Customer ReviewsRated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Kids This is a wonderful wagon for my young grandsons, we have taken it to six flags, company bbq's, and "Pa's" Umpiring games, shopping and walks around the blocks and park. The problem we had, which was more annoying than a deal breaker, was one wheel had nothing to keep it on. I would have called but grandsons insisted on riding it, so we found something tht would work but is now coming off. Not surewhat to do now. But do so love this wagon. If this happens to you call them right away, am sure they would have helped.Date published: 2012-06-15Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from liked it Here in Arizona we need shade so I thought this would be great. When I got the wagon on a weekend, I opened up the box, and one major part was missing the long metal piece to hook the back wheels were missing.. I was mad I didn't have it. I love step2 and was first time a toy was missing a part. My girls 4 and 21 months really wanted to go for a walk. Told my oldest she will have to wait tell we call on Monday. Wish the they were open during the weekend. I will keep odering from step2 though you guys are great..Date published: 2010-06-28Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Overall great wagon:) Recently bought this wagon for my 2 year old daughter since she now hates sitting in her stroller. We take long walks daily in our neighborhood and she absolutely loves sitting in the wagon! Wagon was easy to put together and maneuvers very easily over bumps, ramps and turns like a charm. It also has great storage for my cell phone and my daughter's snacks and cup. It's very roomy and she is able to fit her many dolls inside with no problem. Only complaint I have, other than my sore arms from pulling it, is I wish it had a door. It's not hard to lift my child in and out of wagon but it can be a pain and I do sometimes bump her head on the canopy if I'm not paying close attention!! But canopy was the reason I purchased this wagon and it does give good protection from the sun.Date published: 2009-06-16Rated 5 out of 5 by Grammy of Six from Outstanding purchase I purchased this wagon for our third grandchild several years ago. He and his younger brother have had countless hours of fun with this sturdy, child friendly wagon. Their parents use this wagon to transport the boys from house to house every Halloween. The canopy is so easy to set up that neighborhood children can do this with no adult assistance. I have just purchased a second wagon for grandchild number six and I am sure he and any future siblings will enjoy this wagon as much as his cousins do.Date published: 2013-11-06Rated 4 out of 5 by Layil from Canopy Wagon We use our wagon primarily to transport our youngest back and forth to school. While it is great on sunny days, do not expect the cover to provide any protection from the rain--as I found out today!Product design could be greatly improved by taking into account both sun, and rain useage. Also the older model Safari with the door that opens is far superior to the Canopy for ease of entry and exit. This all said, the overall performance meets our expectations. Design tweaks would make it perfect though!Date published: 2010-06-24Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Canopy Wagon a neighborhood hit! I absolutely love this wagon. Everywhere I go people ask me where I bought it. It has storage under the seat as well as on top of the canopy. There are cupholders for the kids as well as the adults. I took this to the zoo with a friend and the tots had a great time riding around in it. It keeps them shaded in the sun and protects them from rain as well! The handle folds under to fit easily in an SUV or van. It will not fit in a little car. I plan on using this wagon for many years to come!Date published: 2010-05-26Rated 5 out of 5 by Sandra Hale from Love it. We love this wagon! It's easy to put together and very durable. We love the fact that we can wash it with a garden hose when we need to and there is no chance of rust. Our grandtwins just turned 1 and we purchased the wagon for their birthday. Every day they ride in the wagon for at least 45 minutes. The handle is long enough so you don't have to bend down and exert too much effort. Before the wagon we walked them in their stroller. They like the wagon better than the stroller and do stay put when the wagon is moving. Some how they know not to wiggle out of their seatbelt and try to get out.The only thing we did find that was an issue is our granddaughter tries to touch the wheels so you have to watch that.We will definitely consider Step 2 products in the future for our outdoor play needs.Date published: 2009-04-17Rated 1 out of 5 by Frustrated Mama from SAFARI WAGON BETTER.. I was looking at the Safari Wagon for a long time, it had a door for safe entry and a hookup for the extra trailer, which were FANTABULOUS. My son was just a newborn so I made the mistake of not buying one then, thinking that it would still be available. The new Canopy Wagon is missing key features.. no door and no extra trailer hook-up. These are key parts that made the previous model so much better. Please BRING BACK THE SAFARI WAGON ... also add an insert for laying child(ren) down.Date published: 2009-05-10Rated 5 out of 5 by Grandma Therese from Every Family Needs One! We bought this wagon for our granddaughter on her 2nd birthday. We then used it when we took her to Holiday World. It was so much better than a stroller! She was shaded from the sun, had storage for her snacks, Pull-Ups, baby wipes, a place for her tippy cup, and room for a "friend"...which will be filled next month when her baby sister arrives! It will be used at home to play with and for all future trips to zoos, outdoor festivals, and vacations.Date published: 2008-09-27Rated 3 out of 5 by Step 2 Wagon Hacking from Can be perfect with a simple at home modification Overall this is a great product but the noise/vibration that comes from the platic wheels is a little much. It's even hard to carry on a conversation when walking over pavement because the wheels are so loud. If you are going to buy this wagon, an easy at home fix can solve this problem.1. Buy two sets of rubber tires 26x1.75". Cut the rubber bicycle tires then using an electric drill and some small wood screws, attach/wrap the rubber tires to all 4 wheels by screwing through the rubber tires and into the plastic wheels. Voila! No noise The extra $30 for the tires is well worth it.2. Place a small layer of sponge/foam in the canopy to absorb vibration. That way no noise from your keys or phone as it rattles over the pavement. These two fixes made this wagon awesome (and quiet)Not sure why Step2 didn't design it like this in the first placeDate published: 2015-07-03Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Here is my dilema I am looking to purchase a wagon. A great comment that was left that I found useful was about no door to get their child out if you use the canopy. Isn't the canopy the whole point of why you purchased it verses an uncanopied wagon. So wouldn't it make sense to offer AGAIN a wagon with a door for easier access to get children in and out without hitting one's head on the canopy. Very disappointed the Safari wagon is no longer offered.Date published: 2009-01-14Rated 5 out of 5 by The Blands from The wheels keep turning The Canopy Wagon we purchased for our grandson for his first birthday was a big hit.Assembly was easy. Our grandson never wants to get out of it. My son said he cries when he has to get out of it.We will be telling all parents and grandparents about this. Our daughter-in-law love the cup holders and compartment on top of the canopy. The seat belts are great for little ones like him. Thanks to the engineers who designed this product.Date published: 2009-05-22Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Child bumps head on canopy, needs door! This wagon is not even better than the old model. Step2 must have decided the other one cost too much to make? The other one was better for steering, and it had a door! Who would take the door away when it has a canopy? With a canopy and no door, my daughter bumps her head getting in and out of this wagon. Its too bad the old model is discontinued! BRING IT BACK STEP2, put up the price if you have to, its worth it! Thanks.Date published: 2009-04-12Rated 5 out of 5 by hausfrau55 from Daughter-in-law loves this wagon Daughter-in-law wanted a wagon with a canopy to protect our granddaughter from the Texas sun, preferably before Halloween. She has already used this wagon often in the past couple of weeks. The baby doesn't feel "hemmed in" and squirm/cry as she does when going for a walk in her stroller.Son put it together with no trouble at all. The seatbelt means that the baby is safe, and overall they are very happy with it.Date published: 2010-10-29Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from great ride It took my son 15 minutes to assemble the wagon. We bought it for our grandson. he can keep his toys in it while he is here and we park it in the corner. I like that the handle is long so it is easy for me to pull around (the handle extends high and you won't pull your back out). I love the strap that extends around his waist. Maybe they could make some type of a harness for extra safety on a toddler.Date published: 2009-12-25Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Adorable wagon! I love the canopy to shield against the sun and the extra storage space. I had a little trouble putting the wheels together. I banged a little too hard and the plastic part popped off. Also, I have a tendency to move the wagon by grabbing the canopy which causes it to pop out easily. But, all in all, this is a great wagon to take your little one(s) to the park and store some snacks for along the way.Date published: 2009-09-28Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed Parent =( from The Safari Wagon is much better! Everything about this wagon is great with one major exception - it has no door which has proved to be necessary if you're using the canopy! Our toddler is unable to get in and out of this without help which can be very frustrating at this age. You basically have to lift her over the wagon while trying not to smack her head on the canopy. The Safari Wagon is a tad more expensive but worth the door!Date published: 2008-03-14Rated 3 out of 5 by Gramma Disappointed from Safari Wagon needs to come back For my grandkids, I am so disappointed that the Safari Wagon was discontinued. This wagon is not what the Safari was. Inferior to that wagon, I don't know what the marketers for Step 2 were thinking when they took the Safari off the market. This is not the same; if you are going to replace it, do so with a better one. This color is too wild also. Disappointed in a usually excellent line of toy.Date published: 2009-04-07Rated 5 out of 5 by maxys_mommy2008 from Great wagon I love this wagon. A friend of mine gave it to me for my son. I love the canopy, it protects my son from the sun. I also love all the cup holders and the hiding place for my things on the canopy. I also like the storage beneath the seat. My son love to ride in it. It is easy to pull and maneuver. It is also easy to push as well. The seat belts make it so that my 21 month old cant climb out.Date published: 2010-05-30Rated 5 out of 5 by LoriC from Everything I wanted in a wagon With two small children we use the wagon for many outings. It's perfect for trips to the zoo or the park or just a walk through the neighborhood. The canopy provides shade on a long day at the zoo or it removes easily for a quick ride. The seatbelts keep my youngest safely seated. I love the cup holders for me and the in seat storage. We will enjoy this wagon for many years.Date published: 2010-01-03Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Best Purchase I love this wagon. Great for festivals, the zoo, the rodeo and any other outdoor activities. I had been looking for a wagon for my 15 month old and this is great. The only thing is that it does not have a little door for the kids to get in and out of. I have to put them in over the side of the wagon. Great storage and I love the cup holders for the adults on the canopy.Date published: 2009-04-09Rated 5 out of 5 by MaKasten from Another great Step 2 purchase! I purchased this wagon for my granddaughter's 3rd birthday and had it shipped to her home. My unhandy son put it together without problem. When we were shopping for a wagon, it by far seemed the sturdiest with many great features. Our past experience with the Step 2 Co. made us confident of many happy years, with many grandchildren, using the wagon. Thanks, Step2!Date published: 2010-01-26Rated 5 out of 5 by mommy and son from My son just loves his wagon!!!!! We take the wagon to the park, malls, zoo and just about anywhere we can take it. It is very handy and the best of all my son just loves to ride on it. I took it to the waterpark and he fell asleep and all we did was put towels in between the seats and made it comfortable where he was able to nap and of course the cover gave him perfect shade.Date published: 2010-03-04Rated 5 out of 5 by Cookie Maker from Great product for mom and child! My 20 month old daughter loves this wagon! She packs up her stuff in the seat and places her sippy in the cup holder and climbs in with no problem! I love the durable shade, cup holders, and top compartments. I even love the fact that I was able to maneuver it into the trunk of my honda civic to take to the zoo! I highly recommend this wagon!Date published: 2011-03-22Rated 4 out of 5 by carys' mommy from best wagon ever!! i LOVE this wagon!! my little girl and the little fella that i watch are both very fair and need shade and this is the perfect wagon!! the only things that i find difficult are that you have to take the top of if you have to transport it and you have to make sure that the four posts are lined up completely to make sure that it is stable.Date published: 2010-09-30Rated 5 out of 5 by abug from Love it I love this wagon.I bout it for my 3 and 2 year old boys. I have a 3 and a 1 year old girls and they absolutely love it! It didn't take long to assemble it which is really good when you have toddlers waiting! it is easy to stear and pull. works well on grass and pavement. the only thing that I would like to have seen is the seat belts have a strap that came up between the legs.Date published: 2009-05-20Rated 5 out of 5 by K. May I know the packing box size? Cause I will send it by plane.thanks.The packing dimensions for the Canopy Wagon™ are as follows : 40 x 20.5 x 18.75 inchesDate published: 2017-07-19Are the tires on this all terrain. that you can use this on the beach? They are plastic. Very loud on the cement. I saw a guy suggest that you install rubber on the tires, and he gives a tip on how to do it, which is something I will be doing to mine. I have not attempted at the beach yet. When my Wagon Arrived it was all thrown in the box with all parts loose and not packaged correctly or secured in any way. so the tired were bouncing around the box loosely all the way across the country and there were black marks and scratches all over all peices. Looks like I have already owned it for 6 months and it is brand new. If you order anything from this company, I suggest you e-mail prior asking for your items to be secured properly, as all 6 items I have ordered from them have arrived in the same condition. I will not be making any future orders from them. The products themselves are sturdy and long lasting, and I do like them. I am just not happy with the scratches and dents on them upon arrival.Date published: 2018-03-27Can I buy just the canopy and polls ?Please call toll free 1-800-347-8372 Monday - Friday, from 8-5 ET and we will be happy to assist you further with this request.Date published: 2018-03-27I received Spanish instructions to the step 2 canopy wagon.
