This special bundle includes BoxLock, a tamper-resistant smart padlock designed to protect home and small-business deliveries. BoxLock keeps your package delivery box locked and secure until it’s time for a delivery. Only packages out for delivery to you will unlock your personal BoxLock. Your delivery driver scans your package, unlocks BoxLock, places your delivery inside your box and relocks your BoxLock. You’ll receive immediate notification that your package has arrived. (BoxLock app and wi-fi connection required.) Includes proprietary locking mechanism, encryption, weather-resistant case, rechargeable battery and barcode scanner. Register your package box as your preferred delivery location (optional) with major carriers (UPS, USPS, FedEx) for additional services. What prevents a thief from just stealing the entire Boxlock safe box and opening the box somewhere else? Is the box unbreakable or is it weighted to be too heavy to carry off? Thank you.
The delivery box itself has no included preventative or deterrent from easily being carried away. In order to secure the box to a specific location, extra measures, items, and labor will be required to immobilize the delivery box.
