New slim design looks great and is still large enough to meet your needs.

I like the ease of installation, but the magnets that hold the doors closed do not last very long.
I installed this mailbox last fall. Today is 4/24/08. I removed it from the 4x4 post today so I can clear the area around the base and plant flowers around it. I noticed it has an 8 inch crack inside where the post goes! It must have cracked through the winter cold.
I think it is a very durable and light weight mailbox that receives the mail well. I like the way it holds up to roadside abuse as well as its weather resistance. It is decorative and displays the address nicely.
The back flap of the paper box won't stay in.
It falls out with any wind at all.

I have had this mailbox for over 10 years and last night someone decided to try and move it. They hit it with their car, hard enough to knock it across the driveway and scatter my stones, that I had around it, all over the place. Thanks to the concrete, the 4 x 4 post and the indestructable plastic it will be put back up. There is about a 2 inch dent where the bumper hit it and it did stop the car, before they ran away. Great product.

A well designed and built mailbox with one exception which is the door that is to thinly made of a brittle plastic prone to breaking in the cold or to a vandal's hammer. A softer more rubbery type of materiel might work to stop this.
