Our swingset was delivered on Monday, 3/29/10. My Dad and Husband were all ready to assemble it on Friday, 4/2/10. They literally open the manual and read the first step and realize the first piece (the upper wall that you mount the steering wheel too, WAS MISSING!). They knew that I had my heart on our son being able to play with his new swingset on Easter so they managed to assemble it without that wall. [...]My Dad quickly installed the missing wall but that involved having to take a few pieces apart. Luckily it was just in time for a party we had planned [...] I was very concerned about all of the kids playing on the swingset if it was missing one of the upper walls and a child could fall. The swingset itself is awesome! We used rubber mulch to put on the ground inside the lower house section. Our 3 and a half year old son loves his swingset. I love the fact that it has all of the features that I wanted and doesn't take up my entire backyard! I would recommend this swingset to others, but keep in mind that it might be missing a part, so check everything before you plan to assemble it!

This is an overall good play set. Not being able purchase extensions or any add on items from step 2 is a let down. I now wish that I would have just saved the money and spent it on lumber and built a set that I could add on to as my children get older. I do recommend this play set for toddlers and our children really enjoy it.

My daughter likes her play structure a lot! I put it together by myself and I have never put anything like that together before. I used the video instructions as well as the written instructions. It wasn't difficult to do, just time consuming. I was also missing 2 pieces that were sent to me. The downside is we live in Florida and the plastic gets HOT. We are going to have to buy/build something to add shade so my daughter can play on it in the middle of the day.

Our kids love this Step 2 Play Center. We have a small backyard and were looking for something that had a lot of features for our 2 and 5 year olds and this has been a perfect fit. Our kids love the club house and the swings and the rope ladder is a constantly used feature. I would definitely recommend this product. I am not a handyman in any definition of the term and I was able to fully assemble this (with the "help" of a 2 and a 5 year old) in about 6 hours. This is a great American Made product.

We researched SO many swingsets and ended up buying this playset for our son's 1st birthday. Must say: What a great buy!! Everyone at his party had a blast on it...we had ages 1-6, and they were playing with it all afternoon! Playdates have been great so far...all the kids want to do is play on this. One of the best parts is the playhouse that's attached...the children really enjoy climbing and playing in it. Love the plastic as well...sturdy, and don't have to worry about splinters. The only thing we had to add was a baby swing for our son. He walks and can play in the playhouse, but won't be able to use the regular swings for awhile. Would highly recommend this playset!!

We had strongly considered Suncast and Gorilla systems from [@], but after several families recommending we stay away from wood due to durability and maintenance issues, we went with the Step2 set. Good choice. This set works well with younger kids and surely will do better in the elements than the wood. Best part about the entire set was the instructions, they were very clear. Setup took about 5hrs (If was 100F outside) and went together exactly as described. Guess this is what happens when you have 'English as a first language' folks writing the directions. Our son is almost two and this set is perfect for him to grow with as well as easy to move if needed because it doesn't weigh 700lbs.

Cannot assemble fully. The swing bar will not fit in the proper hole. Cannot use it!
I would love to dump it!!! Don't waste your time & money!!
