I bought this for my daughter for her 2nd birthday and she is now 5 and still has plenty of room for all her toys. The lid is a little hard to close, for younger kids but is very practical and will never pinch a finger.
We already had the Flip and Doodle desk for my two year old daughter in our playroom. I wanted to get a toy box to clear the clutter and a bookshelf for her books and DVDs. This was perfect! I like that it isn't a heavy piece of wood furniture that could fall over on her and it matches her Flip and Doodle desk perfectly. It holds tons of books and toys. The top slides up and stays in place and the toy bin area is low and easily reachable for her. Great product once again by Step 2. Made in America :)

This is a great storage chest with plenty of room! Our kids have tons of toys and books - all of which are neatly organized and concealed in this attractive, durable chest. Chest does not close all the way which is a great safety feature that prevents little fingers from getting pinched. This chest is great for small spaces as well... it has plenty of room without being bulky!
This product has been in our house for 13 years.
We are still finding uses for it in our home. My children are ten and sixteen. Im not ready to get rid of it yet. Its been everything from a tv cabinet to a book storage shoe shelf and a pool supply storage cabinet. Its just great
I ENDED UP BUYING THIS USED FROM [...] EVEN THOUGH IT WAS A FEW YEARS OLD, ITS STILL WAS IN GREAT SHAPE. CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GREAT TINGS ABOUT STEP 2 PRODUCTS. IT IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST TOY BOXES I HAVE FOUND. I LOVE THE SHELF FOR BOOKS
We bought two (one for the living room and one for my daughters bedroom)!
This toy box is wonderful it fit a lot of toys and it is pretty enough to put in our living room! :) It's a great space saver!

This is a wonderful toybox. I have one for each of my girls, the older one is 9. We've had hers for 9 years and it's still in great condition. Thy've been colored on, magic erasers work great, climbed on-no sharp edges and sturdy!!!, and hidden in..love how the lid won't pinch fingers even when they slam it! I just wish they had a third color, maybe blue lid, for our son!!!! Then we'd have one for each child.

This is the perfect size - not too small but not too massive - very stable - great use of space above toy box (with the 2 shelf feature for books/more toys/lamps etc)....I did a great deal of online research/hunting...this was THE ONE to buy - and after I got it in my home - i couldn't be more pleased with the choice. The subtle creme color with the pink top - blends with any decor - yet gives it a girly feel for my daughter!!
My son received as a gift two years ago and now we are going to by another for our 10 month old. It is sturdy and stable, does not tip over. Holds many books that child can reach on first shelf. Top shelf is high enough to put things out of reach for toddlers but older children can reach for more storage.

I have oe of these for each of my kids (the red one and the pink one) there both are so great! They hold so many toys and my 2 year old can open it very easy. I am so happy that i got this toybox.
It has lasted ten years - two boys and is still in great shape.

I bought this toy box for my daughter when she was about 9 months... She is now three and I love it! It holds so much!!!! The design is perfect because it does not take up too much space; the double shelves are great for books and toys; and my daughter has always found it easy to use all by herself. There is no worry of pinched fingers, or the door falling on her head. Just a great design!

I have one I got from my 7 year old cousin and one we bought for our big girl who is almost 4. She has one and our baby now has one, they are terrific! I still need to get another for their shared toys. Tons of room (can hold my big girl!), and very sturdy. We love them enough to buy another, need I say more?

This is a great toybox. My sister has the one with the red door for her 2 boys(whom are hard on everything) and it is about 7 years old now and still looks new. I bought the one with the pink door for my daughter after seening how well my sisters held up. It's roomy and you don't have to worry about the lid slamming down on your little ones fingers.
I bought this toychest [...] for my 20 month old daughter and she loves it. It is very durable. There is plenty of room for her toys. She doesn't want to put books on the shelves. She uses the bottom shelf for her babydolls. She plays with them there and we put stuffed animals and board books on the very top. I'm glad I made this purchase because it looks great in her room and there is no assembly, ready to use right out of the box [...] We will use this for many years.

I bought this product once my daughter started accumulating toys. At first I wasn't sure if it would hold them all but it did, and there is still plenty of room for more toys. I love the fact that is has the shelves for books and stuffed animals. I love everything about this product.
