I have a 3 yr old and 1 1/2 yr old, boys. They LOVE LOVE LOVE this toy.
If you put it in the grass the car slows to a stop once it hits the grass. The car goes really far on a hard surface like a wood floor (my kids find it more fun this way, however you need A LOT of room for it).
Sooo easy to put together and take apart. best toy they ever got!!!

I was very excited to purchase this toy due to all of the great reviews I read about it, but as of right now I don't know what all the fuss was about. My 2 boys (3 years & 1 1/2 years)got this for Christmas and it was a huge hit - for that one day! We had to push them to make it more exciting as well, since it goes a bit slow for their liking. When we brought it home they didn't really care for it anymore - unless we pushed them which is a little hard on the back after so long. I thought they would enjoy doing it all by their selves, but that wasn't the case. So, for the past 4 months they have just been running up and down it. Now we have it packed away, since it does take up quite a bit of room!

A little hesitant at first but my one year old loves it. He will point to his helmet then point to the coaster. He will go down it about 5 to 6 times before he is done but, hello he is one.
So happy we found one.

My kids played with this at a local play space. It was their favorite thing there. It takes a bit of room for the cars to slow down, so I recommend using it outdoors. And while it is safe, little ones need a bit of help making sure that the car is situated correctly.
