Customer ReviewsRated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from I would buy this again After much research, considered other ones, I went back to this one. I bought it for my 4yr, 3 yr old grandsons for their birthday. They love to cook. The look on their faces was priceless. They forgot all about the other toys they got and started playing with their new kitchen. They found places to store the food, the dishes, the pots and pans. I wish it had come with more food. The electronic key pads with the appliances could have done abit more. Overall this was a big hit with the kids and myself. It was easy to put together, and it is sturdy enough for two boys. They will eventually share with their 1 yr old sister. Very happy customer.Date published: 2009-02-25Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Wonderful product, great price!! The assembly was suppose to be so difficult. I did it by myself without using a power screwdriver (but did have one available if necessary) and had the whole thing put together in 1 1/2 hours. I did unpack the box and put the decals on before starting the assembly and am not counting that in the time spent. We are having Christmas tonight and I can't wait for our granddaughter (27 mos.) to open this gift (yes, it is covered with Christmas paper!!!). Also can't wait to spend time with her and her younger sister (8 mos.) doing our "kitchen" work and making all kinds of great meals. I have already recommended it to their daycare provider.Date published: 2007-12-21Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great kitchen! I purchased the kitchen as a Christmas gift for my 21 month old granddaughter. I was able to follow the directions for assembly, and had no trouble putting it together with a simple screwdriver. Assembly took around 2 hrs. When she first saw the kitchen on Christmas, she was so excited!!! She absolutely loves it! It is big enough for 2-3 kids to play at once. A couple of things I do not like is the fact that the drawers come out too easily and are difficult for little ones to put back properly. The middle drawer for utensils falls right out when pulled open. Although my 9 year old grandson will not admit it, he likes playing with it too!!!Date published: 2010-01-06Rated 2 out of 5 by Disapointed mother from I would not buy this product again. Don't waste your money. Though is a cute kitchen, it was very difficult to put together even using a power screw driver. Also, the plastic compotents (top and bottom unit) are coming apart as the screws do not go into the plastic securely. Also, as mentioned in an earlier reveiw, the microwave door is difficult to open and close. The drawers are also very flimsy. I purchased this kitchen thinking that it would be one that my daughter would be able to grow with; however, due to the quality of this product, I would have been happier with one of the smaller, less expensive models. The smaller models have a more attractive, open design.Date published: 2010-07-22Rated 5 out of 5 by Daddy of 2 Boys from My 2 and 3 year old boys love it!!! This Kitchen is incredible and so life-like. My boys (2 and 3 years old) absolutely love it!! Everything on it is so realistic and the appliances are great. There is so much cabinet space to hold all of the food that comes with it, as well as the extra food i have from my old play kitchen. This is the best kitchen on the market for the price. The only negative is that you need to make sure you have a screw gun for installation. It takes about 45 minutes to put together, but if you follow the directions it is easy to assemble, just takes more time then most kitchens. That's i believe, because it is such a nice kitchen. SANTA was great this year!!!Date published: 2010-01-04Rated 4 out of 5 by CCBlues from The perfect gift for my daughter. My daughter is a couple months shy of being 2 1/2 years old and she absolutely loved this Christmas gift. She has been playing with it daily ever since opening it, and thoroughly enjoys "making" meals for my husband and I, and even insists that our cats "taste test" her creations! We also bought the extra food set to go with it. One (small) thing that I would like to see is that the refrigerator was set up so that it held more food; right now, the plastic pieces tend to fall out when the door is opened when the food is more than a layer deep. However, there is a lot of basket storage in the set, so that helps. We love this product.Date published: 2007-12-29Rated 3 out of 5 by Mom of daughter who loves to pretend! from Not as Great as I thought My 2 1/2 old daughter loves to pretend and I shopped for weeks looking for a kitchen to purchase for Christmas. I read all the reviews on every kitchen available and decided to go with the biggest and the best, so I thought. I liked this kitchen because the dishwasher, stove, oven and microwave all made sounds and provided more storage then the others. However, the only sound that was close to the real thing was the stove. The other sounds are low and does not come close to real appliances. My daughter never uses the microwave because it's small and not many things fit in it. However, the silverware drawer was a hit. Good luck on your kitchen search.Date published: 2009-01-12Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Fulfilling a childhood fantasy! We bought this for our 2 1/2 year old daughter as a gift from Santa. I'm a little surprised that she hasn't been very into it YET but I think that's because she has so many other new toys right and is on overload from Christmas, but once we get back into our regular routine, she will have fun. I always wanted a big kitchen as a kid but never got one, so I joke that I am fulfilling my childhood fanasties with this! My 6 year old son has played a little bit with it and enjoyed himself. The 3 of us have played "restaurant" together and pretended to cook. She likes opening the cabinets, etc. It is well made and will last a lifetime!Date published: 2010-01-01
