Customer ReviewsRated 5 out of 5 by Grandma Bridge from Picking The Right Toy I want you to know that I am very pleased with the quality of service that STEP2 provided with my recent purchase. I sincerely appreciate your responsiveness during the holiday season rush, the friendly ordering process and the way you conduct business. I have recommended your company to others because of my satisfaction with your service. The Lookout Treehouse was a "HIT" which made me and my grandchild very happy. The Lookout Treehouse provides a unique learning experience, skills for going to public playgrounds and creating multiple pretending experiences. I pick this especially for the safety in the design and the environmentally friendly color scheme. I look forward to doing business with you for years to come.Date published: 2017-01-03Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Wonderful Little House... This product is wonderful and we are highly happy we purchased it for our sons who are three and one and a half. The slide is safe and enjoyable, as is the working periscope. They will love to play "spy" in it soon enough and like to store their letter puzzle pieces on the platform. The only downside is we wish the platform was wider so that both of our boys could be up there at the same time together. We know they would love that and it would help them on their "spy" missions. Otherwise, thank you for a great addition to their indoor play area.Date published: 2009-01-02Rated 4 out of 5 by Chris the Father from Great slide for 18 month to 2 year old We bought this slide in the summer of 2010 for our son (18 months at the time). It's a great slide for a child in that 18 month to 2 year range but I would not say much more than that. It's very safe and sturdy. I like the side rails so the only way he can fall is backwards which one of us can cover. I do not think we will have it past this upcoming summer as at 18 months, he was too tall to stand undert the roof inside it. I'm not sure how they list it as 2-5 years as there is no way a 5 year old will be able to fit in this slide.Date published: 2011-01-14Rated 5 out of 5 by Playground mom from A Christmas Hit!!! Santa brought this for my 18 month old daughter who LOVES to climb and slide! It was easily assembled in about a half hour and was a HUGE hit Christmas morning! It is for indoor use only as we live in a condo but fits nicely in our living-room/play-room without taking up too much space. I couldn't be happier with this product[...]!I would recommend this to others out there with climbers...but you have to be careful they don't climb over the edge (one side has the periscope but the other is fair game to a daredevil).Date published: 2007-12-26Rated 5 out of 5 by les*is*more from love love love this treehouse i love love love this treehouse. first, me .. the person who cannot put anything together .. was able to do this all by myself. the telescope thing was a little tricky for me - but that is just me. my son LOVES this treehouse and it was the best christmas gift i could give him. i put in in the middle of the living room and plan on keeping it there. he has a ball and i get a moment after a long day at the office to chill on the couch and watch him play. thanks step2 for making such a great product!Date published: 2008-01-03Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Best 1st Birthday Present We bought this for our daughter for her first birthday. She LOVES it! It was by far her favorite gift. She had never been on a slide before, and her first time down brought smiles & giggles! Within a half hour she was climbing up the ladder, looking out the sides of the treehouse, & pushing herself down the slide. It fits well in our family room & I really like that it has a ladder/stairs that she can easily climb. Older neighbor kids have come over and love going down the slide too.Date published: 2009-01-01Rated 5 out of 5 by Sharon B from Sturdy and my son loves it! Our 1 year old son loves to climb over and under everything around him so we thought this would be a safe way for him to do so. We were looking for something big enough that he could grow with, but small enough to keep in the house. This product is the perfect size. I believe it's supposed to be for children up to 5 years (but I can't remember for sure), but I think after a few years he may get bored with it, and because this particular slide has a roof, this will limit the age for some children. My son is tall for his age. This toy is sturdy and he isn't able to push it around the living room, unlike the one my parents bought for him to keep at their house. I think the roof gives it that extra weight we needed to keep it in one spot. The children we had over for his birthday party all enjoyed climbing on it.Date published: 2014-11-17Rated 4 out of 5 by Satisfied in Texas from Well worth the money Our 17 month old loved it instantly. He is now 18 months and climbs the ladder like a pro, slides down on his stomach and knows how to use the periscope. Step 2 continues to produce great kid's toys. I wish this item was taller in the standing area and wish the slide was slightly longer. I think he will outgrow it faster than we would all like. Would love to have another "Treehouse" type item with slides and other fun items for 2 - 6 year olds. Another satisfied customer.Date published: 2008-05-10Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from good for any age my husband and i bought this for our twins. they loved it inside and were right there when my husband put it together. they get more use out of it inside then do outside but they still love it. now they are going to be two we are looking at something a little bigger. this was defiently a great investment for them for a little while. they love the slide and play peekaboo all the time. oh yeah it held up great to the bad weather. we live in northern new yorkDate published: 2009-04-20Rated 5 out of 5 by Gwyn's mom from Love it! I have this indoors for my 16 month old and she became adept at the ladder and various ways of sliding within 2 days. She enjoys sliding herself, blocks and toys. She also likes sitting on the end of the slide and playing with other things. This is a no-regrets purchase thus far. It's also the perfect size. I have it in a bedroom that I use for miscellany and it doesn't take up a lot of room - in fact, if I had a twin bed in there, it would be just fine.Date published: 2008-12-20Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Overall pretty good This is pretty good for little ones (and big ones think it's good for them, as well!). The neighborhood kids are drawn in like honey. The periscope is endlessly fascinating. I will say this: If you live in a windy place you might want to rethink this. It gets gusty sometimes here in South Jersey but the wind takes this down the street. This has caused the periscope to break. It is fortunate that they offer replacement parts and this piece is only [$].Date published: 2008-04-23Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Picking Just The Right Toy I want you to know that I am very pleased with the quality of service that STEP2 provided with my recent purchase. It's a nice play set but at 15 months old my daughter was too tall for it! She could not stand up straight in the fort and this dampened her enjoyment of it, otherwise it would have been a great set. Step 2 should do something about their sizing of these things because my daughter is not exceptionally tall she is in the 95th percentile for height, so within the height range for her age.Date published: 2010-03-12Rated 5 out of 5 by rizogirl from great purchase I purchased this for my 1 year old son as a christmas gift. I love this Treehouse, not only is it offerable but it is so easy to assemble. I did it myself in less than an hour, and that's with my son wanting to play with it. The only thing I see wrong with it is that my son might not fit (height wise) in it by next christmas, since he is as tall as a 2 year old. I would recommented this to anyone with young children.[...]. This is great all round.Date published: 2009-12-23Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great Fun My 2 year old grand son loves this, he takes his muppet friends and they play for hours. I even give him snacks that he takes to his "club House" to eat. Pap and I taught him to use the periscope and we get a good laugh when he tells us of the elephants he sees in the neighbors yard, it is a wonderful way to stimulate their imagination. He has a 3 mo old little brother who next year will also be enjoying this. what a great purchase.Date published: 2012-05-08Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Perfect for Indoors We bought this product for our 20 month old that loves to climb, but we didn't have anything for him to do so safely for the winter (indoors). This item does not take up a lot of room and he loves to go down the slide, just sit and play with his cars and say hello to his stuffed animals using the periscope. It was not hard to assemble and is very sturdy. I would recommend this to anyone that has a child that loves to climb!Date published: 2008-01-04Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Loads of fun! I purchased this for my 14-month-old son to use in his playroom now that it is getting so cold outside. He is having a blast with it. He loves to climb the ladder, slide, and throw his toys down the slide. The product was incredibly easy to assemble and fits in our playroom without taking up the whole space. There is still plenty of room for my son to play with other toys too. We are very pleased with the purchase.Date published: 2009-12-07Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Loads of fun! Out of all the toys that I have put together for my 19 month old son, this was the easiest! My son couldn't wait for it to be put together, which took me no more than 20mins (would have taken less time if my son wasn't "helping").This is the perfect size for a toddler, no worries here about pinched fingers, splinters or spills. Because of this product, my husband and I went out to get our son another Step2 toy...Date published: 2007-05-19Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Love This Treehouse I bought this treehouse, thinking "Oh, boy, another thing to put together". Was pleasantly surprised to find assembly very easy for this arthritic grandma. Directions are very clear. My toddler granddaughter loves it! Two more will be toddlers next year, so also ordered the water play table, too, for a fun summer. I also own 3 Step2 gardening products (still in great shape after 10 yrs hard use) - great company!Date published: 2008-10-28Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great Fun i bought this for my granddaughter. she loves to play in it. When the weather is too cold or rainy she can use it in the house and when the weather is nice it is a great backyard toy. The only negative thing I can say is the platform you stand on to the top of the roof is not very tall. She will outgrow the ability to stand up straight under the roof a long time before she would outgrow enjoying this toy.Date published: 2011-01-02Rated 5 out of 5 by JoshuasMom11 from Would highly recommend!! This is a terrific outdoor staple for our little guy! Our 22 month old is ALWAYS on the go and this was purchased as his first outdoor climber. He LOVES it and because it's on ground outdoors, is very stable and sturdy. He hasn't perfected the use of the periscope yet, but that just makes it more exciting. Perfect for small or large spaces and appears to be the perfect size for the next few years.Date published: 2012-12-15Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Love this Treehouse and Step 2! We purchased this for our 15 month old for Christmas. Ordering and shipping was great, we received before the expected delivery date. I loved that it said on the web site that it comes in the original box, so I knew to watch for and hide it when it got delivered. It was super easy to assemble and my little man LOVES his Treehouse! I have never been disappointed in Step 2 products and would buy again!Date published: 2017-01-03Rated 5 out of 5 by TRINA from Thrilled with this Tree house! I got this Treehouse for my twin grands who are 18 months old and we all couldn't be happier. It was fast & easy to put together. The Treehouse will provide hours of fun and aide in their growth & development. I couldn't locate a single Treehouse in town at Christmas, so imagine my joy to find the manufacturer had some in stock at a great price. The customer service was outstanding.Date published: 2017-01-04Rated 4 out of 5 by Joe the Golfer from Lotsa fun for a little one!! So easy to put together. We bought for our grandson who is 14 months old. He loves it. Great toy - well worth the money - hopefully he won't grow out of it too soon. Only bad thing is the treehouse part (top) is too low - he will be too tall to stand straight up fairly soon - other than that - can't be any better!! Periscope is great too - he laughs out loud when he looks in it.....Date published: 2007-12-20Rated 5 out of 5 by Jaye from Perfect first climbing structure! This product is easy to assemble. Although the early age specification is for 18 months, it is a simply sturdy climbing structure that my 16-month-old grandson enjoyed exploring as soon as he saw it. He climbs and slides on it daily, and will continue to use it for the next few years, fostering his gross motor skills and imaginative play.Date published: 2018-01-15Rated 5 out of 5 by reese rose from My kids LOVE it! My twin 3 year old girls have played non-stop! Morning and night they ask to go in the backyard to play on the slide. They use their imagination playing w/ the periscope too, creating all sorts of adventures. It is sturdy and I feel comfortable with them climbing all over it. The roof also provides some shade from the sun as well! Great product and good investment for our backyard.Date published: 2007-10-10Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from My daughter loves this! My daughter is 16 months old and just got this for Christmas. She loves it and it helped her to quickly learn to climb and slide on her own, which is helping her to become more adventurous on other play equipment as well. I like that the tower is fully secure on all sides so she can't fall off. I do wish the stairs were a little wider, but she seems to manage them just fine.Date published: 2009-01-07Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Grandson's New Favorite! I ordered this for my Grandson's second birthday, and my daughter reports he loves it! He's still learning to climb steps, so this is the right-sized toy, and small enough to set up in a good sized indoor playroom. He loves the slide (who doesn't) and gets a real workout climbing the steps and sliding down. [...].A sturdy, well-made toy, and perfect for the younger adventurer.Date published: 2009-05-14Rated 5 out of 5 by Grandma's house from great size Before buying the lookout tree house for my 1 year old grandson I thought about where I would put it to get the most use from it. Turned out, I am able to move it easily from sun to shade, or out of the way for mowing the lawn, or in a shed for storage. The tree house is durable and sturdy, but just the right size for relocating. Blake loves to play in it, also.Date published: 2015-04-25
