"I bought this play food set along with the kitchen I ordered for my kiddo over a year ago. Because of a move, we didn’t actually get everything set up until recently. The kitchen is great but this play food is horrible. I’m so glad I briefly put one of the food pieces in my mouth while holding something else for my toddler because the taste was pure chemicals. I mean, they taste toxic. I’m running them through the dishwasher now to see if it’s just something coating them, but I’m nervous to let the kids use them now. Do better, Step2."

"These are wonderful. I purchased them for my 16 month old niece for Christmas. We let her open them early to play with them and she happily sat there and picked each one out and named the piece (potato, ice cream, chips, yum yum). I like that they are washable and so diversified. I’m sure she will have hours and days of fun playing with them and the other items she will get to use with her play kitchen."
