i use it to sit on since i have a very bad back and had one for years it was the solid one.the only reason why i had to buy a new one was i left it out in the arizona hot weather and it melted uner neath but i allways would buy one again that is the best product.had to look it up on the computer could not find one in stores anywhere.i was glad to find one on the internet on your site. thanks a million. I bought two, one for me and one for my 92 year old dad who still gardens. I replaced one I've had for over fifteen years. Loved it, but the kneeling cushion finally rotted from weather. (probably wouldn't have if I would of stored it inside more) I had actually inserted a [$]store kneeling cushion so I could still use it. But this new one is better looking and the handles are no longer wooden. Gentle on the knees and back for us all day gardeners!!

This bench saves my back and knees when I'm gardening, and I also use it indoors when I'm taping and painting. I'd give it 5 stars, but it bugs me that the pad falls out so easily when it's in the bench position. I can live with that, though.

The Garden Kneeler is sturdy. No fear that it will collapse like the folding type. You can leave it out in the rain or sun. Use it as an extra seat. Easy to carry from place to place. The velcro came off the bottom cushion at first, but a drop of Gorilla glue has kept the velcro doing its job perfectly for over a year. This Kneeler was a gift from my brother and I thank him every time I use it!

I absolutely love this bench. It's the perfect height for sitting. I use mine to sit on when picking back my flowers that I have in barrels. Also, I can't kneel down, so to sit and weed works great too. Love it!

Because of previous surgery to one leg, and a torn meniscus in the other knee, it is difficult to get down to a kneeling position to work with planting. It is even more difficult getting up from that position. The Step2 Garden Kneeler is perfect for this and allows me the dignity of rising to standing without struggling.

I love this bench, kneeler thingy... I use it in the garden, to sit / kneel on while I clean the house, as a bench next to the tub to give my dogs and children baths, and my parents are using it as a shower stool.

Have severe knee problems and cannot get up without help once in a kneeling position. This fills the bill perfectly, and its easy to carry around.

I purchased this item as a birthday gift for my mother. She has trouble getting up and down when she is gardening. This item has made it super easy for her to get up. No more rolling onto one side and bracing herself against the pain!

My dad has had both knees and both hips surgically replaced. This bench helps him get up from kneeling by using it upside down, or on his knees (bench is upright, and his belly is on it, and he's leaning over it), working in the garden, scrubbing floors, picking up small things off the floor (spilled nail, screws, etc). He bought his first one 5 yrs ago or so, and when I found it's still available, I bought two more so he has an indoor and outdoor one. Well worth the money as a gift for those with special needs around the house or yard..he would not be able to have the same freedom and comfort without it!

My only comment to improve the product would be to mark the side you kneel on, so that you do not accidentally kneel on the wrong side (which is raised and very uncomfortable when you kneel down on it). I've put stickers on the kneeling side so I don't make this mistake. My husband and I love the kneeler. We have two in the garden and one in the house.

This will last a life time.
Love the design and the durability. However, the cushion Velcro pieces were the same on seat and cushion and did not cling. Seat fell off and yardman ran over it with lawnmower before I noticed it.

the old step 2 in one piece was much durable. I dont like the legs they have bent when getting up from kneling I just hope they don't brake in constant use.
I own two garden kneelers. I love them. I couldn't garden without them.

I have recommended this kneeler/seat to several friends. It's perfect!

This is great for the older gardener who may need a little assistance to stand from a kneeling position. It is a very sturdy help as you can push yourself up easily with the side handles.

I bought thisfor my mom who has a bad hip and she loves it for in the house too! Uses it when she has to kneel to get things out of the lower cupboards etc!
I have used this product for more than two years. This seat is incredibly versatile. It's great in the garden, but also in the home. Back hurt when you clean the fridge? This seat is the perfect height. Also great for cleaning/searching under the sink, bottom cabinets in kitchen or bath. Great for seniors!
