Customer ReviewsRated 5 out of 5 by Nana from Wonderful product We love this train, I now have a total of 7 cars. It’s nice because although the kids can still touch each other they have their own lil car all to themselves & a cup holder along with a safety belt ❤️Date published: 2017-10-24Rated 5 out of 5 by Prosak from Great product Did not had a chance to try it outside since there is snow where I live, but my almost 2 years old kid was very excited when she saw it for the first time, and even if the Wheels was not on, she wanted so much to sit Inside and play! Now that the Wheel are on, I have place it in the basement, and each time she go there, she want to do a ride. Can wait for the first days of spring to try it out outside. Will be perfect once my twins of 3 months will be older to fit in this train!Date published: 2014-02-13Rated 4 out of 5 by SJD Mommy from I love it and so do the kids! I love this wagon and have used it all day. My kids were trying to get i it as soon as it was out of the box! I like how it can have cups or juice boxes. It fits in the back of my Jimmy and is lighter than my double stroller. I am so glad I bought it. I have three toddlers and they all fit. It was easy to pull but tight corners are a little hard. I love this wagon and look forward to using it for a few years. I also got tons of compliments on it!Date published: 2011-07-10Rated 5 out of 5 by Mama Smith from AMAZING! PERFECT TWINS/MULTIPLES!! I waited for a long time to purchase the Choo Choo Wagon and so happy it is back!! Do not hesitate on this purchase, the wagons disappeared for a number of years. Perfect for twins/multiples and/or if you have twins and a toddler as I do. The CCW is so much better than a stroller or regular wagon due to: each child has its own seat w/seatbelt, thus no FIGHTING; portable for outings. Use an extra seat for all toting your items. Great buy!Date published: 2012-07-12Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Love, Love, Love it!!! We bought the choo choo wagon (the red, white, and blue version) for our triplets' first birthday. They love it! I stroll them around the neighborhood, and I swear they think it is their very own parade. I love the individual cup holders as well as the seat belts in each individual seat. My 2 1/2 year old loves it as well. I may have to get another trailer for him. It was easy to assemble and is just an overall great product.Date published: 2012-05-15Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Still thrilled OK my daycare has now own our new wagon for a couple of weeks now and still enjoy using it. I am even thinking of adding at least one more car on. People talked about turning radius as a problem, but here is what I have found. It worked just fine in the grocery store, was abit tight to turn around in the hall at the school (but I did it), and except for a very narrow section of sidewalk near the mailbox, I found I could usually find a place to turn around without too much trouble. Best if you do not have hills. I live in a fairly flat town. Sure it is heavy to pull, you have more kids in it than most wagons you usually pull, and there is more wagon. You get what you ask for, more space equals more weight. More kids equals more weight. I love that people are stopping and talking to me, my business is becoming better known just from our walks to school and back!Date published: 2011-10-24Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Whoo Hoo Choo choo!!! I have a daycare and this is the perfect ride for all my little ones. No hitting or grabbing from each other and everybody gets a good view when we go for walks. I can set the infant car seat in the first "car" and keep an eye on the youngest to the oldest without having to stop and walk around to the front to check on everyone like with a stroller. Would love to see a sun shade or umbrella attachment of some sort.Date published: 2012-06-12Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Kids love it. Great for neighborhood walks, trips to the zoo, and such. Compliments abound when we take the kids out in it. Sturdy construction, will definately stand up to general beating and banging resulting from carting kids around. Hinge mechanism in the center doesn't move through the full range of motion with the result being that it requires a couple of acres to turn around. All in all a good product at a good price.Date published: 2012-06-19Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great Wagon! We love the Step 2 Choo choo wagon at my daycare! The kids love that they can climb in (and out) on their own and that they have their own car! I love that they all have seat belts and their own space. It is easy to pull but can get a bit heavy with older kids. Even my 10 month old love sitting in the wagon like a big boy. It is a great addition to my daycare and has made our trips to the park much easier!Date published: 2015-07-07Rated 5 out of 5 by R&S's Mom from Perfect for twins! Our 2 year old twins were always kicking each other in our regular wagon, so I bought this for their birthday. They LOVE riding in it and having their own space. I love the extra car to keep the diaperbag and all of the stuff that goes along with having multiple kids. The back cart is fairly easy to get on and off. It will take up a lot of space if we bring it anywhere, but it is worth it!Date published: 2012-07-24Rated 5 out of 5 by Ness1381 from LOVE IT!! Purchased the Choo Choo Wagon for travel and my daycare. When I first put the kids in the wagon they all smiled, when I started pulling it their smiles got bigger and they beamed with excitement. I love how each kid has their own spot/space - with a stroller, there was always hair pulling, "she's touching me", and wanting out. Kids love to climb in and are content sitting in the wagon.Date published: 2013-03-30Rated 4 out of 5 by Anointedprincess from My kids' favorite toy I love this product and the kids live all the attention they get from on watchers. We use this on a daily basis to walk the greenbelt. One disadvantage is that it takes very wide turns, so you have to make a pretty big turn and that makes it hard to take places where there isn't room to turn around; you have to make a loop. I was also disappointed that the first 2 cars do not detach so that makes it hard to haul without a truck although we still managed to put it in the back of our suv that was the only thing that fit. This is very heavy to pull once you have 3 kids in it ours are 3, 2 and 9 months, but I don't mind the weight because it gives you a good workout and I love seeing the joy on my kids' faces when we go for walks I bought this because I thought it would be a better value than a 3 seater strollerand more fun for my kids to ride in. although it does have its drawbacks my kids love it and so do I.Date published: 2011-08-03Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Love this! Best wagon ever!! It doesn't get any better than this! The USA colors are great!! Wheels are smooth and quiet. I read some reviews that said it was hard to turn, but mine has no problem at all!! Altogether my kids weigh 101 lbs and it's so easy for me to pull them and I am a small person. So nice and convenient to have for 3 kids. I love this and would buy it 10 more times!!Date published: 2011-07-07Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from great product olny a couple of cons I like each child has their own space and cup holder(reason I bought it) I took the children to the zoo (first time useing it) and it worked out great other then they didn't have storage space where I was still carrying things and when I was leaving I noticed that two of the red caps on the wheels fell off and they were on the right way.Date published: 2012-07-06Rated 5 out of 5 by Grammie from This a an AMAZING wagon! I received this wagon and it is awesome! I put it together pretty easily except for a huge oversight on my part. I hammered the last bolt on the last wheel axel and realized I was missing the wheel. OOPS!!!! The company was very kind in helping me figure out how to fix my problem and is sending me a new bolt free of charge! Thank you!Date published: 2017-09-27Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from A wish come true! I run a new small family daycare and was looking for a multiple child transportation. My kids start at 2 and most strollers were just too small or babyish for the older kids. The few things I saw were huge, bulky, heavy, and very expensive. This turned out to be perfect for our needs. Sure it can get heavy, but anything that can hold that many kids will get heavy. Not great for hills unless you really want a workout. I can add or subract cars as needed on any day depending on how many kids I have with me. They are all apart and can't bug anyone else. Most kids can get in and out on their own. Also as another perk, we are the talk of our town. We get smiles, and people talk to us all over town. It is being great advertisment for the daycare. I think we are going to join the 4th of July parade next summer with this wagon! It is still plenty big enough for the tall 3 year old I watch. My tall 6 year old seems too big, much to his displeasure!Date published: 2011-10-12Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from My Kids and neighbor Kids love it! We use it for everyday walk and trips to Zoo or Parks. It is so easy to remove the third wagon. As long as you have VAN Or SUV it should be easy to transport. We have Radio wagon but it's so much smoother and easier to control. Very quiet wheels. It would be perfect if it had more storage and more leg space.Date published: 2014-09-30Rated 5 out of 5 by Liltex9423 from Love it!! Once I found my toolbox, it was easy to put together. I have a 1yo girl and 2yo boy. They can't get enough of it. We have to take a ride through the neighborhood every night. The cup holders are great. They take a drink and a snack and enjoy the ride. I just wish my car was bigger so we could take it everwhere.Date published: 2017-11-13Rated 4 out of 5 by Mom of 3 under 3 from Excellent! My children are very close in age (1, 2, & 3) yet are still too little to walk constantly. I am in love with this wagon! It isn't overly hard to pull approximately 80 pounds of babies, no one can touch anybody else, everyone has their own space and a seatbelt that works (my houdini's can get out of nearly all restraints), it is low enough to the ground where if I want them to have the opportunity to jump in and out and walk they can. All in all it's perfect! I do have to disconnect the third car in order to fit the wagon in my van which does require me to turn the wagon on its side in the parking lot so the white car is already showing dirt. I'm sure it will clean fine, but because the 3rd car connects snugly it has gotten dirty while disassembling. It is really low and long so I do worry that cars will not be able to see the wagon in parking lots. I am thinking about attaching a flag to the last car in order to make it more visible to drivers. All in all I'm pleased!Date published: 2011-12-30Rated 4 out of 5 by Magnolia from great product We love the choo choo wagon our children can look all around great for walks to the park or anywhere it is made so good just like all of the step2 products we have very happy with it would be nice if all 3 seats had the little storage under the seat thats the only thing i would changeDate published: 2011-08-10Rated 5 out of 5 by Sabrenaleigh from Perfect Product for 3 kids 3 and under! GREAT PRODUCT! I just cant stress how much you should read all the directions first (which are just pictures) before starting! I didnt and messed it up, luckly I had a spare from a different product! Other than that its great! My kids love it and its very easy to use!!Date published: 2011-07-27Rated 4 out of 5 by BJD from Great Product The product is just as pictured and very easy to assemble. Once together is also very easy to attach and detach extra wagons as needed. I use mine to transport from house to bus stop for my younger children only! Seatbelts are awesome you can lock them down and cover with blankets as needed for cooler weather. I would recommend this for 2 years and below as it would become heavy obviously with older children. Definitely need a large turn radius as the wheels do not swivel. Parents who wish to use this wagon for traveling it is not compact at all and you would need a large space to transport. I have had 3 attached with 1 infant, 2 year old, and a 3 year old and pulls very easy down a dirt road. Bonus the infant seats also fit snuggly when set on top of wagon for the infant who is not able to sit up on their own buckled into their infant car seat. 4 stars are cause of the turn radius at end of road it takes the whole road to make a U turn back to house. I am 5'6" and the handle height is great for me. Kids love it!Date published: 2013-06-03Rated 5 out of 5 by smalltalk from Love is an understatement! This is perfect for our three children! Everyone is comfortable and has their own space. My children are 6, 5 and 1, and it is still very easy to pull. We have used it almost daily. This red, white and blue wagon was a HUGE hit during the Fourth of July festivities!!!Date published: 2012-07-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Triplets from Awesome product! We love our choo-choo wagon for our triplets! I like it because they can sit up, have their own space, and they look adorable cruising around! I am very impressed with the product and the shipping was fast! I will definitely order from step 2 again! Thanks!Date published: 2011-10-01Rated 4 out of 5 by gbob from Good Product but could be improved The kids love to get in this and ride. I think it is a good product but could have a better turning radius. While I would recommend this product, buyer beware it is really heavy to pull when you get 3 children in it. It's great if you are really athletic.Date published: 2012-06-12Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Love it, love it, love it! Works just like it said it would! I like having a separate compartment for each child and I like that even my 6 year old can ride it in with my twins. And if only using it for the twins I use the 3rd for the diaper bag!Date published: 2014-09-20Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Woo Hoo I love the Choo Choo My 18 month old triplets love ridding around in the Choo Choo wagon and I love that they all have their own space and seatbelt. The only down side it is bulky to travel with but I can get it in my minivanDate published: 2011-11-10Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from BEST purchase so far. My triplets are 9 months old. This is by the far the BEST purchase made. The LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It is so easy to use and get in and our of our truck. They are quite the hit when we go places.Date published: 2011-10-26Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Should have purchased it earlier! My children have fun riding in it. It is hard to pull, very heavy. It's fun and unique and we get a smile from everyone. My kids are 2, 2, and 4. I wish I had made this purchase a year ago!Date published: 2011-08-24Rated 5 out of 5 by Renee from Love it! I use this wagon for daycare to get the kids back and forth from the park. It works great! I think I need one more to have a 5 car "Suburbia train" as my daycare parents call it!Date published: 2017-09-28
Q & A
My Granddaughter is 4 and is 30 pounds, would she be too big for this? The recommended weight limit for each car of the Complete Choo Choo Train Combo - USA Edition is 50 pounds.Date published: 2017-08-14
How does this handle going down hills? Does it have any type of braking system? The Complete Choo Choo Train Combo does not have a breaking system and is not recommended for going down hill.Date published: 2017-06-30I would love to get this for the grandkids. Can you add more 'cars' or is 3 the limit?Yes, you can add additional trailers for more than 3 cars.Date published: 2017-06-16Can these be attached to a regular sized Step 2 wagon? No, the Choo Choo Trailer cannot be attached to other Step2 wagons.Date published: 2017-06-16What is the youngest age you have used this for? I was wondering if I would be able to use this for an 8 month old? Thanks! We got this for our triplets at about 18 months, but certainly could be used as soon as child has good core control. It has a lap belt. Think of being strapped in like a grocery store cart. They still enjoy it very much and people always ask about it when they see us. We got clip on umbrellas for each seat.Date published: 2017-06-16How hard is it to pull a triple or quad wagon set with 40+ pound kids in each car? Wondering if the wheels help with the load.Love the wagon! I think when you get kids that are over 40 pounds though, you will start to "bottom out" going over certain terrain. My oldest is 6 and she is starting to make the wagon tilt towards the couplings and we get some scraping of the bottom sometimes. The others at 4 and 2 are still fine. I would not recommend putting more than one child over 40 pounds in this wagon and even then I wouldn't put them in the middle. Probably the back wagon would be best. If you are not strong, it does get challenging on the grass.Date published: 2017-06-16Love the red, white and blue Choo choo wagon, is the white one easy to clean?? Or is it always dirty??It isn't that hard to clean, we just wipe it with a damp cloth or hose it down if it get extra dirty. We love it also for our triplet grand children. They have had a lot of fun riding in it, and they still do most of the time now that they are three. Hope this has helped you.Date published: 2017-06-16Go the wagon cars stack inside each other for storage in a minivan? Not really. The wheels prevent them from stacking together with any real stability. I just took it to the zoo today in my minivan and I have to set half of the back seat down to get all 3 carts in. The first 2 do not separate after you assemble the cart, but the third does disassemble fairly easily. Hope this is helpful.Date published: 2017-06-16
