Awesome sandbox fun!

"All put together, the legs were hard to get in place. All done. Large enough for excavator, Tow truck etc. Came with some build a castle items & shovels. Lid is easy to put on & off. Stays on."

Excellent Durability with sealing lid

"My 3 year old loves this sand table! I was concerned it would be too short for him because he’s very tall for his age however it’s just perfect! My favorite part about this sand table is the lid!! I was impressed with how tight it seals to keep bugs and dirt from getting in. And even better that my son can use the top of the lid as a roadway for his cars! I highly recommend!"

Great product except for lid

"Lid on the sandbox collects water, instead of shedding it. After a rain, the lid if full of water. It's near impossible to empty the water without getting it into the sand."

Makes Great Sensory Bin

"It's a rainy spring, so we are currently using it inside as a sensory bin with pinto beans. The boss LOVE IT!!!!"

After two years still going strong

"I purchased this table a little over two years ago for my three 2 yr old Grand daughters that I babysit. We have used it outside for Sand and never had a problem with it filling with water until my older grand-daughters did not replace the cover properly. I thought about drilling some small holes in the bottom to allow it to drain but have never done it. We have also used the table for colored rice, and flour sand as indoor/garage activities during the colder months of the year. The girls always felt the need to climb into what ever we had in the table so I know it can hold three 2 yr old girls along with the sand or rice. The girls are older now so they don't feel the need to climb into the table anymore but they still have fun with what ever we put in there to play with and unlike other reviews we have never had a leakage issues as long as the cover is on properly."

Great sand table!

"I love this sand table. It is durable and keeps my daughter much cleaner than a traditional sandbox. Although other reviews complained that the legs were hard to put into place, I found installation very fast and easy. After applying a small amount of pressure legs just snapped into place. I love how the lid on this sand table has straps to keep it in place."

Sandi (5/5)

Legs are impossible to get in’s.

"It it impossible to get the legs to slot it due to excess plastic in holes. After fighting with trying to get the legs in after 20 minutes, decided to file down the excess plastic and was finally able to get the legs in. Do not recommend unless you look forward to brute forcing the legs in or removing the extra plastic from the mold."

Save yourself some frustration -- don't buy this

"I managed to assemble one of these successfully about 10 years ago. I sold it when I moved. I just bought a new one. The legs won't go into the table holes. I followed the advice on Step2's website -- tried vegetable oil, tried heating with a hair dryer. Also tried dish soap. Also applied considerable pressure, as the website recommends. End result: the leg neck that is supposed to go through the hole in the table, instead is collapsing into the leg body. Step2 support suggested that I use sandpaper to remove excess plastic inside the table holes. Instead, I'm leaving this one-star review."

Q&A

Once the table is assembled, are you able to unassemble it?
Hello! The legs of the table do lock into place and are not meant to be disassembled.
Can I buy just the lid? I seemed to have lost mine.
Thank you for contacting Step2. We apologize but unfortunately, we do not sell & are unable to sell any of the small or large plastic rotational molded pieces such as the lid due to how the products are produced/manufactured. All products are manufactured and packaged in a complete mold set or as a family. We do not run individual plastic rotational molded pieces or stock extra pieces; therefore, we cannot sell these individually. We truly apologize!
