Terrible limited warranty program

"Their warranty on the product is poor! It's only guaranteed for the first year of purchase and if you want to replace it, you have to pay for FedEx shipping, regardless if purchase is less than that. We were gifted this and it needed the stickers to be updated, come to find out $9 for shipping for $4 products. Terrible! This is to keep kids safe, you'd think they'd do better."

"Kidalert Filled the base with sand and tried to put the plug in the hold but it fell right out. I measured the hole and its 7/8 the plug is 13/16 absolutely no interference fit. So now the sand runs out."

"It works well at getting drivers' attention. I had mine for about 3 weeks until an angry driver decided to run it over in front of my children and me. Do you have any specific direction on how it (the Kid Alert) should be placed when set up? Specifically, is this allowed to be placed in the street? Should any part of it touch the street? Or should it all be placed behind the curb in the yard? Can you direct me to a document that specifically states how to use this item with regard to placing it in the street or not? Thanks

Why are there nubs on the back leg? It looks like they are there for a purpose but they aren’t mentioned in the directions at all. It seems like they should be there to help stabilize it from the back?
