We had the privilege of introducing our new, limited edition Turbo Coupe Interceptor Foot-to-Floor kid’s police car to our friends at the Streetsboro Police Department this week. Officers Kyle French, Art Milner, and Ryan Wolf brought their junior officers up to the station to give these mini police cruisers a test drive.
At Step2 we feel it is important to give back to the community where we are headquartered, which is why we surprised the Streetsboro Police Department with a $10,000 donation that day!
Our President and CEO Chris Quinn expressed gratitude for the hard work and dedication that the officers and dispatchers perform every day. “These officers and all law enforcement officials put their lives on the line every day for us,” Chris stated. “At Step2, we believe in family first and have profound gratitude for our local police force, who leave their families to protect ours.”
The Streetsboro Police Department goes above and beyond supporting the local community by sponsoring programs like Fill a Cruiser, DARE, Safety Land, and Shop with a Cop. The donation will be used to support this year’s Shop with a Cop program, which will take place on December 10th.
Officer French, one of the dads who’ gave the Turbo Coupe Interceptor a test drive with his daughter, said that having kids of his own has really opened his eyes to the needs of some children. This will be his first year participating in the event and he is excited for it. He’s grateful to be working in a city that supports and welcomes the police.
We really enjoyed interacting with the Officers, staff, and the daughters of the Streetsboro Police Department. Thank you for allowing us to come visit and launch our Turbo Coupe Interceptor Foot-to-Floor.
