We purchased this kitchen as a Christmas present for my 19 month old son. We definitely wanted a kitchen with electronic buttons on the microwave because my son constantly loves to 'help' push the buttons on ours. We chose this kitchen because it looked realistic, we liked the placement/location of the appliances and cupboards, it had the features we wanted, and it was reasonably priced. My son loves his new kitchen and plays with it all the time. I am very happy we purchased this product!

After tons of research on play kitchens of all kinds....wood, plastic, everything in between....I chose this kitchen because I thought it looked so realistic and cute. I still love the look of the kitchen and it looks adorable put together, but am slightly disappointed in the flimsiness of the cabinet doors, placement of fridge and very disappointed in the design of the refrigerator door! The door "slides" right in to place during assembly, but falls off every time it's pulled open. Other than that, I'm very happy with the kitchen, but do think my girls will want a wooden one in a couple of years because kids just like opening and closing cabinets, fridge doors, etc. that feel real like mommy and daddy's!

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle™ PartyTime Kitchen:
My main complaint is that the refrigerator door doesn't stay on. It seems the holes were in the wrong place and the wrong size/shape. There were some other misalignment, but we managed to put it together nonetheless. The phone doesn't stay in the holder and keeps falling out. Otherwise, my kids seem to be enjoying it, particularly the sounds. The stove is pretty cute. I am going to have to purchase the food package because there isn't much to do without that. I wish it came with the kitchen....

Love this kitchen ! It was missing a cupboard door, but Step2 mailed one out to us immediately , their customer service is second to none. This kitchen is the perfect size, not too big, not too small , well crafted , assembly took just under an hour from box to finished.

A last minute christmas gift for my twin 2 year old daughters. It arrived on the eve which was a big plus since I didnt expect it. Easy to assemble - recommend to definitely use a power drill! The girls have been playing with it since. They no longer bug me as I'm making dinner since I set up next to the kitchen. They love it!!

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle™ PartyTime Kitchen:
Well, I purchased this for my daughter's Christmas present. She's age 2. I was extremely happy to receive this kitchen and I have to say I am a little disappointed in it. The kitchens so much smaller than the picture makes it look; but other than that I guess I can't complain. What makes this kitchen fun is how it make noises, the microwave has buttons that make noises, the phone makes noises and there is a light underneath the kitchen microwave. The size "issue" to me is not just based on this kitchen alone, I had purchased about 2 other kitchens and they were both just as small. So I guess that is normal, just wish one day Step 2 would make them a little larger as most kids play with these items well until they are age 10+. I pulled a muscle trying to put this kitchen together because you have to screw in screws and they did NOT start the holes so I really should have used a drill. It's a little difficult to put together but luckily I had a guy to put it together for me. The Shelf for the "spices" is a little flimsy, and one of my cabinets does not close properly. But thats something I will call the manufacturer for. Other than that, its decent. Just not what I was hoping for...

Time consuming to put together, but well worth the results. I know it was an issue for some, but the clock works and keeps correct time! It didn't work at first but with a little help (moving the hands a bit and making sure there was good battery contact) it started working and continues to work fine a few weeks later. Also, there was an issue with the spice rack not fitting properly but that was corrected by drilling new holes for placement. A very easy fix for what was also an issue in some of the reviews. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this kitchen for all those who are considering it. Great quality item which was shipped in a timely manner and item was properly packaged for shipping with great on-line communication by Step2. Thank you! A Christmas gift the children loved (ages 1-4) and all played together! Another Christmas miracle. :)
