Can it be less then 1.25"?Yes! We put 3/4" plywood on ours!Date published: 2018-03-27I know the description says a support board is needed for this bed. Is there any type of support with the bed - rails across where the mattress goes? Also, what are the dimensions from the base (where the mattress lays) to the top of the pink sides? Thank you! There are two types of support rails that are included with the Loft & Storage Bed. There are two wood rails that go on each end of the bed. Also, the two plastic rails go in the middle in between each side of the ladder. It is 20" in depth from base to sides.Date published: 2018-03-27How durable/practical is this bed if my daughter still likes to cuddle with me before bed? Also, what is the oldest age your children have been interested in this bed? She is 4.5 and really wants it, but I want her to enjoy it for at least the next 3 to 3.5 years. (until she is 8 maybe?)My daughter is a cuddler too and its not practical if you still want to do that. It only holds 300lbs and the only thing holding up the mattress is 2 pieces of wood and 2 pieces of plastic. She's 3 and she loves it but I don't think she's going to want it for another 4 years.Date published: 2018-03-27how long do you think till the doors will be manufactured for this bed? will this happen before the holidays or how long? im super excited to get this bedSo what prevents a child from falling out if the pink rails or I guess that's what they are calling the doors are not attatched? It looks to me as that was like the railing? So this picture is incorrect? I under the bins and stool but it's still incorrect besides that?Date published: 2018-03-27Referring to the earlier question and this one, if I use a standard 39x75 twin mattress, can you clarify whether there is 1 1/4 inches between the mattress and the left/right sides of the bed, the head/foot of the bed, or all sides of the bed? Thank you.The inside dimensions of the bed are 38.5” side to side and 77” head to foot board.Date published: 2018-03-27The beds' dimensions are listed at 44 x 85 while standard Twin Size mattress is 48 x 75. How does that work? Isn't it a bit too wide for the mattress? I am aware that some sort of support board needs to be purchased and that takes another 40 dollars or so. It does not seem very budget friendly :( Why was it made so much wider? This loft bed fits a 39" x 75" standard twin mattress. The dimensions of this kids bed are measured from the outermost parts. Because of the loft style, a support board is required.Date published: 2018-03-27Where do you purchase the pink storage bins that are shown under the bed?The storage bins shown under the pink and white twin bed are the Step2 Happy Totes.
