I purchased this product after reading many reviews for sand and water tables. I have had this for 3 years now. It has been outside for 2 winters and I just replaced the bungee for the second time and used a magic eraser to clean it up and it looks like new! This table is big enough for at least 4 kids to play at once. I usually just fill up both sides with water since the sand and water mix quickly otherwise and it makes quite a mess. I have also used this as a "car" table inside. This holds all our sand and water toys when not in use and I store the umbrella in it as well. I wish the umbrella was adjustable since it rarely shields the table unless it is exactly noon when we are using it. The design must have changed though because I just pop the umbrella in from the top each time. I just wish it had a pivot at the top so it would shade the table in the afternoon. I have not had any problems with the water leaking from either side. I am still happy with this purchase 3 years later!

I did a lot of research before selecting this table. I weighed buying separate water and sand play tables and varying designs and sizes. I chose this table because it had a cover for both the sand and water sides plus a large umbrella. The problem with the table is that the umbrella gets screwed into place by a part under the table and you can't use the cover if you plan to use the umbrella. So this is a lose, lose because I need the cover of both sand and water (lots of cats in my neighborhood) but I also need the umbrella because lots of direct sun during the day. I am very disappointed and considering going through all the trouble of disasembling so I can return it.

This is without question the best child's product we ever purchased. We bought it for our daughter's 1st birthday. She was a little small at the time but has used it almost daily for the past 2 years and I anticipate several more years of use from this table. We have even taken it with us on vacation to a resort where every single other child at the kids pool was desperate to play with it and of course we shared!

The assembly can be tricky - if you lack an electric screwdriver then good luck! With one however the job goes pretty fast.

If you choose to go the sand and water route at the same time expect a giant sand puddle. I try to do 1 at a time and only add water on hot days when it will evaporate quickly. This keeps things cleaner.

We play treasure hunt with it and hide little things for my daughter to find in the sand. She loves making all kinds of concoctions using it as a sand kitchen. We purchased some food related sand toys from other companies and it has kept this table "new" to her.

I've wanted to purchase this table for awhile and didn't know if my Grandsons would enjoy it, so I held off. Wrong Move! One is 4 years old now and Loves it! I purchase the colored (Crayola) sand at [@] and both my Grandsons are kept busy for hours,They love to build sand castles, run their cars through the sand,fill cups of sand and watch them drain through the funnel. We haven't filled it with water, so I don't know if ours would leak, This is a great product and I'll be passing it on when my grandsons decide they no longer want to use it. It is Indestructible!
