[...] It arrived today, while the kids and I were playing outside, and I had it out of the box and assembled within 10 minutes...that's with two 2 year olds "helping" me. We love it!! I was a little concerned at first because I couldn't find the directions and then I realized it was so simple to put together you don't even need directions. The only thing I am a little concerned about is that it doesn't have any screws. I imagine this is to make it easy to disassemble and store for the winter and that way you never end up with rusty screws, but I picked it up to move it and the table top came off...it snapped right back on. I don't imagine this being a big deal, as I don't plan to move it often. All in all, I would say this is the best outdoor purchase I have made for the daycare so far, and I imagine we will get hours of use out of it.

I do think this product is much sturdier than other table sets but I dislike the colors of the one with the green seats and yellow and green leaf pattern umbrella. The burgundy one looks so much better, even the striped umbrella top. My number one complaint is that the umbrella top is cheap. At first glance, it doesnt look cheap but it wasnt long before it ripped from winds blowing even after making sure I didnt leave it up all the time.

I purchased this for my Family Home Childcare in 2007. 6 kids per day, for 5 years and it still looks new. It is wonderfully sturdy and easy to clean. It passes state inspections year after year like a breeze. It seats 6 kids wonderfully, and up to 8 with small chairs on the ends.
I do wish the solid brown (woodland) was still available as I am in the market for another, I loved the natural "forest" look so much more.

While the adults are dodging the sun, The children can too during the summer picnics!!! this table is great for all seasons. washable, durable, the list goes on and on. during the cold winter months, we take down the umbrella and use the table for arts and crafts. We did finger paint designs, and washed off at the designated time!! The children love it!!!

I bought this for my triplets' grandparent's house who now have nine grandchildren under the age of five. It is perfect when we are all together for dinners. My 17 month old triplets can get on and off it with ease.
It was very easy to put together and as with all Step 2 products seems very durable. Thanks for another great product, Step 2 is my new favorite company!
