Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great desk for our toddler We bought this for our 20 month old daughter and so far it's been great (we've had it for about 2 weeks). It's the perfect size for her as both a desk and an easel. We really like having a place for all of her crayons and other supplies. And it's so easy to clean, a definite bonus around here! The stool is a little high for her but that hasn't stopped her from trying to climb on it. The only issue we've had is the easel (desk top) comes down too easily (we had a few bumps on the head before she figured out to get out of the way). We would definitely recommend this to anyone with a toddler.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easel desk is so versatile! Thank you to Step2 for letting me test drive this item as part of the Step2 Test Drive Blogger program. My boys love this desk. It's great for creative kiddos that love doing all kinds of various art projects! As a mom, I love that the product is versatile and has built-in storage (great utilization of space with storage on the back). The only con we found is that the smaller bins slide out really easily, so we've had various trays of crayons dumped. I wish there was a built-in way to prevent that. But, overall, the product is fantastic and my boys (ages 6 and under) love using it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We would buy this desk again We purchased 2 of these Flip & Doodle Easel Desks for our grandchildren, a girl, 3 years old and a boy, 2 years old. Our son and daughter-in-law have said many times that these were the best gifts that the kids have received. The kids use them every day and because they each have one, they have their own supplies and there is no fighting over who gets to use it. The desks clean up with ease and my daughter-in-law really likes this feature. A smock for each was purchased to help keep their clothes clean when using their paints.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Product Ever I bought this product as a Christmas present for my daughter. Can't even get past step 1 to put it together. Not even close to being wide enough.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Step 2 has the worst guest service Product comes missing parts and paper work. Plastic is warped. Step 2 rep says send it where you got it, after 41 min on hold. Asked to speak to a manager and was told no. Nothing could be done. Asked again and was told no and hung up on.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Trying to assemble this on Christmas Eve night for ,y daughter and cant get the easel to fit. I’ve read many others having this same issue. If I could give a zero star rating for this product I would. What a total disappointment.

Did anyone ever get an answer about fitting the easel on?

Asked by: Sarah
Thanks! Finally got it put together. It took me, my father inlaw, mother inlaw and a CROBAR to get it together! Ridiculous! But my son absolutely loves it. I'm just happy we were able to get it together.

Why is it impossible to attach the red part to the desk. The pegs are too long and your directions suck. And the hotline is off even though it’s 4pm. What’s needed is a video of assembly because multiple people have this issue. Please give an answer

Asked by: Thomas
To assemble the Flip & Doodle Easel, it is best to lie the unit down on the floor and have someone hold it firmly so it does not move. Insert long nub in first, then coat or brush vegetable oil on short nub and push down with extreme force. If that doesn’t work, get a blow dryer and heat up the desk end that receives the short nub to make it pliable and flexible and then repeat steps above.

I just bought this and can't seem to get the two knobs on the flip desk inserted into the two holes. What do I do?

The easel does not fit into the holes. The desk is not wide enough or the easel knobs were not cut down enough. Is there another way to install it that I'm missing?

Why doesn’t the easel fit into the desk and why haven’t you answered this question.
