Customer ReviewsRated 5 out of 5 by MainelyMama from 17 month old loves it! Our 17 month old is having the time of his life climbing on this thing and sliding down over and over again. It's seem very durable and if this proves to be just like other Step 2 products, it will last for years if taken care of!The structure was fairly easy to assemble. I did it by myself with a power drill and it took an hour. Be sure not to confuse the bolts...there is ONE that is longer than the others by just a little bit! Took me extra time to find it since I had already bolted it in in the wrong place!Date published: 2013-06-02Rated 4 out of 5 by Mom of a cute little boy from He likes it My son (18 months) is a climber and he LOVES THIS. I wondered if 2 slides would be redundant but he climbs up one side and down the other. Its the perfect height for him to feel like he is climbing and me to not feel like I have to stay right next to him. I can play with him or sit on the porch an watch him. Enough room for his 2 year old friend to play with him. I wish the slide was little slicker because he doesn't slide very fast...I don't think he minds because it makes it easier for him to climb up it.Date published: 2011-05-19Rated 5 out of 5 by J & A's Mommy from Great Compact Climber for Toddlers! We got this climber for my 3 year old daughter and 1 year old son. It's the perfect size for them! The 2 slides are great and my daughter is already a pro at scaling the wall. It was fairly easy to put together (according to my husband) and looks great in the yard. It's compact and doesn't take up too much space. If you have older children, this may be a bit small for them, but for younger kids it is great! I do wish the platforms were just a bit larger, but my kids don't seem to mind.Date published: 2010-04-30Rated 5 out of 5 by Laney's mom from Lots to do! We purchased this for our daughter when she turned one-year-old - as I didn't want to invest in something she would outgrow quickly... but wanted something that could challenge her and grow with her for years to come. (Considering the cost of all of these climbers and slides!)We researched climbers and slides extensively and determined that this model had the best of all worlds - small slide, large slide, steps, climbing wall, steering wheel...Now, she is 18-months and has really mastered the slides and loves the steering wheel. She & her cousins (4 & 6) take turns going down the slide and then run to climb back up again. We have this climber/slide underneath our deck on a patio (as I didn't want to kill the grass by putting it out on the lawn.)It's worked out great in that location.I would highly recommend this product!Date published: 2010-10-26Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great yard equipment Our 2-yr old daughter LOVES her "big toy" in the yard, and our 14-mo old neighbor is equally enthralled. They can climb up and go down the slides for hours - and my daughter has started using the climbing wall with some help. She'll grow into it well, although I doubt it will be a good fit past 4 years old or so... Highly recommended - I did a lot of research and am very happy with my decision.Date published: 2011-04-04Rated 5 out of 5 by Mother of a young climber from works great for indoor too My 18mo daughter is loving this. Easy assemble, but it's true, a gigantic box. the contents inside however are not. We currently are using this indoors because it rains a lot here. We assembled only one of the slides to save space and have it against the wall. It's been one of our best purchases. My daughter is into climbing and this is just perfect. Well designed.Date published: 2010-05-04Rated 4 out of 5 by Outdoor enthusiasts from Well made, our son not ready for it Well made, very cheerful colors, easy to assemble. Based on other reviews, we bought this for our 19 month old son. We have found it difficult for him to climb safely as it's not possible to easily assist him upon the platforms without risking a fall. We are sure he'll enjoy it 6 or more months down the line but for this summer, we wish we purchased something smaller.Date published: 2011-04-30Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from LOVE IT We ordered the double slide climber for our little boy's 1st birthday. It was so easy to put together, took my husband and I about 30 minutes. It is also easy for the two of us to move it around our yard. My 1 year old is perfect size and I think he will have a great time on it for many years to come! I would recommend this product for children under the age of 4.Date published: 2010-05-19Rated 4 out of 5 by MommaMomma from Fun! The smaller slide became unattractive as soon as they discovered the bigger slide. There isn't much room to do anything on it, but go down the slides. My children are almost two, but I can see them outgrowing it quickly. The directions are black and white pictures only, making assembly challenging. Overall my kids love playing on it, and that's all that matters.Date published: 2011-03-27Rated 4 out of 5 by joss's nanny from great toddler playset This playset is great for my 2 yr old granddaughter. She can climb and slide on it without my help, which she loves because she's very independent. It was real easy to put together but wish the directions were a bit more detailed. I would love to see a roof on it, for the cost this should definitely be included. Overall...great playset for toddlers and preschool.Date published: 2012-04-27Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Perfect for Toddlers Love it! Two of the best parts were the growing slides and that it has no top. This doesn't limit height, which is critical for different age groups and my tall 2 year old granddaughter. So many things for children to use their imagination while using. She loves playing hide-and-seek in, around, and under it. Would definitely recommend to other families.Date published: 2016-07-20Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Wish I could play on it too! The only complaint I have about this item since it is an outdoor item is that in the VA sun it gets so hot. Almost to the point of it might burn sensitive skin! I wish there was a way to make it get not so hot! We brought it inside for my 2 year old to use. He now LOVES it! Provides lots of excersize. He even sits on it to read his booksDate published: 2010-05-28Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Love It! I purchased the climber from a prominent retailer online. My husband and I assembled it in less than an hour. Today we had a BBQ with ten children from 1-5 years old and they all loved it. My 15 month old son couldn't stop playing on it. It was definately worth the money! I would recommend it to anyone with a high energy toddler.Date published: 2010-06-26Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Worth the money Shipping was fast. The assembly took a little over an hour because the directions weren't great. My husband put it together himself. My one year old seems to enjoy although she has only been on it once so far. Seems sturdy enough and well made. Hoping it will last for several years or until she outgrows it.Date published: 2017-02-21Rated 5 out of 5 by Momof3C's from Great We bought this for our playroom and LOVE it for the kids. Bright and fun. My kids are older...ages 4&7 but they enjoy it. We also have a 10 month old who likes when we put him on the smaller slide. So good for all ages.If you buy this locally, like we did, prepare for a HUGE box. Seriously HUGE LOLDate published: 2010-04-17Rated 1 out of 5 by Dachhounds from Missing parts I was really upset. I got this large heavy box home. I unpacked it only to findout pieces were missing. Unfortunately, my daughter saw the slides and started to cry when I had to repack it to return to the store per the manager instruction. Now my daughter has to wait [...] for a replacement.Date published: 2011-08-17Rated 5 out of 5 by mariechat from great product i bought this for my 17 month son. the only problem is he can not climb up the slides by himself. i have to lift him up. it does say ages 2 and up, but i am hopeing in the next few months he will be able to climb up on his own. i wanted something he could grow into, and this is perfectDate published: 2010-05-14Rated 5 out of 5 by Cullen's Mom from Backyard Fun! The product was fairly easy to put together but definitely took two people to secure the bolts from above and below. Overall it's been an excellent purchase. Bought for my 15 month old, my 5 and 8 year old both enjoy playing with their younger sibling on this. Really glad we got this!Date published: 2012-08-18Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Just what we hoped it would be We purchased this as a gift for our special needs grandson who is physically challenged but excited by this climber/slide unit. We set it up indoors to provide winter exercise. It was easy enough to put together (more than one person is really needed) and seems durable and sturdy.Date published: 2015-12-29Rated 5 out of 5 by Supermom of two from Great 1sy Playgym THe look on my daughter's face when she walked int he backyard was worth it all, but the added independance she gained from exploring her playgym was priceless. Easy assembly my teenagers put it together quickly. For the price I don't know that I would buy again since is a little on the smaller side.Date published: 2010-05-11Rated 4 out of 5 by Kelsey from Great Toddler Playset My 1 and 3 year old both have lots of fun with this. It's the perfect size for those ages - I was pleasantly surprised at how well my 1 year old could play on it safely.Assembly was easy and the size is great - perfect for a small backyard. We love it!Date published: 2010-05-22Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great product Takes 2 people to set up. The directions manual is poorly designed. You have to flip though the pages to find the next step.Other than that it is a great product. Although with my son's short attention span he doesn't play on it very long lolDate published: 2011-08-28Rated 5 out of 5 by Yaya from Kids Love It This is perfect for my young ones in my daycare. The older toddlers like it, also! Took a bit to assemble, has screws as opposed to just snapping together. I like that it’s easy to move about since, it’s not too large.Date published: 2017-11-08Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great product cute addition This product is set up in the toddler zone of my indoor play area bsuiness. It has held up so far with many kids through out the day and the week. It is also very easy to clean and it's very cute .Date published: 2016-07-20Rated 5 out of 5 by Backyard Family from Great Climber! Our two year old son loves this climber! While I feel confident it will grow with him for a while, it would probably be a disappointing climber for a 5 or 6 year old as its scale isn't really on par for a new purchase for kids of that age.The box was much larger than we expected but it wasn't heavy. Assembly was simple and the instructions were easy to follow. We assembled it with 2 adults in about 15mins with a power screwdriver. Our son loves the slides (he climbs up one down the other-repeat), the ship wheel and, while he's a bit small for the climbing wall, he loves to try it. We like that it's easy to move around the yard to protect the grass, its colors are aesthetically pleasing, and the climber is very sturdy feeling. We all love that it seems to be a pirate ship. Arr me matey! My only very minor complaint is there are groves in the deck that helps create traction when wet but there are no drain holes (presumably to keep water from getting inside the unit). When it rains, we have to wipe the deck down to get all the water out of the groves to keep Mr. Pirate from trying to drink it - Eww.Date published: 2010-04-19Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from So glad I purchased! We purchased this for our 22 month old for Christmas. It was easy to put together. And our daughter LOVES it!!! So glad we ordered it, she will be able to play on it for years to come!!!Date published: 2010-12-30
