Calling All Little Drivers: New Foot-to-Floor Coming Fall 2014!

Rev your engines! With the global license from Ford Motor Company, Step2 is launching the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Foot-to-Floor that will wow parents and children alike! With its monstrous wheels, large grill and rugged styling, Step2’s Raptor foot-to-floor lets miniature drivers experience the real deal! Available to global customers in 2014, Step2 showcased the Raptor at the International Toy Fair in Nuremberg, Germany.

Step2 modeled its Raptor foot-to-floor after the high performance F-150 SVT Raptor pick-up truck. As the number one selling truck in the US for 37 years, the look and the name of the F-Series are both recognizable and loved. “We’re excited to launch the Ford Raptor this fall and think kids are going to love pretending they’re in the driver’s seat of this classic American truck,” says Step2’s Chief Marketing Officer Jerry McDermott.

Drawing from it’ success in the foot-to-floor category, Step2 brings the innovative 360 degree turning to the new Raptor. Kids can propel themselves in any direction and turn corners with ease thanks to the additional 5^th wheel. The two opening doors, steering wheel and honking horn are fun features that build little drivers’ sense of independence.

Step2 extends the life of the product and adds additional value with an attachable handle and floor board that inserts easily into the car. For the littlest drivers who aren’t ready to propel themselves, they can hop aboard and take a ride with mom or dad pushing comfortably behind. Cup holders for drinks on the go and storage in the bed of the truck for other toys make a ride around the neighborhood that much nicer.
