Frustrating but fun
"This is not our first Step 2 product. All have had issues. The predrilled holes rarely line up. Easy fix, we drilled others but still, for the cost it is frustrating. The instructions are ikea worthy (worse really) and make putting and item together more time consuming than needed. The pictures of this show pretend food but that is not included (should be for the price). Step 2 products are pricey. They do last compared to competitors and the kids do love them. All the top ratings on this were from “testers” so slightly biased in my opinion. Some flaws and misleading descriptions. Customer service was prompt, slightly rude tone when asking about the pretend food. But not a loss for kids enjoyment."

"My daughter recommended this when I asked her for birthday suggestions for a grandson turning 4. Her kids and their friends love playing in it. There’s plenty of room for many kids! (My 4 yr grandson and his 2yr old brother are loving it! Keeps them busy. Encourages creative play!)"
Perfect
"My 2yo granddaughter absolutely loves this, she calls it her kitchen. We don't use sand in it because she has a sandbox. We put water in both sides and she likes to move water from one side to the other. My favorite thing about it is how open it is. It gets really hot in Texas, so we didn't want to get her a house that was hot inside. It's also been extremely windy these last few months and we haven't had any problems with it holding its own. Wonderful gift for young kids!"

Wonderful item/ Hard to assemble
"I gave this product 4 stars only because the assembly was difficult. The directions were only pictures and it would be helpful to have predrilled holes for the screws. Very hard to get through the thick plastic. Otherwise, my grandsons loved it and spent quite a bit of time using it."

"I ordered this for my Grandson’s Birthday. I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old. Both kids loved playing together. Very nice. I would recommend it totally."
Missing instructions book and no drilled holes.
"We did not get a book with instructions so we had to watch a YouTube video 5 times because some of the holes where not even drilled. So our item is kind of wobbly at the moment until we buy a drill."

"It really does take 2 people to put this play house together. Use power tools. Our 2 yr old granddaughter LOVES this play house! It’s great for encouraging imaginative play. It was a hit from the time she saw it. She plays with it everyday!"

- What is the canopy material ? Will it hold up to Arizona heat?
- The canopy is made of a durable fabric designed to provide shade, but it will experience some fading over time, especially in extreme weather conditions like the Arizona heat. Step2 provides a 1-year warranty on the canopy against manufacturer defects, but this does not cover cosmetic issues such as fading, scratches, or damage due to environmental exposure (sun, wind, rain, etc.). To help prolong the life of the canopy, we recommend: Taking it down when not in use for extended periods. Storing it indoors during extreme weather conditions. Cleaning it gently with mild soap and water to remove dirt and debris. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out!
