Customer ReviewsRated 5 out of 5 by LelaC. from Fun new sand table When we first got the sand table in the mail i was very excited to put it together for my daughter. She is 1.5 years old. There are a few parts to the sand table. There are three legs, the base and the lid for the table. The three legs came with three screws to secure the legs in place. There are no holes for the screws to go into so I was initially a little put off. But I grabbed my screw driver and with a little force I was able to screw the screws in the correct place and they went through the plastic with some effort but not too much. It took me 5-7 minutes to screw all three legs in place. So needless to say the table is very stable. We took it outside I got the sand in (does not come with sand.) It does come with two shovels and two small buckets (they look like mini pots for flowers.) My daughter started playing right away and she seemed to really like the table. It's at a perfect height for her too so she doesn't have to bend over or reach up too high to get the sand. Also the eyes on the crab can spin and my daughter really likes that. She sits there and twirls them around and around. The lid for the table is really cute and sits right on top of the base. All in all this is a really neat table and i'm sure my daughter will play with it for years to come."Thank you to Step2 for letting me test this item as part of the Step2 toy tester program."Date published: 2016-01-11
Q & A
What color are the legs of this sand box?The legs of the Crabbie Sand Table features orange legs.Date published: 2017-07-27I am putting mine together, but there are no holes for the screws. Is this normal? Am I supposed to drill holes? Our screws are self tapping screws that are able to go through the plastic. You may need to start them with a hammer. Please follow the instructions or find the indents in the plastic to line up the screws correctly. We do this in an effort to ensure that no shavings inadvertently are left over in the box as a result of pre-drilling. These shavings could pose a choking hazard to little ones.Date published: 2017-06-16Does the screws come with the table?Yes, everything comes in the packageDate published: 2017-06-16Are the holes supposed to be pre drilled for this table? Does anyone have a suggesting for how to put it together? The screws are what we call self tapping and will make their own holes. What you can do to help get these started, very gently take a small nail and tap it into the area where the screw will go.Date published: 2017-06-16Can you use water in it?we haven't yet.
