Is sturdy and easy to put togeather. All the pieces do not line up exact when putting togeather. But still was not hard. Works great in laundry room to sit on and take your shoes off when you come in or put on when leaving. Great price. Overall, very satisfied.

During assembly of this product, the welds on a major structural part broke, making it impossible to assemble the product. It is likely, based on further investigation, that had it been possible to assemble this product, the welds would have broken once the product was in use. Most likely they would have broken after the warranty had expired. Do not waste your money. Poor quality. Poor design. Previous model from 1997 much more sturdy. Different design. No longer available.

We use this product in our Laundry Room/Mud Room to store and put on our outdoor "mud shoes". It is just what we were looking for to serve this purpose. The light weight facilitates moving it around in the room with no strain.

This is an extremely useful bench and it does exactly what I wanted it for. We store work gloves in the bench and sit on the bench to take off muddy shoes, which we can then store underneath!

With twin 5 yr old boys, we had too many shoes literally being kicked around the house. Purchased TWO of these, and the problem is solved! The boys put their shoes in the storage shelf and we stick ours on the bottom. One inside and one out, a great and sturdy solution. Thanks for another useful product, Step2!

I purchased this bench for our laundry/mud room. I'm very pleased by the overall product. It's very sturdy and it wasn't difficult to assemble. It looks in your home just as pictured online. A note - the storage area under the seat is a reinforced fabric. I was a bit surprised by this when it arrived, but I don't think that will be a problem for my purposes.[...] All in all, I think it's a good value from a great company!

We purchased two of these boot benches over 7 years ago at a local store and they still look brand new. We recently moved and I was lucky enough to find this web site because we need several more.
