My daughter (15 months) loves this kitchen. I like that you can pick green or red to go with your home decor. She plays with the phone and stove a lot. I wish there were more sounds, but I didn't want to get the larger one. Only two things I wish were different. The refrigerator door doesn't stay shut very well and the oven door stays closed too well, it takes some elbow grease to get it open. That could just be the case with mine. I assembled it during her nap (in 1 hour). Definitly use an electric screw driver. I bought more accessories to go with it because it has the capacity to hold more. It stands up well on tile and carpet and is very sturdy. I will be keeping this for a long time. I feel comfotable with the plastic curved edges opposed to wood ones with sharp edges and it's light enough to move from room to room. This kitchen is worth it, I would recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this kitchen recently for my family daycare to replace a very old Step 2 kitchen that I had. I have infants and toddlers up to age 3 and thought they would love this kitchen. Today is the third day of use. I don't think the oven door will last, since the 2 yr. olds tend to kneel on it once they open it. The 10 mo. old opens the cupboard and refrigerator doors and pushes on them so hard that I'm afraid they won't last long either. The railing in front of the dish rack is flimsy and a few good tugs will probably break it. The kids do love the sounds the burner and phone makes. I had a lot of play food and accessories already, so that makes it more fun for the kids. This kitchen is not nearly as sturdy as the old one I had, but it is more interesting to the kids. I found the storage to be adequate.

After much research, I picked out this kitchen for our son's 2nd birthday (gift from Grandma). He's really big for his age (38"), so I was worried that it might be too small for him, but it's perfect! He loves it! He loves the buttons on the microwave and the stove, and likes to cook on the bubbling burner. Assembly (including sticking on the decals) was quick and took less than an hour. He loves this kitchen and the dishes that came with it. The only drawback is that you can't turn off the sound effects so the batteries don't last long (could be because he pushes them nonstop!) Not that big of a deal. We have no regrets at all about choosing this kitchen!!

Great design, really gives them the feel of cooking. great quality, wont fall apart. Prior to this I got this "kitchen" so I thought, when we got it put it together, it was the size for a doll to play with. very misleading. I was upset, our daughter wasnt she has a great time with it...but NOW she is have a wonderful time. Making cookies, soup...she loves it

My two-year-old loves this! The accessories are fun for him and safe for his 8-month-old sister, and the kitchen is sturdy enough for her to pull to stand on to watch him play. It's also been great for introducing pretend play. I keep it in the kitchen so while I'm cooking, my kids are too!

Love step 2 products. BUT.....not liking the imported parts that come with them. I try to buy American made products as much as possible. There was a problem with one of the parts. Step 2 promptly replaced it, but it was one of the imported parts that was defective. Nuff said??

We love this kitchen! We bought this for our 2 year old boy and he has been playing with it constantly since we put it together. It's the first thing he goes to when he gets up in the morning and after naps. We also purchased the 101 piece play food set. The kitchen has a lot of storage (the accessories that came with it and the extra food we purchased all fits in the kitchen with no extra storage needed). My 2 year old REALLY loves the boiling/sizzling sounds and the keypads for the oven and microwave.
Service and delivery comments:
The only thing I would change/improve is to add a few buttons that make noise to the fridge (ie ice cubes falling, water, etc), instead of just a sticker.
