"We ordered this product as my sons Christmas gift. Since it was on high demand it came the week of Christmas. When we went to build it. It was dented all over the place. We kept it because my son is two and won’t notice plus it was a big part of his Christmas gift. But disappointed with the dents."
"One of the predrilled holes was not a circle and therefor the piece would not work. Had to fix it in order for it to fit. For the price the pieces should go together with no issues."
"Resembles an actual workbench. Lights up and sounds real. Not too bad putting together. Glad I bought it and worth my money."
"My son loves this! My only wish is that the vacuum actually worked out at least made noise."
"Our 2. 5-year-old son loves this workshop! He plays with it every day and our 6-year-old daughter plays also. The instructions were easy to follow and the workshop is very durable and fun."
"Found this same product sold by three different retailers after purchase from step2 website for an average of 50 dollars less. Shop around!"
"A little tough to put together because the plastic is very durable/thick. Would be nice if it came with batteries for the price, but he loves it!"
"I purchased this as a gift for my 3 and 1/2 year old grandson. He was so excited when he received it and loves playing with it. My son was very impressed with the quality of it as he was assembling it. I feel it was a reasonable price point. From every aspect, I am very satisfied with this purchase."
"At first glance, this workshop looks like it will be hours of fun for our 3-yr old, but he didn’t even play with it for 5 minutes. The foam wood pieces (which off-gas when they are removed from the plastic) are difficult for an adult to screw the pieces into, much less a child. Not to mention there aren’t enough pieces to build all four structures. Plus the structures are pretty worthless, once they are built. The wheels on the car don’t turn and you can’t fly the airplane. The drill is worthless for making the projects and the bits are hard to get in and out. The workstation doesn’t teach them how to use the tools either as the bolts just fall into the holes without much effort. There are no nails to use with the hammer or any apparatus that would warrant using any of the tools for that matter. The vacuum has no real buttons or realistic noises. This toy is going out in the garage as all my (very smart) child can find to do on it is bang on it with the hammer."
