This is a lovely bench which coordinates well with my two Step 2 sheds and my daughter's new Step 2 sand box. I wouldn't store seeds or fertilizer in the bench though. I made that mistake and, although my bags were still sealed, water got in and made the contents clumpy.

Easy to put together. I needed somewhere to put my son's back yard toys. This is perfect. I wanted to clean up the back patio before my husband came home from Iraq and the in-laws arrived for a visit. This was shipped in great time & I was able to put it together myself. We bought this because our boys love to move the garden chairs around and use them as ladders to get what they want.

This bench is too bulky for them to move, but light enough for me (9months pregnant) to move with ease.
It was super easy AND FAST to assemble. The material is very strong and durable. My husband is 6'5" tall and weighs 350lbs and the bench held him and me, no problem.

Only thing I wasn't too crazy about, is the lid to the storage area under the seat is not hinged. It simply slides into place and is very easy for little ones to open and climb in by themselves.
Other than that....ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! I'm thinking about buying another one.

I am very satisfied with this product.

As well as the yard with the swing sets, I have a large driveway the kids, 2 and 5, play in when they come over and the bench is great. It's up against a white picket fence with containers of flowers on each side. The storage holds balls, bats, etc. At first I'd wished the top of the storage area was connected but now realize I wouldn't want anyone to hide in there and get stuck on a hot Iowa day. It's attractive and two people can sit on it, holds 200 pounds each side. Great!

We use the bench to store the kids outside toys and we sit on it when we are outside watching the kids while they play. I feel like it is very sturdy although not as comfortable as a lawn chair. It provides and attractive place that the kids can store their toys away from the hot arizona sun when they are not playing with them.

Can't find anything negative to say about it, but a bit pricy. But, I guess overall, you get what you pay for. The Storage Bench was easy to assemble, durable, so far contents are dry during storms, kids jump on it and so far, still in one piece any other product, it would have already been distroyed by kids. Plus, it looks like it belongs in my backyard and holds all my gardening tools. Storage Bench is absolutely PERFECT for my needs.

This bench is the perfect way to store my two-year old's toys, and it's a great place to sit for me! I absolutely love the size and the look, as well as the construction. I highly recommend this storage bench, I have other step 2 products that have held up in the elements of south florida, I am sure this one will also. I had purchased several other storage benches that were hard to put together or the quality was JUNK!!! This one is GREAT QUALITY and VERY EASY to put together, under 30 mins by myself. The only thing I do not like is the way the bench part is attached, it just kinda slides into place, but doesn't have a slide for it to lock into, so when you pull it up to get into it you have to be careful not to pull it out to far, but I guess that has it's plus' too, like if you are storing larger items and need the extra room to get them in and out. Overall GREAT, I purchased 2 of them so far and will purchase more.

I got the Storage bench as part of new play equipment for my yard. The yards in my new home do not have fences and are in a somewhat "country" area. I wanted my new play area to blend in with the natural surroundings. This bench does just that, and there is room for me and couple of kids to read a book or just suggle.

I run a licensed home daycare and this storage bench coordinates perfectly with the Naturally Playful products. It holds all the outdoor toys (balls, sand toys, water toys, trucks, etc.) and also provides a great place for relaxing. The lid is lightweight enough for the kids to open, but has no pinching points to harm them. Great product, built to last!

I bought this for my Home daycare, we store toys in it so when it come to mowing you do not have to pick up the yard first and the balls are all in one place. I recommend that every house with kids get this bench. The only think that I with it had was that the lid was attached so how so that when the kids get in it, it will not fall off.
