Like many others, I've been very dissapointed to see the doors, the ladder and windows fall so easily. My little boy is 18 months old so I just took them off so he could play with the rest of the set. But due to that, I would hesitate to buy an other set.

Although these sets are utterly adorable, I have some reservations about buying additional ones. We started with the farm and right away noticed the doors will not stay on, ditto for the ladder. I ended up putting them away rather than having to reattach every few minutes. Also the tractor never stays connected to the cart when my daughter tries to push it on the floor.

I'm enjoying using this toy to introduce my 18 month old twins to different farm animals and the concept of life on a farm. The size of the animals is perfect for their little hands and the animals are very life like while being cute and charming. I agree with the other reviewers that it is disappointing that the doors, ladder and windows fall off very easily. I have just removed the doors and put them away for now because within 5 minutes of giving the toy to my daughters, the doors were off! I'm glad I read about that before purchase or I would have been very upset.

but, my 2 year old daughter can play with this for hours. It has more animals/characters than any of the other similar barnyard sets I looked at. Plus, it comes with a tractor and trailer, garden mat, fence, and buttons to push for animal sounds - many more features than similar products. My only complain is the barn doors, which come off very easily when pushed closed. My daughter brings them to me to fix repeatedly.

I loved the overall look of this poduct and my daughter loves it! However, like so many other reviewers we are constantly frustrated by how easily the doors and ladder come off. I have to be careful just sitting it on the shelf. I would love to collect the whole set, but hesitate if the other proucts have similar design flaws. Everything else about the barn set seems well made and durable.

This is a great toy for my son. He is totally into Old MacDonald right now, and this toy allows him to use his imagination to play on the farm. My only complaint is that the barn doors fall off entirely too often and too easily. I noticed others complained of that as well, so I guess it's just a flaw in the design. But other than that, a great toy.

Our 16 month old got this for Christmas. It is her favorite toy by far. The animals are cute and just the right size for little hands to carry around. The animal noises are relatively quiet and inoffensive. Yes, the barn doors fall off, but the rest of the toy is so terrific that it's easily overlooked. The first word out of our daughter's mouth in the morning is "farm?" Don't miss the "accessory set" to complete the "family!"

Our daughter (16 mos) loves this toy. We got the accessory set too, and she sits for long periods playing, rearranging, making animal noises. The pieces are just the right size for little hands. Yes, the barn doors come off, but are easily replaced. It's a very minor drawback to a very well-designed toy. She carries the sheep and pig with her everywhere - just loves them.

Very cute toy and lots of great pieces. In the few days we have had it through, my 22 month is constantly frustrated that the fence comes apart and the barn zoos come off all the time, so she constatnly has to ask us to fix them.

I bought both the Farmhouse and the firehouse for christmas for my 3 year old son. After opening the box and trying them out, the doors fell off of both the farmhouse and the firehouse, even when you put them back on they just keep falling off-I would not have bought them having known this ahead of time.

I purchased this farm for my 15 month old and she loves it! She enjoys pushing the tractor and imitating the "engine" noise. The size and durability of the animals and people are perfect for little hands. I normally love Step 2 products, but I do have one complaint when it comes to this farm- the doors constantly fall off and are too complicated for little hands to replace.

My daughter loved the product but was disappointed that the doors came off easily. My wife also said that she thought that the product was one of the nicer ones like it on the market, but would be deterred from ordering other products like it from Step2 if this were her only exposure to Step2. Since we own a lot of products from Step2 and are very happy with the typical quality, this experience doesn't change our perception. I would recommend this to a friend, but warn them about the frustrating door issue.

I bought this for my daughter because she loves to role play. I was excited that it was appropriate for younger toddlers. It is very cute. We love the animals and noises, but the doors and ladder constantly fall off. I have now removed them and packed them away because it was so frustrating. The trailer doesn't stay attached to the tractor very well either. Step 2 has a great idea...they just have to get some different engineers behind them.
