I have owned at least a dozen or more step2 products between houses, kitchen sets & furniture. I purchased this house because my 1, 2 & 11 year olds were out growing there current cottage... the house is ALOT bigger than expected but a great size for lots of kids and even adults. we are able to fit 2 adults and 4 kids easily will room still to move. I am am 5'3 and can stand up inside without my head touching the top...
I DID NOT expect the inside of the house to be so cheap. all other sets Ive had have by step2 have electric burners, microwaves, and tons of dishes and food... this set did not although it did come with a working phone & doorbell. I was expecting for the price to get more. after purchasing step2 kitchen sets and food my kids & kids friends play for hours everyday in this house... I would definately buy again & recommend to others!

The overall size is great as kids can use it when small and grow into. The overall look is nice and ties well to other Step2 products, however for the price, it should be better. The stickers applied by Step2 were crooked, lots of scratches and the roof has gaps throughout between the top and the roof. A product of this cost and from Step2 should be better made.

This playhouse was purchased as a birthday present for my 2 year old daughter. She absolutely loves it and asks to play in it everyday. Her older cousins boy(9) and girl (6) also love playing in it. My father helped my husband put it together which was good because you needed two people at times. It has great height to it, which we like because my daughter will be able to play with it as she grows.. I am 5'6 and I could almost stand up straight. Also, I am able to comfortably fit a small folding chair inside for myself since my daughter likes me to play there with her. We plan on laying some composite decking down as flooring( right now it is on the grass) to help keep the house cleaner as well as to discourage bugs. We also store a small covered bin of toy food and dishes inside the house to add to the fun. Overall, I would say we are very happy with the purchase.

I chose this playhouse for my two year old figuring that she would out-grow a smaller, cheaper one fairly quickly, and I must say I made the right choice. She LOVES her house! I also bought the Cooking Essential stool set, the Play Food Assortment and the Dining Room Pots & Pans Set to go with it. It has provided her with hours of fun and keeps her busy and using her imagination. I wish I would've bought it sooner!

We bought this playhouse because we have 3 children, 3yr & 9mo old girls and an 11yr old boy. We wanted a large playhouse so they could all play together. After much research we found this playhouse fit the bill for size. Although it is a bit pricey I know Step 2 makes products that last since we still have many items from when my son was little and 10 years later they still look great. It was very easy to put together, my husband and I had it done in a half hour. Love the storage in the kitchen and the table inside. I do believe for the cost of this, they should include a couple chairs for the table. When we put batteries in the doorbell it did not work but the phone did work. I called Step 2 and they recommended I use Duracell batteries only in the doorbell, so we bought some Duracells and swapped those out with the other brand we had used. Low and behold the doorbell worked and we had one super happy 3 yr old! I would buy this playhouse again in a minute, I am super happy with it and so are the kids.

We couldn't be happier, the look on our 3 year olds face Christmas morning ,indescribable joy , she was speechless ! It couldn't have been easier to put together , took about 30 minutes. It's huge, takes up our entire dining room, we will move it outside in the spring ( we live in the snowbelt ). The doorbell didn't work, but Step2 got a replacement to us in just a few days, we have purchased 4 or 5 products from Step2 in the last few years and they have , by far, the best customer service of any company I've ever had dealings with. We have had so much fun with this playhouse , and you will love it too !
