Customer ReviewsRated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Perfect for twins We love this wagon! We go for walks almost everyday with it. In the winter it was great to put them in and cover them with a quilt too. Our two 18 month olds will stay without inside without complaint (unlike the stroller). I also love this because it is so much smaller and easier to bring in and out of places than our double stroller. I put it in the back of the van and take it everywhere. For example, yesterday we went to the library. With toddler twins it is impossible to keep them together and not destroy things. I just kept them in their wagon, seated them next to the toddler book shelves and was able to moderate and play SO easily. They also think the cup holders are great.Date published: 2009-04-10Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great Wagon We have the older model of this wagon and we love it! It is very durable. Unfortunately ours is quite noisy on pavement...I ordered replacement wheels from Step 2 in hopes that they would dampen the sound, but they didn't. And since the new wheels are the same as those on the newer wagons I can only assume that all of these wagons are loud on pavement (as in the whole neighborhood can hear us coming!). The only other downside is that our daughter has pinched her fingers in the door a few times trying to get in/out. Not much way to design it so that doesn't happen, just something to keep in mind to teach your little ones to avoid. Also, we have the tag-a-long trailer...very cool!Date published: 2008-03-29Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great wagon! My 21-month-old daughter LOVES this wagon. She loved "helping" me put it together, and helped me get it downstairs from our apartment to give it a test run. It's a little on the bulky side (for a car ride to a park or something) but the lighter weight is nice for transport. We also got the trailer for trips to the zoo, etc. and it's also a great item! Durable hard plastic, easy to clean, and won't break the bank as far as price. Plus it's got two cup holders, the under seat storage under the rear seat, and a little door (which my daughter loves opening and shutting when she's not strapped in)!Date published: 2007-06-01Rated 2 out of 5 by Keith M from Assembly instructions needs work My son got this as a Christmas gift, and he had fun riding his wagon around. However, assembling it would require you to read the instructions and think if what's written or pictured on the instructions makes sense; this could be a problem if whoever is assembling this is not very mechanically inclined. I ended up placing the front axle in a way that the wrong side of the wheels are facing outward when the wagon is moving forward; good thing there were extra caps so I was able to pry the caps off and switch the axles so the correct side of the wheels now face outward when going forward.Date published: 2010-01-03Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great product My kids love this wagon. My husband did not have any trouble putting this together, once he followed the directions. We also purchased the trailer, it will easily attach to the wagon. The wagon fits into my SUV trunk without any trouble. It may not fit into a regular car trunk. That would be something to consider. I like the fact that both my kids can safely sit inside the wagon instead of having one in the stroller and trying to hold on to my 4 year old at the same time, this is so much easier. The wagon handled very well so far. We are looking forward to many trips to the zoo.Date published: 2009-07-02Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from We liked the first Wagon so much, we bought a second one! We purchased a Wagon For Two Plus (blue), four years ago from an Aldi store in Clifton Park, NY, for our first granddaughter, Piper. Assembly was easy and the quality is excellent. It has been put to good use. She has a brother due in July, whom I'm sure will love it also. The one we purchased in March (green) was for our other grandchildren, Miriam and Lionel. They fell in love with it at first sight. Again, assembly was easy, and the quality of the construction remains consistently high! Miriam & Lionel's mom likes the little compartment to store her house key, etc.Date published: 2017-05-02Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from wheels broke after normal use We loved this wagon at first. My son got it for christmas and it worked great...my 78 year old grandfather put it together with out a problem. We wheeled him around the neighborhood with ease and he loved it! In June we took it to the zoo my 4 year old son who weighs about 35lbs was the only one in the wagon with a beachbag of snacks. We got half way in the zoo and the front wheel broke the metal rod of the wheel bent. I have tried to get a replacement wheel and rod but its impossible. I dont know how or why this happened..there was minimal weight in the wagon. So now it is unusable and we are looking for a different wagon. Also the door is very hard to open and close..we constantly had to help our child in and out.Date published: 2010-05-23Rated 4 out of 5 by fenjen from Love our new Wagon for Two Plus! We purchased this wagon after watching our almost 2 year old daughter play in one at her grandmother's house. She LOVES the door and likes to sit a stuffed "friend" in the extra seat. The wagon is really easy to pull and I like that it seems very durable. The one con is that there is no canopy option unless you're willing to give up the door. As a result, we purchased a clip on umbrella from another major brand - it works great and looks really cute - like a little parasol! I would recommend this product to others and have - our neighbor is planning on buying one for her daughter soon. I give the product 4 stars because of the lack of canopy option and the drab color, but I'm really pleased with the purchase overall.Date published: 2010-03-23Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Awesome Wagon I purchased this wagon 2 years ago when my oldest was 2. I had to assemble myself because husband was overseas. Followed directions and was a breeze for me. This wagon is amazing. Its been to zoos, disneyworld, seaworld, parks, all over our property and up and down our bumpy country roads. Thru all of that plus some im probably forgetting it has been great. Couldnt ask for better. Now oldest is 4 and have a 1 year old and still going to all those places again with both in it and still standing up fine and doesnt look to be having a problem for a long time.Date published: 2013-04-10Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Love it, but small problem We love the wagon. However, there is not enough room for legs and feet. My children are 2 and 3 years old and fight and kick for space to put their little feet. Also, we do not use the door on the wagon because the latch is flimsy and opens too easily. The children just crawl in and out of the wagon. The wagon would be fine without a door at all.Other than those two minor problems, the wagon is great. We use it all the time at home. The children love to get rides in it. The new handle is designed nicely because it can't hit the children in the head like on the old design. We also purchased the tag along and it worked wonders at the county fair this year. We plan on using the wagon and tag along when we go to the zoo later this month.Date published: 2009-08-10Rated 5 out of 5 by MamaTo3Boys from Great Wagon! Santa brought this wagon for our almost one year old son for Christmas. From what Santa says assembly was incredibly easy. All the pieces were there, no issues with the wheels. Since receiving this wagon it has been used countless times. It's been used as a toy bin inside the house. Our 6 and 4 year old boys have both sat in it comfortably. Our 1 year loves it! We use it when we go on walks to the park, around the lake, etc. It's also great to haul our cooler when we go on picnics. Overall I'd say this is a great wagon. Exceptional quality!Date published: 2011-05-08Rated 4 out of 5 by Lynn Mom of 4-Busy-Bodies from Fun Wagon But Front Wheels Bend My children have loved this wagon! They have liked opening and closing the door, they like to hide things under the seat, and has served it's purpose well. I have loved it because it was easy to assemble, it's lightweight and easy to turn. However, the front wheels do tend to bend, especially when there are two children in the wagon and you hit a few bumps. The plastic holding the wheel bar in also tents to stretch so that even if you do get new wheels they won't sit in straight anyway. That's a little disappointing, but overall it a good wagon!Date published: 2008-08-09Rated 4 out of 5 by Canadian eh! from Just goes, and goes, and goes, and goes! With the exception of the front wheels the Wagon For Two is indestructible. We have had our wagon and the tag along for well over 6 years, and we have taken it everywhere from the mall to the zoo to festivals, and it have never let us down. When we first bought it the front wheels needed replaced because of a flaw, however the second set of wheels that we will be getting is because they are just plain worn out after many, many, many kilometers of walking. Since then we have gotten many other products from Step 2 because of it's great quality!Date published: 2007-09-24Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Wheels are a weak design My daughter absolutely loves this wagon, BUT, the front wheels have made it unusable. The rods that support the front wheels have rounded out the holes in the plastic and cause the front end of the wagon to wobble like crazy, making it hard for me to pull and uncomfortable for my daughter. Replacing the wheels and rods won't solve the problem as its use has damaged the plastic.Date published: 2011-05-24Rated 4 out of 5 by mommapajama from Great wagon - bum door! We got this wagon for our son for his 1st birthday in November. He absolutely loves riding in it and he's the envy of all the kids at the park. My only complaint is that after having it only a few months, we can't get the door to close unless we kick it. One time my son used the door for support while climbing out, and since the door wasn't closed tightly, he fell out and scraped his face on the cement. He wasn't seriously hurt, but now we make sure to kick the door closed each time he rides in it and we still use it almost daily.Date published: 2008-08-26Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from I like this wagon I was excited about getting my daughter this wagon. She's 20 months and absolutely loves it. She opens the door and plays in it in the house and we play outside with it. I feel it is well made from a durability standpoint and the price is awesome considering you get seatbelts and cup holders. The only issue I have with this wagon is it doesn't turn well because the wheels are not attached to the handle. If step2 could make any improvement, that would be my want. otherwise, I would recommend this for EVERY single parent!!Date published: 2007-04-24Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Wheels broken, problems with door After 6 months of ordinary & reasonable use, the wheels broke. Wheels are not durable - I think made of plastic. The door was always difficult to close and open. The door and its latch are poorly designed and unsafe for young children. If you're looking for a durable & safe wagon for toddlers, this is not the one. Look for something else.Date published: 2010-04-10Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from The most sturdy wagon available! We love this wagon! We have used it to tow the kids around in the yard as well as flowers, tools and animals. It is so rugged and seems to be just the right size to do almost everything. We take our youngest out in it for Halloween and have even built Halloween floats for our children to fit over the wagon for a full costume effect.I use the wagon for moving trees and my kids love to store things in the seat like sidewalk chalk and small toys. I will prob. buy the cart for my grandchildren someday! :O) Great product!Date published: 2009-12-28Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed in DC from Not Worth It!!! The wheels are flimsy and the hub broke off one wheel making the wagon unusuable -- we were only able to use it for three weeks. I should have opted for a different brand -- it would have saved me time and money; not to mention having a disappointed toddler that cannot use his wagon.Date published: 2007-09-17Rated 5 out of 5 by mamabulldog from Beautiful wagon!! Very nice wagon and excellent price! Better to buy directly from step2. [...] My 3 year old loves her wagon. We take her for rides around the neighborhood and she just soaks in the sunshine! The wagon is very good quality and it really looks like it will last us a long while. The wheels are very quiet too. Smooth ride! One thing I wish someone would have said was that the wagon is not made to lay flat inside. There are 2 seats inside that are perminate. So if you want a flat bottom where someone can lay down, don't get this wagon. In order for the kids to lay flat, they will need a blanket or pillow to fill in the bottom. Not really that important to me, but it could help someone to know that. Not like the old metal wagon, more improved for 2 little ones to enjoy their ride.Date published: 2010-02-05Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from We love this little green monster! we love our " green monster". we have 4 children, which our 2 youngests are getting too big for strollers. I wasnt 100% on this at the time of purchase. I thought my 5 year old would be too big and have no legs room....surprise!! It is the perfect fit...we have used it for our daily walks, fair grounds, amusement park, and the mall. Its light weight...very easy to throw up on top of the suv and strap it down and off we go...hopfully soon to add to it and buy the little attachable wagon for more storage.Date published: 2013-01-03Rated 3 out of 5 by Walking Mom of 2 from Okay product I bought this product so I could take both of my children for walks and they could both be seated.Pro's:the kids like it b/c they face each otherthey can both be seated.Con's:there is not enough leg room (i have a 4yrs. and a 2yrs.)the wheels on the wagon have become warped and I have used it sparingly in the summer time. They sent me new wheels which was great however, the new wheels are now warped. I live in a city so I'm not on uneven or rocky terrain. This is why I am not so keen on this product.Date published: 2007-10-19Rated 1 out of 5 by Chief from Front wheels break easily Many in my neighborhood have the same problem with the front wheel breaking where it attaches to the wagon. The plastic stretches out and the front wheel will no longer roll straight. We had a red wagon for 15 years before this one that lasted a short time.Date published: 2008-04-19Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Does't stand the test of time Every Mom with more than one child needs a wagon - but the Step 2 wheel became wobbly very early on and broke through the plastic. I received a replacement wheel, but it didn't help. So now I have to buy a new wagon after only one year!Date published: 2007-06-13Rated 4 out of 5 by sheila mommy from Awesome wagon I bought this secondhand, and it's like brand new! I had to order an extra seatbelt which was absolutely no problem, the customer service dept. was awesome and very helpful and quick! I love this as it came with the trailer too. I am planning to use it for trick or treat and use the trailer for the treats! My child is 14 months old and has a 10 month old friend going with us, this will be perfect!! The handle is long enough for daddy not to have to bend over. I am very excited to have this set.Date published: 2010-10-25Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Terrible Product - Do Not Buy I would NOT recommend this product. It was difficult to put together and didn't have all the right hardware. I had to go to our local hardware store to BUY some of the hardware. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE.Date published: 2015-02-13Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great buy! This wagon is great...chose this over the Radio Flyer equivalent based on the positive reviews. Also this one has a door which is something the Flyer doesn't have. A major plus for inquisitive 2 year olds! It is a little difficult to follow the included instructions, but with some patience should be a problem. My daughter loves this wagon! Tip for Step 2...beef up the accessories. Had to buy a "radio flyer mini clamp on parasol" since Step 2 doesn't make one. Parent's buy those accessories up!Date published: 2008-12-29Rated 5 out of 5 by Mamaofthreebigkids from Perfect wagon My two youngest are 13 months apart and we have been using the wagon for the two of them since the youngest was 4 months old. They are now 4 and 5 and they still fit into it and they are big boys. Its rather heavy to pull as their combined weight is over 100 lbs but it still works to pull them. Unfortunately we came home to see the back wheel broken on it and are in the process of getting that replaced. Not sure what happened but I think someone went for a joy ride in it when we weren't home.Date published: 2010-06-06Rated 4 out of 5 by Amy Mom from Really happy with this wagon We've had this wagon for two seasons now and have had no problems. My 2 yr. old daughter absolutely adores it! She runs outside screaming w-a-g-o-n at the top of her lungs every day and we take some very bumpy rides over the fields on our property. It takes a lot of abuse and fits well in the back of our suv when we want to go elsewhere. I do wish they made a canopy to attach to this, but other than that, knock on wood - no problems, it's holding up great, and my toddler thinks it's super.Date published: 2008-06-06Rated 2 out of 5 by groberry from Nice wagon, but the wheels broke! We love this wagon, but after about a year the wheels have broken/bent. They broke in the fall and we haven't had a chance to fix yet, but now that the weather is looking up. Not sure why they broke as it we didn't use it often and it was kept indoors when we weren't using. Also, the door has never really opened or closed easily. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend over other particular wagons, since we're the only people the in neighborhood with this wagon and it's a broken wagon.Date published: 2010-03-21
