My one year old daughter loves this car! She hates a stroller but will ride for HOURS in the Push Around Buggy without complaint. It's super cute and always a go-to favorite with the kids. This is our second buggy, having purchased one of these cars six years ago for my son's first birthday. I knew from experience it would be a well loved and quality product. Our new "anniversary edition" seems to retain the same durability as the original. It is comfy enough for long rides, and the functioning "trunk" is a big hit! One of the only problems I have noticed is that the car is VERY low to the ground. This is good for little ones to enter and exit the car, but I have noticed my daughter can drag her foot on the ground while moving. When riding on asphalt, or other rough surfaces, there is the potential for injury to little feet or at the very least, damage to their shoes. Also the horn is difficult for her to apply enough pressure to make it squeak. It's NOT really an issue, but be prepared to have to push it for them if they want to enjoy it. Lastly, I do wish there was a bit more foot room. It's not a problem now, but could be as she grows. Still, considering these things and other similar products, I believe the Push Around Buggy is the best choice in ride/push cars - FUN for the kids and the quality you expect from Step 2.

We received this little car as a birthday gift for my 2 year old. Putting it together was one of the most frustrating experiences I've had as a single mom. The recessed wheels/hubcaps made thecaps difficult to pound onto the wheel shaft...had to find a small tupperware cup to support the bottom cap. The bolt for the handle didn't even remotely fit through the predrilled hole so I had to carve out enough space for it to finally fit through. Very cute once it was together however, once it was in use I discovered another issue...my toddler can and does stick his legs out to the side as we're walking and puts them on the ground making it difficult to move the car...if I hadn't been paying attention on the mulitple times he'd done this his little legs would have been broken from the force of me pushing and him stopping. Although my brother has this item and loved it for his 2 children I would never recommend it due to the safety issues.

Bought this as a gift for our granddaughter. The box said easy assembly. Only if you have a drill to drill all the holes the screws go in to put it together. It only had two holes with black backings where he seat-belt goes. NONE of the other holes were in the buggy. Steering column has crazy design. AFTER WE FINALLY GET THIS THING TOGETHER I WILL COMMENT MORE.

We sent this as a gift for my granddaughter. When her father started to put it together, it was missing the rods for the wheels to be assembled! We could not use it and my granddaughter was upset, as well as her parents. My daughter is calling to ask you to ship the missing pieces or we would like our money back. Step 2 products are usually great, but you NEED to check quality control to make sure all pieces are added to the shipment. Please take care of this issue in a timely manner. Thank you.
