Customer ReviewsRated 5 out of 5 by ladylam0124 from Handy Helper This gift is going to be a Christmas gift for my grandson but he will love this as much as his Daddy did when he got his first tool box from Santa over 30 years ago. He hammied(hammer) for hours and used his meas (short for measuring tape) with my dad who was helping us with a DIY remodel. Thanks for making toys that remain fun for grandparents/grandchildren and parents/children those are moments you will share for a lifetime.Date published: 2017-10-26Rated 4 out of 5 by Aunt Sour from Fun gift I bought this for my 3 year old nephew for Christmas. He really liked it and played with it a lot that morning. His favorite was the drill that really runs! My only issue was when we put it together, the holes where the screws were supposed to go were not drilled out very well. You had to force them in. Other than that, it went together fine. Good fun from this workbench.Date published: 2014-01-01Rated 4 out of 5 by Brandy Nelson from Cute, Compact Workbench We really like the Handy Helper's Workbench! It is very compact, so it would easily fit in small spaces like bedrooms or apartments. It has tons of fun features like bolts, tools, a working vice, and realistic "wooden" pieces for building. There are also pre-drilled holes on the work surface that kids can screw the bolts into. We love the fact that the drill works, making for an authentic building experience. (It does require 2 AA batteries, which are not included.) There is also ample storage, since tools can be hung from the pegboard and there is a bottom storage area with a bin for bolts, etc. The reason I gave this 4 stars rather than 5 is because we also own the Real Projects Workbench, which includes a lot more accessories. Still, this is a wonderful product and I would definitely recommend it, especially if you've got limited space. My kids have a lot of fun building just like Daddy! Thank you, Step2 for allowing me to review this product as a Test Drive Blogger!Date published: 2013-09-03Rated 5 out of 5 by MAGALY from I would always buy step 2 products and recommend to all moms Step 2 has always been my first pick when my son was a toddler. He is now 25 years old. And we both buy step 2 for my newphew, cause it's sturdy and it's perfect. The purchases I've made last for years and I always gave it to the next child to enjoy, after my son out grew it. Its an excellent product.Date published: 2016-11-19Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great toy The perfect gift for my 18 month old grandson. The big pieces are safe enough, but I removed the smaller drill bits which are too small for a child who likes putting things in his mouth. He has had loads of fun with it.Date published: 2017-04-23Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from I will purchase more from this company Our 3 year old grandson Loves his workbench! We would cover in winter but does the sun weather it a lot?The workbench I ordered for my grandson has been on a covered porch but not left outside. It does get exposed to some elements and it looks pretty good. I would not leave tools such as the drill outside as whatever "powers" it might corrode. FYI: that drill is noisy! My daughter hides it once in awhile for peace and quiet!Date published: 2017-06-16what type of plastic is it made of? And, is it BPA-free? How 'green' is the product?
