
Great Wagon!
The door doesn't work well at all. But the options; canopy, kids cup holder and safety belts are really nice. One thing is for sure my 17 mo old loves it. We use it for walks to the park.
We did a lot of research on wagons before deciding on this one. We are SO happy that we bought this one. Love that there is a canopy but REALLY love the fact that it's a hard top! The storage on top is great, as is the extra storage in the seat. Also love the seatbelts. Our 13-month old can easily get in and out, but it's great that there is also a sliding lock. He's also learned how to use the cup holder and to open and close the door. This wagon is great and we are having so much fun with it. Great job, Step 2!
I really was looking forward to getting this wagon. I did tons of research and looked at LOTS of wagons. My thinking was go big and get the best. I took the few negatives with a grain of salt and thought I made the best decision and waited very anxiously for our wagon. I needed something to take my 1 year old daughter back and forth to the pool in and for zoo trips etc...
The wagon came rather fast, but what was so disapointed was that it was missing so many pieces :-( I had a fit for my husband to put it to gether and when he came up and said it was missing the seat belts, wheel things and stuff for the canopy I was so upset. I actually told him to look harder b/c that could not be. Well anyway it was a friday and Step 2 is closed, but I left a message that was returned on Tuesday, not great but not awful. We had the parts in about 3 days just before we were leaving for vacation. It is very handy, we pack it up full, Paige loves it and sits in it very nicely. It is hard to turn and sometimes I worry I could flip it but in general I am happy. I think maybe we got a refurbished one or something it has a scratch on it which is no big deal but b/c it was missing stuff.....I wonder. We also got the trailer which is a nice little addition especially for the beach trips :-) All in all a good purchase just hit some bumps. I hope it lasts for years, but I am not so sure.
Good Luck!
Kris
Going to the pool!

We walk 5 miles to get our exercise but to also go swimming with our cousins in their lake and the wagon gives the baby more room than a stroller, plus it keeps the sun off of him, where the stroller still did not cover his entire body and he would still get a little too red. We also got the pull cart and it carries the extras with having 4 children, snacks, towels, drinks, and whatever else we need for the day. We all love this product!!!
Bought it so we could walk to the pool.
easy to pull
plenty of room
we put ice under the seat and use as an ice box.
we got the trailer which is great to put the wet clothes in after a day at the pool.
Perfect wagon and so much fun. I looked all around and finally bought this wagon. We are so happy with it and she loves to go riding in it. Well worth the money.
Easy for dad to put together. Daughter likes it. Less retrictive than a stroller.
Great fun, sturdy, many uses!
We Couldn't be Happier with the Wagon , my Son LOVES it !
I am a grandparent and was looking for something to last for a real long time. I looked around and thought that this wagon looked great. so now i own it and it is great. it holds alot of what i need to bring on a walk. and it is easy to store away until the next visit with the grandchildren.
