"Putting it together was average and reccomend 2 people. It’s just awkward with the chair, not heavy or hard to do. I’ve wanted the table for a long time and was most excited about that. I really like the headrest but the cupholder seems flimsy."
"Love that it works so well in 12” water or less on Baja shelf so many chairs are 9” or less. I do wish removal was easier of the top shade."
"We purchased this item as a replacement for our Ledge Loungers that have become increasingly difficult to get in and out of since we purchased them three years ago. The Mondello lounger sits right above our 9" tanning ledge waterline so we do miss having some water on our bodies as we lounge, but having an easier time getting up and down from the chair is more important. The comfort of the chair is amazing and we find it very relaxing. The chair came in two large boxes and the assembly process was rather simple, but having two people makes the job much easier. The lounger requires a 50# bag of sand for weight and having a wide mouth funnel would have made the filling of the chair back and base simpler. We also received the accessory pack that included an adjustable pillow, cup holder, and an accessory holder that all easily attached to the chair. The shade is easily attached and detached as needed with the hand tightening screws on the back. In our area, the wind is frequent visitor and we leave the shad unattached when not in use. We also purchased the Mondello In-Pool Side Table to go along with our new lounger. It has a wide table area that allows room for snacks, drinks and other items as needed. Being weighted by pool water inside the table it does not float or move about the pool. We also love how it tucks conveniently inside of the lounger to save space."
"Nice chair to use by the pool or in the pool. We use it on the outside of the pool or on our tanning ledge inside the pool. Easy to assemble and looks great next to our other Step2 items."
"This product exceeded my expectations. I love the simplicity of the design which also makes it very easy to clean. I love that it can hold adults but is also comfortable for children. The chair can be used with our without the sun shade though the shade does have to be screwed in place when in use. Before the base is filled it is very easy to move around the pool. The curvature is very comfortable for lounging but also for being lifeguard to the children. Another great product by Step2."
"We have a step two Lounger for the tanning deck in our pool and i love that there is a shaded version of this. I'm fair skin so being able to lounge in the water while being shaded is excellent. It's really easy to assemble just make sure you have some sand on hand ( to keep it weighted and anchored ) . Perfect height for the water level and also nice to just move it next to the pool and relax as well . It is super sturdy as well , this is gonna last through some weather."
"Step 2 keeps delivering on amazing pool products. Delivery was fast and efficient. It came in two large, very lightweight boxes. Easy and quick assembly. This design not only looks amazing and very modern but is definitely one of the most comfortable. This chairs sun shade allows me not to have to break out the larger umbrellas especially on windy days. You will be fighting your kids for a seat on this chair they absolutely love it!"
"I own a few Step2 lounge chairs and this one is definitely my favorite. The look is very modern and sleek and it is extremely comfortable. This chair isn’t just for those who have a tanning ledge, it also looks great and is very functional on the pool deck. The shader is a fantastic idea and I like how it can easily be removed with thumb screws. The assembly was very easy and it is extremely sturdy. You can’t beat the value of this chair, another great product from Step2!"
"This ledge lounger was very easy to assemble. I appreciate the bases fill with sand to help with minimizing floating from kids swimming and splashing. This is light enough to be moved by myself but sturdy enough to sit solid on the sun shelf with no issue. This is also one of the more comfortable designs I have sat in, in terms of the curve of the chair. Shade also attaches and detaches simply. Would definitely recommend this for a sun shelf or pool deck."
"Wow! This is a really nifty and purposeful chair. It looks very nice in the yard and also helps eliminate lugging out the umbrella every time we just want to sit for a bit! Incredibly comfortable and love the ease of assembling the shade cover on or taking it off and hanging it on the back. Definitely worth it, the design is worth every bit! The kids just love it, we push it in and out of the pool sun ledge."
