Comments about Step2 All Around Easel for Two™:

After checking numerous reviews I purchased this for my children, ages 3 & 5. It may look a bit little tike"ish" for an older child but it is very sturdy.
My husband used a hammer to get it in place; it won't be going anywhere. It is not compact, but doesn't take up much space (we have a small house).
My children love to draw and this saves paper.
The magnets include a lot of smaller pieces that could be a choking hazard to an infant.

Loved the extras included in the box (magnets)
Still had to buy markers and chalk but that's OK as they were the stocking stuffers for this present!

Comments about Step2 All Around Easel for Two™:

I am a grandmother of twins who are now three. I brought two and this was the best thing I did for Christmas. The twins play school and draw. They tell stories to each other of what they are drawing on the board. All of my four kids are expecting in 2013 and I see a lot of gifts coming from products of Step 2. Great gift.

Comments about Step2 All Around Easel for Two™:

As a homeschool mom, I'm always on the lookout for items that can be used time and time again, in new and creative ways, and this writing, drawing and playing easel from Step 2 is perfect!

Now, with the two sides both available for play, a big and little brother can both have a "piece" of Easel. very sturdy. The Easel is simple to clean, with smooth plastic and storage bins that come off to clean as well. It is lightweight and can be moved from one room to another for use easily.

A nice addition to a childs room or toyroom.
I am a Step2 Review Mom and I received this easel for review.

Kimberley T: "We really enjoy our All Around Easel, we purchased it Nov. 2012 for our son:) The compartment on the side and underneath give you lots of room, we actually sit an entire dish of paint under it in the yellow compartment when painting and all of the brushes along with a cup of water will fit in the side blue compartments. When not painting we store lots of large chalk sticks on one side and crayons on the other along with stamps and other goodies in the middle tray! I love this easel b/c two or four children can play at once due to the open design and it holds so much!! The other Easel for Two has only a very small space under the edge of the board for magnetic letters and only a piece or two of chalk. You would need extra counter space if you wanted to have additional chalk or even paint:( The Easel for two does collapse and fold however the All Around Easel does not but we have not had any issues of it being in the way, it is very streamlined so it is not a huge space taker:) We can't say enough about it, great construction, easy to assemble, holds a lot of art supplies which is what is should do!! Great product!" Feb 6, 2014

Barbara J L: I liked the other easel for two because it gives the choice of what they want to do for activities. There is a little mess from the chalk but the kids enjoyed marking up the boards. Watch out for the choice of markers that you use on the white board. Step 2 makes great toys. I brought two one for a boy and girl twins. Feb 9, 2014

Karen B: My Grandson who is now over 2 loves this product. There could be a choking hazard; some of the magnets that come with the set are small. I put the small magnets away until he was older and supervised him when playing with the other magnets because they are flexible. I made sure when he was younger to only put out the larger magnets and limit the amount so I could keep track of them, the set comes with quite a few magnets.

If the magnets you use on the frig are big and not a choking hazard then I would use them until he is older. I am sure he will love to use them on this board until he is old enough to use the magnets that come with the set.

Barbara J L: correction... to my last reply. THIS DOES NOT HAVE TWO CLIPS. I had to pull them out of storage to verify and looked at the piece. I remember now that we did not use the clip at all because of the location of the paint for 2 year olds. They loved this marker board compared to the one that we had with two clips. Step 2 makes wonderful toys and I am a strong supporter of their products. Jun 24, 2014
