Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

This kitchen is wonderful! The directions for assembly were easy to follow. Assembly was not difficult using only a regular screwdriver. I did have to exert a little more energy to screw the screws in though...which was expected. All the electronic pieces work as expected. The doors open and close easily without being flimsy or too loose. The accessories are cute and realistic as is the whole look of the kitchen. The decals were easy to apply and they look nice. It took less than a week from the time I ordered to the time I received the product! I believe my daughter will be able to enjoy playing with this product for several years! Happy Birthday to my little 2 year old!

Service & Delivery comments:

The electronic microwave sounds are awkward and unrealistic...I'm not sure how that can be fixed.
The stove sounds are a bit loud compared to the other sounds the product makes.
It would be nice if the "cabinets" had some sort of a lip on the inside to keep the plates and bowls in better. They tend to fall out if the doors are open and the kitchen is just lightly bumped.
Bigger cubbie holes/baskets would accomodate a little more play food. (I just removed some of the food and put it away! Less to pick up! lol)

I purchases this for my grand daughters 1st birthday. It was easy to asemble. My one year old grand daughter took to it right away. she casn't reach everything so as she gets taller she will have more to play with. My daughter calls to tell me that Mia (my grand daughter) always wants to play with it. I am glad I bought it.

There is nothing not great about it. Oh ya.. takes a lot of batteries.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

Overall, the kitchen is very well thought through. However, metal spatulas/cooking utensils and especially the noodle spoon is quite dangerous for a toddler moving around. He/she can stumble and hurt him/herself seriously.

Service & Delivery comments:

Change the cooking utensils to hard rubber plastics...just like what we have in the real kitchen.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

I purchased this kitchen for my 2 year old son and aswell for my daughter who is only 8 months but will be able to play with it in the future. We have had it for 3 weeks now and our son plays with it everyday, he loves it. It is very nice looking it actually matches the colors of our kitchen and living room decor. Very realistic looking and real sounds. The only complaints i have are that there were a lot of little pieces to put together and you really do need drill and not a hand held screw driver to get the screws into the plastic. Also I read that the appliances make noise when u push the buttons, this is true but not for all of them, the phone, microwave, and stove top burners are all that make noise and have buttons to push, the refridgerator and oven are just stickers, not buttons. But the other that do make noise are great and very realistic, the accessories are also very real and so cute. It doesnt come with play food but i found some at [...] for [$]. Overall a great buy and i am very pleased and our son loves to pretend cook.

Love, love, love this kitchen. My only complaint was that the holes for the screws were not open in the plastic so if you do not have an electric screwdriver or a drill you have to use all of your strength to drive a screwdriver through the plastic. If I had just one more hand, it would have been a lot easier to align all of the parts while trying to make the holes. In the end..my daughter loves it so I am happy.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

My daughter loves this kitchen she is beginning to have such an imagination while playing with it. The only compliant I can think of was the stickers, they weren't very stick & peeled straight off but Step 2 mailed me new ones after I contacted them.

Service & Delivery comments:

Please consider putting stickers on products before shipping so they are always lined up, and using a stronger adhesive. Most children playing with your products will peel a sticker if it is already coming off.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

This kitchen is fantastic. I did throw away the metal collander, spatula, spoon, and especially the pasta spoon. Even if you have the most calm, well mannered child, they could fall and hurt his/herself if they fell onto these utensils. I cannot believe they are selling this kitchen with these utensils. I'm shocked there hasn't been a recall. They are an accident waiting to happen. Great kitchen, but throw these items away.

Great product for multiple young ones. There is space enough for both my 2 and 3 yr old to play but it is not a monster in our small living room. They love the stove light. The only problem is with the phone. The holder is too wide and the phone keeps falling off.

My children have not yet received this item, it was purchased as a Christmas gift. The assembly was terrible and the quality was not what I expected from a Step 2 product. The cupboard doors (which come attached) are bent and don't close properly. Further, other pieces that need to be put on, for example, the "spice rack" don't fit properly.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

My two-year-old loves this kitchen. She plays with it most days and likes cooking for mommy and daddy. I did buy play food for her to use with it, but most of the time she doesn't even use it. She likes to cook while I'm cooking so it keeps her entertained. The only complaint I have is that we've only had it a year with gentle use (only child) and the stickers on the top, where my daughter can't even reach, are peeling off and the "countertops" seem to be a bit sunken, or caved in. I don't think the counters were like that when we assembled it. My daughter doesn't seem to mind, though. All in all, its a nice kitchen and my daughter loves playing with it.

Step2 Response: Thank you for taking the time to complete the review. Please contact us directly at 800-347-8372 for replacement stickers and assistance.

Just bought for my 2 year old son. My 5 year old loves it too! I am happy with the quality and design, it seems nice and sturdy! It did come missing one part but I called and it's on it's way. Assembly was by no means easy but I got through it 9 months pregnant with the help of my mother. Took about 1 1/2 to put together. Make sure to have an electric screwdriver on hand and lots of AA and AAA batteries. Also clean any dust off the product before applying stickers to help adhere. All in all great kitchen, I was hesitant to pay that amount but it was worth it and I am sure it will be around for years to come.

My 2 year old daughter got this kitchen from her Grandparents for her birthday. She LOVES it. So much so that she poured her juice into the pan and "cooked" it. Well in the process she ruined the burner. I called the company to get a replacement part. I got an actual person, who was so very nice. I was not put on hold.. They had the part in stock and even gave it to us free of charge since we had only had the kitchen for 3 weeks! I will recommend this company to anyone who asks and will buy Step 2 products forever. I am so pleased with the product and as a busy mom- the fast, friendly and efficient customer service.

My two year old granddaughter received the kitchen for her birthday. The joy of her face was priceless. She needed no introduction to any of the features. She and her four year old cousin began playing with it at once. Her ten year old cousin commented that she would have liked a similar kitchen when she was younger. The accessories were great. All four children were occupied for hours.

Great product. A little hard to put together. The piece on the backsplash that holds the bottles in place does not fit very well with the design...we had to leave it mostly un-screwed. My 2 year old loves this kitchen and spends most of her time playing with it.

I just want to say that we are delighted to have this product. It is everything we expected and even better. The details, accessories, and design all make this kitchen a great addition to our son's toy collection.I know he will have hours of fun playing and learning thanks to this product.
I also want to say how wonderful the assembly directions are. Though it does take a couple of hours to put together, there are no questions on how to do it. And the price is very reasonable for all the parts and fun gadgets of this incredible toy.
If only I had had a toy like that when I was growing up!

My parents and I put this together for my daughter (it was a gift from Grandparents and aunts/uncles) on her 2nd birthday. The only cofusion came with the screws - there were 2 types of screws of the same length and it didn't seem clear in the directions as to which ones should be used where (we eventually figured it out). My daughter loves her kitchen and enjoys cooking for us. I expect her to get a lot of enjoyment over the years to come.

This was given as a gift to my daughter for her 2nd B-day. It was the first thing she opened (we had previously put together). She would not open another gift. All the children at the party wanted to play with it. Big hit with kids from 2-10. Very realistic to the child. Pretty durable. The edges on the handles of fidge, etc could be molded or smoother but other then that and the Assembly time - it is a great imagination toy.

I have 2yr old twins (boy and girl) and this was their 2nd birthday gift. They love it and becasue of the color, it´s perfect for either boys or girls. I have it next to my refrigerator and the breakfast table, so they pretend to cook at the same time I'm cooking and it's a good way for me to keep an eye on them. The assembly was easy, but it's time consuming since it comes with about 100 screws. Overall, I highly recommend it, it's small in size, but very complete. Sound effects are very cool as well.

I was very excited about this toy for my 2 & 1/2 year old from the start and have not been let down.
We got this for her for Christmas and it soon became her favorite toy. Her cousins, who range from 1&1/2 to 7, also enjoy playing with it when they come over. We bought separate food for it which as added to the fun.
Assembly is easy enough. All you need is a power screw driver and a steady hand to apply the stickers.
Everything in this kitchen works well.

This is perfect for our 2 1/2 year old and our 5 year old of course loves it too. It is easy to assemble since there are clear, well written directions and great pictures, but there are a LOT of parts to put together. I'm pretty good at this stuff but it took me nearly 2 hours (with a power screwdriver). I can't imagine how you'd do it with a manual one! Definitely something you don't want to start at midnight on Christmas Eve!

I have had this kitchen for over a year now. It's very cute, however there isn't much storage. If they didn't make the counters extend approx 3 inches on each side, there could have been a lot more room. The only nice sound effects is the burner. The microwave buttons only kind of beep, that's about it. The kids do enjoy it, but I am looking for a different one now, maybe Little Tikes.

My 2 1/2 year old loves this kitchen. We purchased additional food and toy appliances to go with it so it makes it more fun for her. The clock doesn't stay on correct time which is annoying when you're trying to teach things to a small child. The cooking sound on the stove also goes off on it's own without any one playing with it. Overall, a great product and would buy the bigger one next time now that I know she'll play with it.

We purchased this for my son's 2nd birthday. He really enjoys it. We play with it almost every day, making different food (we also have the Step2 Food Kit). He also really likes the utensils that came with it.

My husband did not have any complaints about putting it together. Though he did complain that the sink doesn't make any noise when pushed -- that seemed to be highlighted in the description online.

Oh, and my son LOVES the box the kitchen came in.

I like this product a lot. My two young children love to cook for us! Its attractive and comes with lots of accessories. It's only drawback is that many children cannot play at once. It is very jammed together. When I was a kid , all the appliances were bigger on play kitchens, that would also take up alot of space too I guess. Its fun!

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

My son was so excited to receive this kitchen. He is 2 and saw a picture before he got it and loved it. He was really excited when he got it and has enjoyed playing with it. The kitchen is easy to put together, but you need a drill to drill the screw holes b/c they are not already punched. No big deal though. The kitchen assembled together nicely and my wife and I did not run into any problems. I would definitely recommend this kitchen.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

I have owned (and used) this product for 5 months. This is a very nice-looking product, I must say that. The accessories that come with it, such as the utensils and pots and pans are very good quality. Some drawbacks to it though are in the overall construction of the toy. While I understand that NO toy is perfect, for the money that I paid for this thing - it's not good at all. The structure is flimsy - the contertops can be pushed in (dented in) with the touch of a finger tip, and the overhead light only works some of the time and is only held on with two screws and so it's very loose as well. Over all, I wouldn't reccommend this product because of its poor construction, especially if it is going to be receiving every day ware and tear from small children!

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

Had to fight my son off of it until I had finished assembly, he was so excited.
DEFINITELY use an electric screwdriver, it will cut your assembly time in half. I did not have one, so between keeping the 2 year old away, and screwing in the LOOOOONG screws it took a few hours.
Still not completely finished, need 4 more batteries, but LOVE the way it looks. Definitely a good value for the price.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

I bought this product directly from Step 2. I would recommend that to anyone because htey are great if something goes wrong. I bought this for my 18 month old son and had it put together by myself before my husband came home, the directions were easy to follow. I chose this kitchen because I didn't know if our son would like to play with it so I didn't want it to take up too much room in our house. It is very cute but I wish that I had gotten the deluxe model it is not that much bigger and has more room to store the accessories. The pots and pans that came with it were cute but it would have been nice to have some play food other than the scices it came with. If you have a really small space I would recommend choosing this kitchen but otherwise consider investing in a bigger model because it is rather small.

Our daughter got this kitchen for her birthday, last June. By September the microwave quit working. Now the phone doesn't work anymore. I have read some of the reviews about the light and so far it has been fine. The clock is kind of a pain to change the time, but it works fine so far. A cordless drill helps in the process of getting it together. I started by hand and quickly changes to a drill.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

We bought this as a gift from the Easter Bunny. My 2 year old daughter started ooohing and ahhhing as soon as she saw the picture on the box. She "helped" us put it together and kept saying "mommy make it pretty as I put the stickers on" She helped daddy run the drill (which was a first since it usually scares her when we drill) From the box to the put together item we were thrilled. Would have been nice if the holes would have been predrilled...but oh well. After putting batteries in the clock, and after putting batteries in the keypad for the microwave we found out that they didn't work and that we were missing 2 small screws to put the door knobs on. I called Step 2 this morning and they kindly sent out replacements for what we had problems with. The young lady that I talked to was wonderfully nice, and answered all my questions and got things shipped out. This is the first Step 2 product we have purchased, and I can guarantee after this experience we will purchase more in the future, we are very loyal to companies that are easy to deal with.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

I bought this product for Christmas so I assembled it a day before Christmas Eve so it could be set up for Christmas. The assembling part can get difficult as I did it on my own. At first I was scared to use the electric screw driver because you won't be able to do it with a regular screw driver but I then got over it. What is great about this product is that my daughter loves to spend time playing with it. The thing that wasn't so great was the overhead light as I read in another review the light goes out quick and I also used good brand batteries at first turning the light on was difficult you'd have to press the button a couple of times and it was well screwed and then after not even a week the light went out and that was without leaving it on for hours just on and off. I haven't had the chance to switch the batteries out and see if that's it. Overall, this product is great and I would recommend it if you want a little break.

Bought this for Xmas for my son; when we opened the box on Xmas eve to put it together the clock was broken. Seeing as it was Xmas eve, we could not call the company. [...] Also, the overhead light is already not working-probably the batteries. DS RARELY uses the light so I can't see why the batteries would die so soon (they were good ones). I wouldn't have spent so much money on this. A tad overpriced, IMO.

This play kitchen was a gift for our 16 month-old daughter. I am impressed with the detailing of the kitchen set & all the accessories that are included. My daughter plays with the kitchen but not as much as I had expected. At this time she likes to put the pan on the burner to hear the sounds and likes moving the accessories around (putting them in the baskets, taking them out, putting them in the refrigerator, taking them out again, putting them in the oven, taking them out, and so on). I am hopeful that when she is a little older she will play with it more. I am very satisfied with the quality of the kitchen and anticipate that she will play with it for several years. I think it will be a great toy for imaginative and group play.

We bought this for our 18 month little girl. She is having so much fun playing with it. The assembly was a little difficult because the holes are not pre-drilled. I think that the border on the kitchen should be a little fun. Kind of boring.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

My 18 month old son received this for Christmas and loves to cook. He likes the sounds that the phone, microwave and stove make. The only con is that he is not tall enough to put the phone on the receiver - which really bugs him. He also has trouble getting things in and out of the microwave, but he will grow into it.

Also, the second hand on the clock ticks, but it stays at the same time as when we first set the clock. I will be buying some food accessories and other things that he is more familiar with at this age.

They sent us a new microwave pad very very fast! We will be buying one of these kitchens for Grandma's house to!

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

My 2 year old daughter and I love playing with this kitchen! She especially loves all the realistic noises (the microwave, phone and the sounds of sizzling food and boiling water). The decals were super easy to put on (and even came off easily when I placed one incorrectly). There are only 3 shortcomings to this kitchen. First, it lacks a sound of running water. The first time my daughter played with it, she kept pressing the faucet and seemed disappointed that nothing happened. Second, it could use a little more storage space. Since the kitchen only comes with 2 pans, we bought the dining room set, but now have a hard time making it all fit. Many of the dishes spend a lot of time in the sink... Third, is that the sink could really use a drain decal. Not a big deal at all, but it would just make it that much more realistic.

the only thing I am not pleased with is you don't get much realistic foods, like eggs.. bacon.. things that little kids eat normally.. instead of the boxes they give, my daughter can't read yet, so she has no idea what to do with them.. for the money you do pay, you should get more..
other than that one thing, love the kitchen, I have 3 kids, ages 9, 3 1/2 and 20 months, and I think my older boys have played with it just as much as my daughter!! they love it!

My kids (ages 2 and 1) are having a ball with the kitchen set! They play with it non-stop. They are more creative with their playtime now too. The only reason I did not give this product a 5 is because it is lacking storage for the extra accessories that were bought for the kitchen set. We purchased play food and a cute pot set - both are difficult to squeeze into the cabinet space. Also, the refridgerator shelves are slanted so everything tends to fall out of it. Otherwise this is a super kitchen set!

This is clearly our 19 month old's new favorite toy. It is well built, durable and compact. It packs a lot of activity into a reasonable footprint. The toy cellphone is a nice extra, keeps our child entertained and is realistic enough to distract her from playing with ours.
Only downside is the assembly time, it was not difficult, just long but expected given the detail and number of accessories.

I gave this kitchen for my granddaughter for Christmas. She is almost 2 years of age. I was more inclined to buy a wooden kitchen but my daughter wanted this one for the noises the kitchen makes. I am glad I listened to her.
My granddaughter loves this kitchen and especially all the noises it makes. She loves pressing the buttons on the microwave and listening to the sounds. The little phone is fun for her too since it also makes sounds. Placing the frying pan on the front jet makes noise too. She loves to get the cutlery out of the drawer. I do find that the drawer comes completely out a little too easy. Fortunately my granddaughter can place it back herself.
The kitchen is durable and a lot of fun.

We gave this kitchen to my daughter a few days before Christmas since we would be traveling for the holidays. 2 of her friends came over, and they all had so much fun playing with this kitchen! It is realistic and there are so many things to play with! The only complaint I have about this product is that the stainless steel spatula has a sharp piece of metal on it. I like this product for a few reasons but especially that it was made in America. My daughter loves it. The only problem is that the assembly was not so easy and often the screws didn't line up or you had to make your own holes. It would have been much easier if there were pre-drilled holes. Also the pepper mill handle broke off immediately. One person could not do this alone. Overall I am very happy with the product.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

I gave this kitchen to my 18 month old son for a Christmas gift. He made a beeline for this kitchen and couldn't be bothered to open any other gifts! I thought he would just enjoy opening and closing the cabinets, etc., and playing with the spice bottles (which he's obsessed with in the real kitchen). However, I was surprised to find him actually pretending to put things in the microwave, rinsing his dishes, and sprinkling pretend salt on his dishes. This is a very well made, sturdy kitchen. It takes a bit of assembly, but it's simple. It's got a lot of real working features like the microwave, light, telephone and stove. The accessories were enough to really play with, without buying extras. It was a great value for the money! My son loves it.

Our son (3 yrs) and daughter (19 mos) both love to play with "her" new kitchen. They have made the best soups, breakfasts and cakes for us. Even though assembly took some time, it was well worth the effort. Kitchen as lots of fun accessories (esp. cute mini cooking utensils - they are just like Mommy's) and great sound effects. I would highly recommend this one over some cheaper models with less bells and whistles.

I recommend this to other parents looking for a space saving kitchen set that provides everything your child could want

I am glad my husband put the kitchen together the week before Christmas and hid it in the basement. It did take about 2 hours to assemble with the stickers alone taking 45 minutes but the outcome is beautiful. Glad we had a power screw driver but we still had to run out to the store to get a smaller screw driver for the burner. My 16 month old daughter received this for Christmas yesterday and absolutely enjoys playing with it and did not go into mommy's kitchen all day long (which was the point)! The sound effects are perfect and it had a very realistic look to the kitchen set. We bought separate food to use with it and she is so excited. I can see many hours of endless play ahead!

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

We bought this kitchen sight unseen based on our positive experience with other Step 2 products. We were very disappointed! It looks like there would be a lot of storage space, but the cupboard, etc. are tiny and the "wicker" baskets are non-functional for any kind of real storage. My daughter's food & pan set (she doesn't even have the "big" sets!) wouldn't fit in it! After talking to a couple of other parents who own a Step 2 plastic kitchen, they all said lack of storage was their biggest complaint. All said they stored the food/accessories in a separate place, not in the kitchen itself. With limited space at our house, we wanted a "self-contained" kitchen. We actually returned this item & purchased a wood kitchen that had A LOT more storage and was the same size!. It's a shame, b/c we have been very satisfied with Step 2 products in the past.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

We bought this for our granddaughter and found it relatively easy to put together. It took us 2 1/2 hours total. She's going to get it for Christmas and we can't wait to use this kitchen with her. It looks so much more expensive than it was, but we thought that it was a great value for the money. We know she will get many years of playtime out of it, with her mommy and daddy, as well as us, her grammy and grampy. The only thing that is a problem is the clock doesn't keep the correct time. Brand new batteries were used, so the clock is defective. I don't think a toddler cares about the time anyway!!!

This is a great kitchen. Although it did take about 2 hours to assemble. I would reccomend an electric screw driver, I found it difficult to drill through the plastic. The clock and light were broken, so that was a little frustrating. All in all, a great product. My daughter plays for hours.

My parents bought this for my daughter for her 3rd birthday. It took my mother and me 1 hour to put it together using an electric screwdriver and then it took me about 30 minutes to put on the stickers. Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

I really liked this kitchen when I first saw it at the store. When I got it home I found that you need an electric screw driver to put it together. So I had to borrow one from a friend. ALSO I put this together by my self, but I think with two people you can do it in a fraction of the time. My kids love it. The only down fall is the stickers, I wish the toy had more features not just fake stick on ones. Overall my kids like it.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

What a nice kitchen. Our 15 month old son had access to another company's kitchen at daycare. He loved using it. So we looked around to find one for our home. I am very glad we chose the Partytime kitchen. While we thought it was a little too busy (too many stickers), the nice thing, was we just did not put some of the trim stickers on and that solved the problem. When our son is older we can add them then. He loves playing with it. It is certainly a toy that will be used and reused as he gets older and even understands more what it is. Very glad we bought it.

We purchased this kitchen for our 2 year old niece. She loves it! From the moment she got it...she hasn't stopped playing with it. And we've enjoyed her playing with it too. Although we live a few hours way, when we phone (usually during our lunch hour) we always get yummy meals prepared in a flash...like macaroni and banana (creative chef...what can I say!). Whatever is on the menu for the day, we enjoy it because it allows our niece to interact with us...even from far away.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

This is a great kitchen. Took a little while to put it together, but my 15 month old daughter loves it! She loves that the phone, light and microwave works. We are missing the burner piece, but it suppose to be shipped to us this week. She can't reach the microwave yet so we have to help her with that, but it's a good toy to grow into. The only thing I would have added is electronic sounds to the faucet and the water dispenser on the fridge.

My two year old son absolutely loves his kitchen! He plays with it at least once a day. I have it set up in the kitchen so while I'm cooking he is too! He loves to make us meals. Even when his cousins who are older come to visit they enjoy playing with it too. It was a perfect Christmas gift and I'd recommend to all children (boys & girls) at any age under 10. My 13 year old niece put it together so it was even difficult to assemble. And I was amazed at all the food, pots and dishes it came with! A great toy!

We bought this for my 2 1/2 year old daughter for Christmas. She LOVES it. We play with it everyday and she can't seem to get enough. Everything is so realistic, even the clock really works. The only con is the assembly. There are so many parts it takes a while to put together and is kind of complicated. We chose this one over the lifestyle deluxe because we could not find this one in the store, so it would be different from all her friend's kitchens. So far it has been a hit with everyone!

This kitchen was very easy to assemble, great directions, decals went on easily. I purchased this kitchen for my 2 and 3 year old grandaughters and they absolutely love it.The only thing I would like to see changed is the metal utensils. The spot-welds on two of the handles broke loose and I promptly discarded them. Plastic ones like the forks, spoons, and knives would be much better. Other than that GREAT product!

Step2 Response: The spot-welding issue on the accessories has been corrected, and replacements can be obtained by calling 1-800-347-8372.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

My 3 year old son loves his kitchen. The electronic features (light, stove, phone, clock) are so neat. He loves to make meals just like mommy. I would recommend buying some food to go with the kitchen so there is more to play with. But other than that it is a great product for the money spent. Because of the colors it is a neutral gender item which is great because most of the kitchens out there are more for girls not boys. Great Item!!

Our 2 year is a good height for this kitchen and it fits in well with our decor. My husband had it together in one evening [...]. The baskets are really cute and the phone is one of her favorites. I wouldn't say this kitchen is very well built, but you'd probably have to say that about all of the kids kitchens on the market. We did a lot of research before settling on this kitchen and we have no regrets with our decision to purchase.

This great for your preschooler (3 and up), it's at a great level where they can reach everything. The microwave buttons are a favorite in my house. My daughter loves to cook on the stove and it even makes noise. The phone on the side is cool and always played with when cooking. This product comes with mini metal utensils, mini pot holder and other cool items needed for cooking, plus a clock that ticks. The kitchen is a bit wider, and more durable and sturdier than Dora's Kitchen (we have that also). Dora's kitchen has a oven, refrigerator, stove and sink. This product has the same but more sturdier and more room for your child's imagination for growth with cooking. [...] This is a great kitchen for our future top chefs where there imagination grows.

Great product, assembly was not difficult although may want to have it together before toddler sees it,my 2 yr old was a little impatient and wanted to help put on the stickers. loved the "cooking sounds" The only thing that need to be improved is the clock, the bracket that it came with didn't really keep it in place and the clock really works which is good and bad, if you accidently set the alarm on it it is loud. But I am completely pleased with the product and would recommend to anyone.

My daughter loves this kitchen and plays with it everyday! The only complaint is that the stove goes off by itself sometimes, even when there is no pot on it! We joke with our daughter that she forgot to turn the stove off and she runs over to turn it off. It's a minor complaint compared with how incredible this kitchen is. It is worth every penny!

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

My daughter has so much fun cooking in her kitchen. She pretends to wash her hands, heat things up in the microwave, cook pizza in the oven, cook on the stove burner (one of her favorites) and then serves her dad and I food and coffee - it is so cute! She also loves turning on the light and talking on the phone. I love all the realistic features and accessories. I did take the metal utensils away, though, because she would put them in her mouth and walk around which i didn't feel was safe. She is now 27 months so I might give them back to her in a few more months. The only accessory we bought for the kitchen was more food since it doesn't come with much. The extra food really enhances how she plays with the kitchin so I would highly recommend doing so [...].This kitchen has provided hours of fun and is so cute and realistic looking - we love it!

It was a Santa's gift. My 2 years old girl enjoy preparing food for all the family. She likes to be seated on the stool. She can be ther for hours. The only thing that I do not like is the kitchen accesories. The cook spoons did not last a week. The handle separated from te spoon, and it can be very dangerous.

I bought this kitchen for my 18 mth. old twins (boy and girl) for Christmas. They love it. It takes alittle while to put togeather but its not hard. The only problem I had was the real quarts clock they put in there did'nt work but other then that we've had no problems. And believe me my kids PLAY hard and this kitchen can take it. I know we'll get a few years of fun out of this one.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

My daughter received this kitchen as a present from her grandparents and she loves it! I have it in our kitchen and she cooks when I am cooking. The extra counter space is great for "meal prep" work. The only thing I wished it had, was running water sounds when you press the faucet. Besides that, it is well worth the price! The quality cannot be beaten!

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

This is a great kitchen. I looked at many kitchens before deciding on this one, including some wood kitchens with no electronics. But, my daughter loves the electronics, so I'm glad we got this one. The stove top sizzles, the phone buttons make noise, the microwave beeps and makes different noises. There are lots of doors on the kitchen, so there's both a lot of storage space to keep the kitchen neat when not in use, and a lot of things for kids to do since they can take things in and out of every space.

Anytime we have kids over to play, every child ends up playing with this kitchen for awhile.

I also like that it's not too obnoxiously colored. We actually have this right next to our kitchen, but I don't think it sticks out like a sore thumb in our house.

The only downside was putting it together. Step2 does nothing for you - you have to screw every hole (you MUST have a drill - it would be impossible with a screwdriver - because they only place a little circle where the hole should go but do not screw any holes for you), put every sticker on it (and there are a lot), etc. It's a lot of pieces. It took my husband and I a good hour and a half to do it. Plus, it takes quite a few batteries. And the clock seems to eat up batteries fast, since it works and even has an alarm, so we don't replace them there.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

Shipping was quick.
My kids really love it, especially my 1 year old daughter.
There's plenty of doors to put stuff, but they aren't deep enough to hold very much.
The drawer for the silverware is a great idea.
The clock is a really nice touch, as is the light over the "stove".
The sounds are nice in that they go for a short time and turn off by themselves.
It just looks nice which is good since it's in our living room.

My husband and I were looking for the perfect kitchen for our daughter and it didn't take long to realize that the Party Time was it! The three levels make it perfect when she has friends over to play. She loves the realistic sounds it makes. It was very easy to put together which was a plus for mom and dad. We also recently added the Cooking Essentials stools which allows her to sit just like grown ups do at her kitchen bar!

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

At Christmas time, we decided that we would get our toddler son a kitchen set. Of course, there are many choices from a variety of companies. We were looking for something gender neutral, with lots of storage, and opportuities for dramatic play (not too many electronic componants guiding the play). We narrowed it down to a couple by Step 2, and one by Little Tikes Many of the Step 2 kitchens are similar, the only difference is the size and/or location of objects in the kitchen. Funny enough, I think the spice rack is what pushed us over to the Party Time kitchen - and who doesn't love a party!? It was easy to assemble, and all of the pieces were included and fit correctly. The stickers were also easy to place, and have stayed stuck for several months so far. It came with a few items to get started cooking, and we added lots of wooden food from another company. Both my two year old and six year old sons play with this kitchen on a regular basis. Nice job Step2.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

My expectations were definitely met with this product. It was easy to set up and my children love playing with it because it looks exactly like my kitchen, other kids that visit also love it because it has everything. The only thing I don't like are the metal accessories, 3 of them have broken from where they are melded and that can be very dangerous. Fortunately, step 2 has replaced them but I hope they change the way they're made in the future.

Step2 Response: Yes, the manufacturing process has been corrected!

Great kitchen for my little girl. She is a little short to reach the cupboards, but nothing like a step stool to resolve that.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle PartyTime Kitchen:

I originally had purchased another brand at a local toy superstore. When my husband and I went to put that item together there were 16 pieces missing! I have loved my Step 2 sand and sea, so I started researching all the kitchens. I decided on the party time kitchen because of it's style and size. It arrived direct from Step 2 in 3 days and was very easy to put together. I also love the fact that the detailing was stickers. I decided since one of my 3 children using this is a boy not to put on all the decorative stickers. It looks great. They all can play at one time and I'm so happy with this purchase I decided to write a review.
