Summer is upon us! That means cookouts, parades, and long weekends. Brighten your holiday and show your patriotism with these easy to make Patriotic Wind Socks!
Easy to Make Patriotic Wind Sock Craft
Supplies:
- Empty tin cans
- Paint
- Paint Brush
- Yarn or twine
- Streamers
- Star Stickers
- Hammer
- Nail
- Glue
1. Paint the cans with at least 2 coats of acrylic paint.
2. Apply some festive stars. We found ours at a local craft store.
3. Use your hammer and nail to make 2 holes near the solid ends of your cans. After the hole is made, push your yarn or twine through and tie it on the inside of the can.
4. Cut your streamers to the desired length. Put some glue on one end of the streamer and apply it to the inside of the can.
Your patriotic wind sock is now complete! Add it to your trees and decorate your yard with them, but don’t leave them out in the rain. You can also bring them inside for festive indoor parties.
