"It is a little more challenging finding a chair that works in 15” of water but the Step2 Mondello Chair with Shade works perfectly on our 15” of water tanning ledge. The water is just touching the seat of the chair. It doesn’t float around but it is still very easy to move around. The chair was easy to put together and didn’t take long. It’s nice the shade is removable as we have a spot for an umbrella on the tanning ledge so you can easily remove the shade and attach it back if you want to use the chair outside of the water."

"The Mondello Pool Chair with Shade is a gorgeous, contemporary addition to our pool area. As a floridian I especially appreciate the shade to protect me from the hot sun while relaxing poolside. It sits up higher then other in water chairs making it easy to get in and out of and I can sit in in without getting my clothes wet even on the sunshelf. Looks great in and out of the pool and is easy to move around. Love it!"

"This is a very nice pool chair. It can be used next to the pool or in our pool on the shallow sun deck part. It's sturdy and provides just enough shade to keep the sun out of your face. It's a great size and holds up to kids and adults. Very functional and easy to put together."
Love this so much we got a second one
"This is the chair we fight over—-especially when we want to sit outside but don’t want the blaring Florida sun beating down on our face. We love this product so much, we got a second one! The assembly takes less than 5 minutes, and despite having the overhang which blocks the sun —you do not feel like you’re roasting. The cleaning is also a breeze—quick spray from our portable pressure washer and it’s ready to go—the Florida pollen around starting Feb and doesn’t seem to end until September so having a durable piece of furnatire that we can leave out uncovered and not be ruining by the sun or pollen is a huge selling point for us. Also—let’s talk comfort—you might be thinking it looks uncomfortable—wrong. I’m 5’10 and my body is perfectly cradled in these chairs without any strain on my lower back—also—getting out of the chair is simple as well. This is great for anyone who was born in 19XX and is now feeling their age."
Shade Chair
"We love this chair! The removable shade is my husband’s favorite. He likes that he can sit in the sun but also have protection from the sun being directly on his face. It’s also nice you can remove the shade too if you want. As always another favorite part of the Step 2 products are that they can be in or out of the water too!"

"This chair is great and it works for deeper pool shelves. My kids love it and the table. It does require 50lb sand bag but it was very easy to put together"

It works well both in and out of the water, though our baja shelf is a bit too deep for it to be used ideally in-pool. Love love this design
"My family and I love the style of the Mondello chair. The seating allows a comfortable upright seated position that’s not just in the lounging position. I personally enjoy this seat a little more than the loungers but do love them all. We use them on our sundeck and off the sundeck. I have noticed they need to be cleaned often to avoid water buildup inside. The mondello is a lovely design. Very happy with it."
