We purchased this kitchen as a Christmas present for my 19 month old son. We definitely wanted a kitchen with electronic buttons on the microwave because my son constantly loves to 'help' push the buttons on ours. We chose this kitchen because it looked realistic, we liked the placement/location of the appliances and cupboards, it had the features we wanted, and it was reasonably priced. My son loves his new kitchen and plays with it all the time. I am very happy we purchased this product!

After tons of research on play kitchens of all kinds....wood, plastic, everything in between....I chose this kitchen because I thought it looked so realistic and cute. I still love the look of the kitchen and it looks adorable put together, but am slightly disappointed in the flimsiness of the cabinet doors, placement of fridge and very disappointed in the design of the refrigerator door! The door "slides" right in to place during assembly, but falls off every time it's pulled open. Other than that, I'm very happy with the kitchen, but do think my girls will want a wooden one in a couple of years because kids just like opening and closing cabinets, fridge doors, etc. that feel real like mommy and daddy's!

Very quick delivery! Customer service was great! Only con is that I wish the oven and fridge made noise! It would be nice if everything was interactive even if the sink made noise when you press faucet down! Quality isn't the best! But my daughter is two and loves it!!!

It took me about 1 or 2 hours to assemble because i was doing everything by hand (screw driver) which left me with a sore right hand BUT if you have those electric ones you should be okay :) I really liked it and my girls are enjoying it everyday.

Comments about Step2 LifeStyle™ PartyTime Kitchen:

This is the 3rd kitchen we purchased for our grandchildren. We bought 2 from a different manufacturer 2 years ago, 1 for our home and 1 for grandkids' home. It was so difficult to put together that my son took theirs back and we kept the other at our home. This year, we purchased the Step 2 for the kids to have at their home. There was some assembly, but very reasonable. What a difference!

When the kitchen arrived, the backsplash was bent and the refrigerator door did not close properly. I called customer service and they cheerfully and promptly replaced both at no charge.

I had purchased a tub of play food at a garage sale for the old kitchen. If I had not done so, purchasing a food pack would have been a nice addition to this kitchen.

In summary, I would recommend Step Two products to anyone and I was delighted with their Customer Service.

Kathy M: We bought this for our Granddaughter for Christmas 2012. She loves it and plays with it daily...and that was a year ago!!! It is well built, fun and the sounds make her want to cook all day!! Jan 27, 2014
Cheryl P: Great features for a great price. My granddaughter LOVES it! May 6, 2013
A shopper asked: Hello, We are considering the Lifestyle Dream vs. the Lifestyle Partime kitchen. Any thoughts/advice? Would like to order today. thanks Jan 30, 2014

Catherine W: I chose the Party time Kitchen over the Dream. I liked the look of the partytime better. I feel it doesn't take up a lot of space in my play room yet is a good size for my 5, 3, and 16 month old to all play with and enjoy. They play with it a lot and I bought it 2 years ago. I paid full price for it and I see it is on sale now for 140 great price! It's good quality and has held up well. I put it together myself and it took a few hours. Directions were clear and easy to follow. You need aa and aaa batteries. I wish I would have had a electric screw gun because it would have made the assembly faster. You can screw by hand but it did take me longer. I hope that helps! Jan 30, 2014

Jack A: I cannot provide a comparison to the Dream specifically, but our 3yo loves to play with her party time kitchen. The electronic burner, microwave, analog clock, and cordless phone are fun and there is plenty of storage for her kitchenware. The party time is small enough to be moved from the back porch in Summer to the playroom in Winter. It's size is also perfect for toddler age in terms of shelf height and access.

          Hope this helps.

Michele H: I only have the partytime kitchen so I can't give a accurate comparison of the 2 but I would say to look at the size and where you are putting it plus the age of the child. My daughter is a tall 4 year old and the partytime is a little small for her already. However she does still play with it. My one year old seems a little more into if tho, subs because the fridge and stove are more at his level Jan 30, 2014

          Cathyann T: Hi ,
We bought the Lifestyle party kitchen for our daughter last year. She's almost 3 now and still loves it! She "cooks " and serves us. And she stores all the play food in cabinets and fridge! No complaints here! We love the light under the microwave and the sizzling sound the stovetop makes!
          Hope this helps!

Janet D: My grandchildren love the party time kitchen, I was fascinated by the fact that it had a working clock. My son put it together in a short amount of time and my Daughter put on the stickers. It looks just like the picture. I hope this helps, I don't think you can go wrong with Step2 there products last forever. Jan 30, 2014
