Customer ReviewsRated 5 out of 5 by Working mom of one from Wish I got it sooner! My daughter loves her car. I bought it after visiting the playground and realizing she was the only kid without a car. It is AWESOME! Easy to steer and best of all she is happy to sit in it. Putting it together was not fun though. It has several pieces that are supposed to snap together and it was next to impossible to achieve that. Getting the steering wheel on in particular was hard. I had to sit in the car and my husband sat in front of me as we both pushed to get the wheel in place. I thought my husband was going to blow a gasket he was so frustrated but we finally got it :-) I definitely wish we had gotten it earlier (1st birthday would have been best)Date published: 2013-03-11Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Excellent My 2 year old son loves his car. He heads down the hall to sit and wait in it for us to go on a walk. My neighbor jokes about the mileage he's already put on it. The tires are super quiet. The car is so easy to turn. There is a cup holder for him and a cup holder for me that just fits my iPhone 6. He loads up with a ball by his feet and his drink and is ready to go. I would buy this again and againDate published: 2015-10-23Rated 3 out of 5 by Momof3scbeauties from Cute but.. I bought this for my child's 2nd birthday. Overall it is a cute car. Very easy to steer and my daughter loves it. HOWEVER, it only gets 3 stars because the steering wheel will not stay on. I called step 2 and the sent me a new steering wheel very quickly. (They have pretty good customer service). But the 2nd steering wheel is doing the same thing. Ithe appears to be a design flaw and flimsy clip that holds it on. Overall I would recommend but with the disclaimer that the steering wheel comes off.Date published: 2016-08-09Rated 5 out of 5 by MeMe of 2 from Grandson's favorite toy even after a year! I bought this for my grandson's first birthday which was March 2014. My husband had put it together before the birthday party. It was a huge hit the day of the party with over a dozen children ages 1 to 6 playing with it. We have walked over gravel, cement, dirt, grass and asphalt for hours at a time with absolutely no problem. It has taken a beating for sure and I am really surprised it has held up. I now have another grandson that will be turning 1 in November and am debating whether to get him his own or go for a wagon so I could have them both in the wagon at the same time. It would be great if Step 2 would actually make a 2 seat like the red and blue that can fit 2 kids and be pushed the same way! Don't know if I can get my older grandson to give up his red car for a wagon for our walks!Date published: 2015-07-22Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Steering Wheel Won't Stay in!!! This is a fun toy. Unfortunately, the steering wheel won't stay in making the product next to useless for a child trying to simulate driving. This was an expensive Christmas mistake. Add to that, I waited on hold for a half an hour to request assistance on December 26 and when the operator came on she introduced herself and then promptly hung up. Repeat call backs were met with a busy signal. Poor customer service.Date published: 2012-12-26Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Love the Sportster I bought this for my almost 1 year old son. My older daughter has the pink version from a few years ago. This is a much smoother ride and twists and turns with ease. It's super cute and both my kids love to ride it in (separately, of course). It took my husband about an hour to assemble it and he is pretty handy. Overall, a definite YES YES YES.Date published: 2012-10-31Rated 3 out of 5 by momInDc from Good and bad My 15 year old really likes this car. Since he likes it and it gives us a way to take fun walks in the neighborhood, I'm satisfied. There are three negatives you should know about but in the end, I would still buy this one. 1. The storage in front is really small. One sippy cup and 1 pair of toddler size 6 shoes is the limit. I would put the storage around half a cubic foot but it is shaped weird so that makes it extra hard. 2. The "sport steering feature is made poorly. It doesn't really do anything. I would've rather had extra storage. 3. The cupholder only holds bottled water. Don't expect to get any coffee cups in there. Grande iced beverage cup from Starbucks does not fit. Here are some improvements I'd like to see. 1. Close one side of the car so the child can at least store a book next to their foot. 2. Have some place to hang hooks near the back so you can hang a basket. 3. Reclining seat would be a dream. 4. Make the front ledge of the storage area higher so things don't fall out.Date published: 2012-04-04Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great Purchase! I bought this for my daughter and she just loves it! It is light and easy to push and turn. She picks this over the rest of her ride-on toys. I hope that she does not outgrow this for a long time to come, but if she does, it will be passed down to other family members.Date published: 2012-07-09

Or you can call the company and ask them to send them or email them to youDate published: 2018-03-27Does the easy steer sportster come with a seatbelt like your other buggies?Yes, this push car comes with a seat belt.Date published: 2018-03-27Any parents have had the whisper ride ii and this easy steer? Which would you recommend? Will be using inside and outside on sidewalks and off sidewalks. Are the wheels easy to retract when child is in seat?Easy steer is far superior to the whisper ride. My neighbors have the whisper ride and it doesn't turn unless you put it on its back wheels and rotate the entire car. Easy steer makes turning a breeze with the front 3rd wheel. The 3rd wheel is easy to retract with child sitting in the car, although you probably won't retract it a whole lot.Date published: 2018-03-27Thank you for the earlier response! I'm still trying to decide between the whisper I I and the easy steer. 2 deciding factors when my son had the original little push around buggy we used the storage area. It was so nice I didn't need a diaper bag! So di want to give up storage space for easy turning? Also my baby is the only girl in the family and I really wanted her to have the pink one in that every thing she has are from the boys. I would also like to suggest adding a sun shade. A pull out shade. This is the only reason I have looked at other brands. We live in Florida and a shade would be a selling point. But I'm still going to stick with step I I in that my son loved his so much and actually still does although he's 4 and no longer fits with his long legs. We had the small push around and the first whisper ride. Actually liked the little push around better because of the small size and was actually easyier to push but was loud. I feel the width of the newer ones are a little over kill. They are too wide and take up too much room in a car. I don't know a child that needs that wide of a seat. Maybe more leg room but not width. My 4 year old has lots of room in his with width just not a lot of leg room but I know these are not for older children he just still really likes it. I love step 2 products just wish the easy steer was pink which I know is a silly issue and I can't find a single store in my area that has these little cars for me to try them out to see if I can't get everything I need in the storage area and is he easy steer easy to lift the wheel back up with the child inside? We do a lot of park walking and off sidewalks.i don't remember my husband having any issues putting together our past cars and everything stayed put but he is an engineer :)yes it isDate published: 2018-03-27Are the dimensions of the whisper ride 2 and the easy steer the same? as in foot room and seat space? and the easy steer also whisper ride wheels? is there less room in the hood (storage space) of the easy steer, due to the lever to pull up the coater wheels?Update: I bought this car and we love it! I bought it for my 13 month old but my 4 1/2 year old loves it too and actually fits in it! We have the original whisper ride for my 4 year old and although he still plays with it in the yard, he pretends he's a mechanic, he is a little big for it. He still wants to be pushed in his as well so we do but his knees or up to his chest. The new easy stear is definatly an improvement over the old whisper ride. I have not tried the new whisper ride II. There is more leg room and of course much easier to stear and even off the sidewalk I don't need to pull up the coaster wheels they work fine in the grass as well. The only downfall is the storage area in our whisper ride is much larger but that's because there is less leg room and I prefer the leg room. I can buy a clip to hang a storage bag on the handle. Our little dog would ride in the storage area under the hood with hood open of course and my son loved that they could ride together but I know it wasn't made for that so can't complain. I love that the handle can be moved so it can be put in the car. And unlike the other reviews my husband had no problems putting it together. Love this car and so does my 13 month old little girl! I Los attached some toy keys to he stealing wheel for her to play with.Date published: 2018-03-27Do it come two seater?Great idea!Date published: 2018-03-27Any plans for a double push car that two can sit in? Or an attachable side car? I have two grandsons who are close in age. It would be nice to be able to take them for walks together. I like pushing rather than pulling a wagon! This is great feedback and we will be sure to share it internally.Date published: 2018-03-27How is the legroom on this one compared to the push around buggy? My son just turned 2 and he is tall, so it's been tight for him to keep sitting in the push around. I don't want to get this one and find out the leg room is the same. Thanks! My grandson is about 35" tall and while his legs are bent (not roomy enough to straighten out legs), but he doesn't have any issue with the leg room there is.Date published: 2018-03-27Are any of these available with the removable floor so they can push themselves without the use of the handle? At this point in time, this ride on toy does not come with a removable floor board. May I suggest the Easy Turn Coupe? http://www.step2.com/p/Easy-Turn-CoupeDate published: 2018-03-27Are there any other models with the easy steer or is this the only one?Not sure, but you will love this one! I bought it for my grandson and he and his parents love it! I would highly recommend it to yyou.Date published: 2018-03-27Will this product be available in other colors as well as red?It was only available in red when I bought it for my grandson so I had to buy a similar model in pink for his twin sister.Date published: 2018-03-27
