Customer ReviewsRated 5 out of 5 by Claudia from Water and Ball fun My grandson just turned 18 months and I purchased the Busy Ball Play Table to help entertain him when he visits. A Phillips screwdriver is all you need to put it together. The instructions were specific and I had no problem putting it together. It also disassembles easily so that I can put it away until he visits again. He LOVES water! He liked pouring the water from the cup. The red ball projectors found him trying to push the ball upwards into the water versus press the projector down to pitch the ball forward, but that skill will come with time. This will be a fun toy for him to play with during our hot summers. My suggestion is to play with it in an area that you can round up escaping balls, like on grass or a patio.Date published: 2016-07-20Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Balls stick in tubes & tubes fall off easily Really wanted to love this product and couldn't figure out why it wasn't sold at more stores. Well it's because the balls don't roll down the tubes when wet, so it's basically useless. The ball roll part is also very unstable and falls off super easily. My husband put screws through it to hold together, which worked. My son just pulls the catapults off, but maybe that's because he's two. In any case, my son loves any kind of ball. I thought it would be super fun for him, but he more enjoys just splashing in the water since the balls always get stuck.Date published: 2017-06-02Rated 2 out of 5 by Gayle from Good in concept, bad execution I loved the idea of this water table. My kids love watching balls go through mazes so it looked great! I'm extremely disappointed, though, in how it is put together. The yellow tower isn't actually attached to the base at all. It has some notches to help it fit in to place, but nothing to hold it there. My kids (18 mo and 3 yes old) are constantly knocking it over at just the slightest touch. Basically, it's only functional as a water table, not an interactive ball toy. Feel like I wasted my money.Date published: 2018-05-16Rated 5 out of 5 by The Parenting Patch from My Toddler Loves Her "Ball Water Table" Thank you to Step2 for letting me test this item as part of the Step2 toy tester program. The Step2 Busy Ball Play Table is a fun toy all year long, both inside and outside. As an inside toy, the balls provide hours of fun as children roll the balls down the chutes, spin the balls on the center carousel, and launch the balls from the catapults. As an outside toy, adding water to the table creates a "ball water table." Kids will enjoy splashing and making a wet mess while playing with the balls and chutes in the water. The Busy Ball Play Table is also easy to use and securely built with sturdy plastic materials. If your toddler or preschooler loves balls and water, my toddler daughter and I both highly recommend the Step2 Busy Ball Play Table.Date published: 2014-03-08Rated 1 out of 5 by MICHELLE from very disappointed Normally I love step 2 products but this table is poorly made. The ball tower does not stay in place and falls over. there is nothing to attach it to and it does NOT snap in place. the balls are very thin and collapse very easily. the only part made well is the base so if you just want a table with no toys it works. I don't see how anyone could of rated this high unless they didn't actually use it.Date published: 2018-05-11Rated 5 out of 5 by OPRAHFAN from More fun for the kiddos I purchased the Wonderball house. It was to be left at Grandmas. After seeing its size, I wanted something smaller so it will go to Grandson for first birthday and this Busy Ball Play Table will take its place. This one is more versatile as I can set it indoors or outside and we can put rice, beans, sand, water, etc. in it. You can't go wrong with any Step 2 product. They are well designed and manufactured and easy to put together and children don't get bored with them.Date published: 2016-02-01Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great for all ages! This was given to my daughter on her first birthday and it was a hit at the party! We have now used it for 2.5 years and it is still in excellent condition and provides loads of fun! In the winter we keep it inside without water and it's still fun :) My only disappointment is that the ball tower can easily fall off with the younger ones leaning on it, but as she's gotten older she's taller and doesn't have to lean on it to put the balls in.Date published: 2017-03-23Rated 2 out of 5 by Kim Resler from Not real impressed! Not real impressed one I put it together, my grand daughter knocked the tunnel tower over. It does not stay clicked into place. Had to keep putting a couple of slides. And the red launchers won’t stay in. She is just one so she wasn’t rough with it at all. Everytime we launch a ball they fall out. I have always like Step2 in tge past but won’t be buying it anymore. Seems things are made so cheaply now.Date published: 2018-06-25
