My kids are 3 and 2 and they love this art center. They can do lots of different stuff with it. It was great that we didn't have to assemble anything, but the boards wouldn't stay on so I called and they sent 2 new boards and plastic things that snapped into the holes that we drilled which actually make it stay better than the sticky stuff. The customer service was excellent also. Love the product!!!

Love that it is foldaway. Another great feature is having both a marker board and chalk board in one product.

The only thing that was negative about this product is that it came broken. The boards were simply sticker onto the easle. I called Step 2 and they sent me out new boards that are drillable. Kudos to Step 2 for acting so quickly. Other than that issue, a great product!

The chalkboard and wipe off boards were attached with small pieces of double stick tape. These could have easily been pushed through by little hands. We had to reseal with more and wider double stick tape.

Having 3 kids living in my home-a four year old and 22 month old twins-this has been a great activity for all. The other products of this type have 2 sides, while this has room for everybody to "work" at the same time. It is very sturdy as the babies are always sitting on the shelf and it has never collapsed. I would highly recommend this product.

NOT DURABLE FOR PRESCHOOLER!
By Mother of Two from Clarksville, TN on 4/14/2007
Pros:
Interactive
Cons:
Flimsy
Best Uses:
Indoor
Describe Yourself:
Stay At Home Parent
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My 3 1/2 year old son had this one day and the the chalk board popped out from the plastic on both sides!! They were barely glued on to the plastic, and we've tried several different permanent glues to get them to stay in and they won't. Not to mention that the desk portion is very small. Honestly, my son has maybe sat at the desk to play about 3 times since he got it last September.
