My 4 year old son loves his new desk! And he's not usually that impressed with things that don't light up and make noise! We had been looking for something sturdy, able to store a lot of things, and most importantly, WASHABLE, for him to do his art activities. I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on it though and I wanted something that would be easy to move from room to room and something that wasn't totally an eyesore (not that this goes perfectly with my famiy room decor, but there are things more hideous than this).This Art Master Activity Desk is perfect for our needs. I actually got mine second hand & would recommend it to everyone.
I had looked at it online, but was concerned that my 5 year old who happens to be very tall would not fit comfortably sitting at it. As luck would have it, I found one second hand & found that I had no worries-she fits just fine & still has room to grow (she's 49 inches tall, size of a 7 year old in case anyone needs a point of reference).
She loves having all her "stuff" in one place...and so does her mommy!

I bought 2 activity desks, one for my 4 years old and one for my 2 year old. They both love this product. They sit down and pretend that they are playing school and it gives my 2 year old a place to practice drawing other then our walls. I would recommend this product to anyone with young chilren.

I love the rounded corners and the stability of this product. I bought it for the chair. My grandson is 18 months old and he does well with it. It is sturdy and it won't collapse on him. My 11 year old grand-daughter got this same product as a christmas gift at age 4. And she still has and uses the chair. It took me awhile to track down that it was a step2 product. It's the best chair for a younster out there. But I and the little guy are very happy with both. And my grand-daughter she's not ready to relinquish her chair either...it still looks new. Great product.

My daughter is 3 and absolutely loves this. It's small enough for her, yet big enough that she won't outgrow it too quickly. I love that the colors blend in at my house and aren't gaudy and bright like so many other plastic toys. Step 2 plastic feels so much thicker and durable than other plastics. Worth every penny.

I purchased this desk for my Granddaughter's 2nd birthday and she and her parents could not be happier with this product. She is a tall 2 year old and the height of the desk and chair are perfect for a toddler her size! The only drawback is the light. We wish that we had the ability to set it to remain lighted longer or until turned off - timmer setting is too short.She really loves her desk and I am told she uses it daily! A Great buy and a Great Product!Overall, this is a wonderful desk for a tall toddler. Very Stable and we like the fact that the chair does NOT fold.[...]

I,ve been looking for the perfect desk for my two year old who loves to color and draw. This desk is perfect. It has plenty of storage pockets for all of her crayons, markers, coloring pencils, and more. The side bins are alot bigger than they look and now hold all of her coloring and sticker books. The dry erase board is great so that if she slips I can just wipe it clean unlike a wooden desk. Its the perfect size for her and will grow with her for at least 4 more years. Now mommy can have her desk back for school work. lol.

Purchased for my daughter's 2nd birthday. We were a little concerned it may be too big, she is very petite. She LOVES it! I must admit the crayons stray off the paper at times but she hasn't made a mark we haven't been able to VERY easily clean with wet paper towel or cleaning wipe. The storage is great and she loves the light so we purchased an adaptor at our local electronics store so we could plug it in and not need batteries. Another Step2 product we love!

I bought this desk for my 5 yr old , he started kindergarten this year, and I dont remember getting homework in Kindergarten but he gets alot! We struggled to get it done every afternoon, now that I bought the desk he looks forward to doing it. He likes to feel like a big kid doing his homework at his desk...and he loves to spend time coloring and painting!!! Great Item!

As a doting grandma, I wanted a place where my granddaughter could sit and feel like a "big girl!" She loves her desk, but always ask for me to turn on another light.....that desk light is just too dim. Didn't anyone test this before they started to manufacture it? I think you need to have a product testing group....mostly moms and grandmas!

This is a great desk! We bought this for my two year old son for Christmas! He loves it! He sits and colors for hours! It's a great place to store coloring books, crayons, even small toys. Bought this for my five year old's birthday. She loves it. She can sit for hour's with all her stuff and just color, paint, cut, glue, etc. We had thought about getting her a more expensive desk that would match her furniture. This is so much better because it was so affordable that we don't worry about it getting messed up by paint, glue, etc. Really a great thing, wish we would have bought it years ago.

My 19 month old daughter loves her desk. She really loves turning on and off the light. Lots of storage but she's not old enough to use the marker and crayon storage area just yet. She will grow into it. My only change would be to add some sort of clip at the top of the desk to hold her coloring pages in place. She has a lot of room for small and large coloring books but one page would keep her more focused but she out-smarted the scotch tape trick. Easy enough to assemble. I am very pleased with Step 2 products and try to buy things Made in the USA for my daughter. Most of her big toy items are Step 2 and they are all a big hit. [...]

We love this! Just bought for my 17 month old son. He climbs on it, and it doesn't wiggle or move! He is learning to sit in chair, but kneels in it for now! Chair is light enough for him to carry, but legs are set wide enough not to topple too easily when he begins to climb!
Cleans up easily--even crayon!
Was nervous about putting together after reading other reviews, as I only have manual screwdriver. It took me less than 35 minutes to put together. Took some elbow grease, but was easy! Pieces fit well, nothing but happy with both products I've gotten so far.
Can't beat price for something so sturdy that will suit my child for several years to come!

This is a perfect art/activity desk! It keeps things so organized and has lots of room for all sorts of artistry equipment. My daughter loves it! The only thing I noticed as a con: crayon marks don't come off the chair or desk very easily. I seem to have taken off some paint before I could get the crayon mark off, which was slightly disappointing. The chair has a rough texture and the crayon marks really stick to it.

This product was very easy to assemble and is easy to keep clean. The only thing I would hope is improved on it is the light. It is VERY dim. Other than that I think it's fine. My daughter loves it.

Overall I really like the product. My one complaint is that the holes were not predrilled. It wasn't difficult to drill them, but it was a pain after being prepared to only screw in a few screws and not have to drill per the directions. My two year old daughter really enjoys it.

We got this for my 4 year old for his birthday and he loves it. I was tired of constantly taking out all his art stuff to the kitchen table. This keeps everything contained and is the perfect size for him. The only thing I don't like about it is that there are too many small, shallow places to put the art items. It would be nice if the spaces were fewer, bigger and deeper to put scissors, glue and paints in so that they don't fall every time the desk is bumped.

It helps my peschool son to practice his writing, coloring, and cutting to make crafts like in school. He will get it next month for his birthday. I am so excited to get it for him. I love the light that is over it also. He is always wanting for lights in our living room.

I got this desk for my two year old daughter. She was very impatient while waiting for us to put it together though because she wanted to play with it. She likes the light on the desk. She doesn't have alot of supplies for it yet since she's only two, but as she gets older, she will have lots of places to put her art supplies. She does like the spaces for books on each side of the desk and put her books there as soon as the desk was put together. Being the little climber that she is, she likes to climb on top and sit on it, but she does that with her little helpers kitchen and toybox too. I would recommend this to anyone with a child age 2 to 9 who want a nice desk for their girl or boys room.
I love this product I bought it for my 2 1/2 yr old grandaughter its a little big and she has to stretch to reach the top shelf and has to stand to draw and paint comfortably but she loves it. very sturdy and easy to assemble will grow with her and she will get many years of enjoyment from it.

I bought this for my 4 y/o son for Christmas with hopes to increase his interest in learning to read/write and prepare for kindergarten. It's only been a few weeks and my mission is accomplished! This product is fairly easy to assemble, and very sturdy! It is larger than a lot of other "drawing desks" we looked at. Very worth the money as well. My 6 yr. old is always drawing, gluing, etc. so it is great for all of his art projects! The size is actually great...not too small, not too big. It has a lot of storage areas as well, which is a plus! Would def. recommend this to all of my friends!

When I tried to put the desk together I was surprised to find screws. The directions say to use the screws in the drilled holes, there are not any drilled holes in the product.

We love the product. Set up was easy and our 2 1/2 kid loves it. He now sits on it to draw and read and move his chair anywhere in the house to sit on it. The whole piece is not heavy to move around and makes it easy to set anywhere. Plenty of space for storage to help my kid to organize his stuff.
Very helpful and good choice to teach toddlers a place to learn and have fun at the same time.
