Ah, there is a gigantic spider hanging around the Step2 HQ!
This spider was created using the Step2 Ladybug Sandbox, which was discontinued in 2010. Krylon Fusion paint was used to make the sandbox black. Holes were drilled into both sides of the sandbox to place the spider’s legs into the body. The legs are made out of PVC pipes wrapped in Styrofoam. In addition to wrapping the PVC pipes in Styrofoam, black duck tape was used to keep the pipes and Styrofoam together. Talk about a spooky decoration!
