"This is a great grill for kids but about a year after we bought it for my grandson the smoking device stop smoking. I’m a very technical person but I’m not sure why it quit smoking. Could someone contact me via email to talk about fixing it or sending me a replacement. He will be very happy to get his grill fixed."

"Let me start by saying, we have yet to find a Step2 product that doesn’t keep my kids’ attention nor have we found one that we aren’t thoroughly in love with. My boys could not have been more excited to receive this toy, so clearly as soon as they found it on the front porch, it had to be assembled post haste! Luckily, the product was easy to put together in a relatively minimal amount of time so they could get down to work - taking orders and serving up steaks and corn! The boys love pretending to grill when daddy is grilling, and daddy loves that they can pretend instead of actually trying to help at the big grille! The features are so well thought out and really allow our children’s imagination to go to another level. "Our 3 boys - ages 2, 4, and 6 - all had a blast playing with the Sizzle & Smoke Barbeque Grill. We often get the boys involved in the kitchen and this was a great chance for them to play with a toy that offers the same experience with none of the adult supervision required! The highlight of the toy is the "steam" (don't worry parents, it's just cool water vapor) and the way the grill lights up when you turn the ignition knob. This toy came with plenty of tools/accessories to up the replayability factor. Would definitely recommend to any friends with kids around the same ages as ours. "After just two weeks of play, the Step2 Sizzle & Smoke Grill has exceeded our expectations! The instructions were very clear and assembly was an ease. Our almost 2 year old son has thoroughly enjoyed grilling for us nightly. He LOVES the ”sizzle & smoke” feature. As with all Step2 toys, the durability can’t be beat. The cabinet in the front is perfect for storing all the accessories when not in use. The two wheels make for easy transport around the yard. "My boys received the Sizzle & Smoke Barbeque Grill as part of the Step2 Toy Tester program. From the moment the grill was delivered to our porch my 5 year old, Jackson, was ecstatic! We built it together in the living room while his younger brother, Calvin (10 months), napped. Jackson loves to help build things and so his enjoyment of the grill started immediately. Once we got it built (which wasn't too difficult) we moved it out to the deck to test it out! Jackson LOVED the sizzle and smoke feature of the grill, his face with the first blow of smoke was priceless. He was happy to cook me dinner (several times). I know he'll enjoy cooking dinner right next to his Dad on the grill for a long time! Once Calvin woke from his nap we brought him outside to check it out too. He really liked the corn! Jackson was happy and excited to show his baby brother how to be a grill master. He'll be teaching him for years to come. . . Jackson even snuck out later that evening after his bath to grill a little more before bedtime! The grill is very stylish and I found the height to be great. Jackson just turned 5 but is very tall for his age. I did not feel that the grill was too short or small for him to enjoy and at the same time Calvin is also able to reach and play with everything on the grill as well. The double door storage is perfect to keep all of the toy food and utensils in when not in use. And the wheels on the grill allow it to be moved with ease - even by Jackson. "I received the Step2 Sizzle & Smoke Barbeque Grill in exchange for my honest review as part of the Spring 2019 Toy Tester Program. First off I want to say that the assembly was fairly easy and straightforward. Normally a screwdriver is all that is need however, in our case we had two holes that were not completely drilled through where the accessory hooks needed to snap in. We needed to get our drill out and drill the holes through before the hook would snap in. Unfortunately, before discovering this issue we assumed we needed to just push the piece in with more force and sadly ended up snapping one of them. This one unfortunate incident did however lead to a redeeming experience with Step 2 customer service. I emailed explaining my issue as well the fact that my 2. 5 yr old had ripped the loose Step2 logo sticker off the front of the grill and they had a replacement hook and sticker in the mail the very next day! It was a great experience. For the function of the grill. . . It works just as described and is a lot of fun. My daughter has a blast "cooking" us steaks on the grill and boiling corn in the pot on the burner. It comes with 2 plates, utensils, steak sauce, tongs and an oven mitt to serve your food up. My daughter's favorite feature is the center knob that clicks, makes a grilling noise and creates red glow on the grill with or without the "smoke". The cool water vapors are an awesome idea and really look like smoke on the grill. I would have rated 4 stars based on our assembly issue but my positive interaction with customer service and speed of replacement part delivery bumped it back up to 5 stars. Overall this a fun innovative toy that my daughter loves to play with both inside and out. Thank you Step2 for letting me test this item as part of the Step2 Toy Tester Program!"
